AI GeneratedThe speaker discusses the Las Vegas Raiders' potential draft strategies, focusing on the possibility of trading up for quarterback Jayden Daniels. He analyzes the synergy between new coordinator Luke Getse, head coach Antonio Pierce, and existing weapons like Davante Adams, while also sharing his thoughts on the upcoming Super Bowl.
Well, well, well, well, well.
It's Super Bowl week and the Raiders are trying to steal the spotlight.
I'm not a reporter.
I'm not an inside scooper.
Or I don't claim to be, even if I'm not.
But once in a while,
I think it's okay to educate ourselves on what the news is out there.
Now, we've heard people who are in the know say Raiders
are trying to trade up for Jaden Daniels.
And I'm not going to talk about that stuff
because that's not reported on by SuperDuperDuper.
I'm not saying that it's not true, I'm just saying it's
not Ian Rapoport, or Albert Breer, or DJ, or Peter Schrager.
It's not one of these guys
who actually has legit background breaking these stories.
But, when there's an article
that comes out about the Patriots thinking...
We're not going to draft a quarterback.
We're going to get one at free agency,
meaning that they're going to trade back from the third overall pick.
And then you couple that with the reports
of us maybe looking to move up
to get a certain Heisman Trophy winner
who may be behind my left shoulder.
It bears reading.
This is on Bleacher Report.
Insider believes team is open to trading number three overall pick.
Despite the need for a franchise quarterback, the New England Patriots
are reportedly a candidate to potentially trade back
from the number three overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, some people around the league believe
the Patriots could address the quarterback need in free agency,
trade back from three, and fill other holes on the roster.
By doing so, the Patriots would be passing on an opportunity
to select Caleb Williams, Drake May, or Jaden Daniels.
Per Graziano, the Atlanta Falcons moving up from 8
and the Vikings moving up from 11 would be teams to watch
if the Pats do decide to blah, blah, blah, blah.
Okay, so they're talking about Atlanta at 8 and Minnesota at 11.
Those aren't that far from 13.
And if Telesco's brought in...
Strictly on the fact that he's laid out a plan to go get a quarterback,
which is what a lot of people have been saying.
And Antonio Pierce used to coach Jayden Daniels.
And Jayden Daniels, in his Heisman speech, said,
I'd like to thank AP and Marvin Lewis,
who are both on the coaching staff now.
And then he's posting pictures with people,
or people are posting pictures with him
saying he wants to play for the Raiders.
And Antonio Pierce is liking that stuff on Instagram or Twitter or X
or wherever you go for your social media nonsense.
Jayden Daniels is looking more and more like a Raider.
And again, you guys don't come here for breaking news.
If you get my news from me, that's going to be tough
because it's going to be a couple days late.
The reason why everything is not the day of,
unless it's super duper breaking news like
Josh McDaniels getting fired and I want to celebrate
and come on here and just scream
nonsense into the void.
I take my time to gather my thoughts.
You guys know my thoughts on the rookie quarterbacks.
My favorite is Michael Penix Jr.,
who I'm pretty sure will fall to us at 13,
although his draft stock is rising
because medical reports have come out
and said he's completely healthy.
My second favorite quarterback in this draft has been up for grabs
since I've watched all of them for a video exclusively on Patreon
where I reacted to all the highlights.

for copyright reasons, yada, yada, yada.
In that video, I watched Jaden Daniels, and I said,
can he be Lamar or Justin Fields,
because his throwing mechanics are not great,
But they could be molded a la Lamar or Josh Allen.
This was all before we hired the coordinator
that was just with Justin Fields.
So now, you take the guy in Luke Getze, who was able to make Justin
Fields look pretty damn good these last few weeks of the season.
You know, Justin Fields has no weapons,
so he's limited with his ability, and he's limited with his ability
to get people to ball who aren't exactly superstars in their own right.
You couple Luke Getze with someone like a Jaden Daniels, who has,
if Josh Jacobs comes back, which we can talk about that in this video
as well, who has a Davante Adams to throw to, a Jacoby Myers.
a Michael Mayer.
We've got weapons that Justin Fields and Luke Getzey just didn't have.
And if you bring those two together,
I think we have a chance to build something truly special.
If we trade up to three and we draft Jaden Daniels,
I am all for it.
It's funny because, you know, when we hired Luke Getze, I was,
again, the only person in this space to come on here and say,
how about we just relax and see how the players feel about him
and see the type of offense he's going
to run before we start calling for heads to be decapitated.
And now a bunch of Raider YouTubers
are coming on and said, you know what?
I didn't like the hire initially, but after doing some research,
his offense is actually a lot better than I thought he would be.
Oh, so after you took any time at all to look up
if this guy's actually a good offensive
coordinator, that's when you realize he actually was not a bad hire?
Oh, that's interesting.
Do your research, maybe.
Another thing that's come out about Luke
Getzey since we've hired him is that it was
Davante Adams, that I speculated, that was pounding the drum for him.
This is what Davante Adams had to say.
This is Sports Illustrated.
Got quotes from Davante Adams about Luke Getze when we hired him.
I was really excited, Adams said.
That was a good feeling.
Oop, I have an ad popping up on my phone.
That was a good feeling knowing it was a guy who I've worked with.
I know how he works.
I know how his mind works.
We have had success together, so it's definitely exciting.
Adams went on to add, what Getze will bring.
Here's the quote.
Innovation.
The type of coach that is open-minded
and is going to hear things from veteran players
who know how things work and the best way to do things.
It's a lot different.
The open-mindedness and the innovation to the offense,
a good run-pass balance.
That is the coach I'm used to, that West Coast style.
And it will be fun getting to work on new systems
and things that we are familiar with,
with me and the guys.
Hello! Relax before you make your statements.
This is the moral of the story. I, myself,
was not a fan of Jaden Daniels,
but if you couple him with the right weapons and the
right coordinator, and knowing that AP will be our coach,
and he's coached him before
like he's coached a Jack Jones before,
and gets the best out of his former players, then
Then you start to see the pieces.
connecting. Here's the thing, though.
For Luke Getze to be 100% successful with the Raiders this
season coming up, we need an absolute banger of a running attack.
Now, he's been able to
manufacture some very good running attacks
with not the best running backs. I mean, he's got solid
running backs in Chicago,
and he's got the best running quarterback in the league, Lamar
Jackson. But there's reports now that we want
to bring Josh Jacobs back depending on the price.
Now, he didn't have the best season,
although the second half was way better than the first half.
He just got hurt down the end of the road, and his market
value has decreased since he's led the league in rushing.
So will that help us? Yes. Will that hurt him? Maybe.
He's going to make a lot of money either way.
If we are able to retain him,
which is something that Telesco seems to want...
I think we really have a chance to do something special offensively,
couple it with some new pieces on defense, another offensive lineman.
We can have this team rocking and rolling,
and it will come down to, can Luke get C?
Tom Telesco and Antonio Pierce,
get the quarterback position correct and get this guy rocking
and rolling.
Because if they bring Jacobs back,
and if Devontae's right about Getze, and if we trade
up and draft a Jaden Daniels, or if a Bo Nix falls to us,
or if we sign a Kirk Cousins,
no matter what we do with the quarterback position,
if we can get that guy making the
right reads and putting the ball where it needs to be,
we're going to be A-OK.
Super Bowl is soon.
You know, I feel like
People are like, oh, should I root for the Chiefs
or should I root for the 49ers?
I don't know.
What the hell are you talking about?
You're considering rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs?
Do you want for the rest of your life
the debate to be Brady versus Mahomes?
You really want to hear Mahomes every time you turn on ESPN?
Because if he wins a third Super Bowl
in six years or whatever it's been,
he will never leave our minds for as long as we live.
In what universe, I don't care if you grew up
in the heart of San Francisco,
in what universe are you not rooting for the 49ers to win this game?
It's the Kansas City Chiefs.
Unless you're Max Crosby who says,
I'm selfishly rooting for the Chiefs
so we can be the ones to take them down.
No one watching this video is feeling that way.
I'm not feeling that way.
Hell no.
I want to see the 49ers beat them 100 to nothing,
and I want to see Travis Kelsey retire and Andy Reid get fired.
That's not going to happen.
Neither of them will.
But I would like to see it.
So, for everyone thinking about rooting for the Chiefs,
I respect it, but I hate it, and no thank you.
With that being said, thank you so much for watching.
