Forget about weather almost.
I know, because the weather has just been rolling straight dry
for the last two plus weeks, two and a half weeks.
And it's going to come to an end as we get closer.
But today is the pick of the week.
We have the sunshine.
It's already warm outside right now.
Starting out our door.
And, you know, we are looking at a little patchy fog
and spotty spots around Long Island.
And the temperature is, we're well above average.
Our typical average low is around 43 degrees.
We are well above that this morning.
58 Montauk, 53 right now in Bayshore.
Some 40s around the Pine Barrens right now,
54 degrees as we go over towards Smithtown.
So this morning, Smithtown, 51, mild and dry,
mostly sunny, warm this afternoon at 70 degrees.
Not a record high, but we are looking
at some very warm weather out there this morning.
Some pockets of patchy fog here this morning,
especially through areas of Suffolk County.
Then, here we go, it comes to an end.
We have some rain showers developing
Thursday afternoon, some light showers.
Not everyone's going to get wet.
And then overnight Thursday into Friday morning.
The best spot of getting wet is Friday morning.
You'll see this on and off rain kind of moving on through.
There may be some breaks during the midday on Friday,
then some more rain coming in as we get towards the evening hours.
And then by the weekend, we'll start to dry things out.
There is going to be potential of some quick, heavier downpours
where we could see one to two inches of rain
with those bands of rain on your Friday morning.
And even a thunderstorm is possible.
60s to low 70s today.
We do have the warm weather conditions.
50s for tonight.
And then you can see warm weather tomorrow as well.
And going through that 10-day forecast,
we're going to be watching the rain on Friday.
Storm Wrangler 12, watching another day
with beautiful weather conditions.
