Iranian MP Kamaran Aznafri said the country already possesses nuclear weapons that could be used against Israel and the United States in a new war. This was reported by the Didban Iran news agency. "It's safe to assume we've already reached that point. If the US and Israel threaten to use nuclear weapons against us, they should know we'll respond in kind and use similar weapons against them," Aznafri said. He added that Iran had long ago developed intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of striking targets in the most remote regions of the world, including Europe and the United States. Aznafri warned European countries that they should consider not only the economic consequences of closing the Strait of Hormuz but also the possibility of Iran conducting military operations on their territory.

Earlier, media reported that US President Donald Trump stated that the American military is capable of striking Iran's Pickax Mountain nuclear facility in less than an hour. He also expressed confidence that Tehran is interested in a deal. Trump also emphasized that Washington will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
