A typical November morning.
This isn't too bad, but we've been so spoiled.
It does definitely feel like a chill. It got chilly yesterday
in a bit of a hurry when that front came through.
And yes, we're waking up in the 40s and the occasional 50 this morning.
And there's just not much chance to warm up.
It is pretty cloudy right now. There are some widely scattered showers
and that low will continue to spin around
and send us a few of those showers off and on throughout the day today.
And then as it moves out, it kind of develops more of a cold front
and that drops through and gives us a reinforced
We'll
be
right
back.
And that's when the wind shifts more to the north.
That brings in that cooler air for tonight and into our Friday morning.
Might still have a few lingering showers early Friday,
but then it's back into at least partly sunny skies.
I think at most we pick up another few one hundredths of an inch,
maybe a tenth of an inch if you get one or two sprinkles
throughout the course of the day today.
Now numbers, like I said, they don't move much.
We're upper 40s near 50 now. We'll be in the low 50s this afternoon.
Then we do drop down into the upper 30s, mid 30s
for the metro areas with some low 30s for the well inland spots.
So definitely more of a chill in the air tomorrow morning
with a forecast high of 54 and a forecast low of 36.
We're pretty much right there with the climate normals for the period.
Not going to break any records. 1978 hit 73 degrees.
Happy to not break that one.
Look at the record low from 1951, just 5 degrees.
Ouch.
All right, now we are going to get a bit of a chill November-wise
as we get into the next couple of days,
even a couple of slightly below average days, but just a couple.
Then we start warming back up again later Saturday into Sunday.
And Monday, that warmer air starts to take over again.
And right now, it looks like that above average trend
continues for the entirety of the lower 48.
Right on into mid-month and beyond.
So our Fox 6 Day Planner, 54 today with some scattered showers.
Down into the 30s tonight, and that'll be a chillier start for Friday.
We'll get to 48 on Friday.
It's an actual below-average day,
but then we start our comeback, 50 on Saturday
with sunny skies, sunny and 56 by Sunday.
Into the low 60s again by Monday and Tuesday.
We're back to wake up in just a couple minutes.
