Before Noah, there was Atrahasis, an ancient Mesopotamian flood survivor whose story reveals a disturbing account of the gods conspiring to destroy humanity.
In Part 2 of our Pre-Flood Deities series, we examine Enlil's attempts to reduce the human population, Enki's secret warning, and the Great Flood that brought an earlier world to an end. But the deeper mystery lies in the ark itself. Was it simply a vessel of survival, or did it symbolize the preservation of life through a cosmic reset?
Through Gnostic and syncretic interpretation, we explore the connections between Atrahasis, the Garden of Eden, ancient cosmology, the destruction of a lost civilization, and the spiritual symbolism hidden within the flood narrative. From the sealed vessel and its sevenfold symbolism to the new order established after the catastrophe, this episode challenges the conventional understanding of Noah's Ark.

In the Atrahasis epoch, humanity becomes so numerous
and noisy that the god Enlil determines to destroy human beings.
Earlier attempts to reduce humanity through plague
and famine fail because the god Enki repeatedly assists humanity.
Enlil finally decides upon a devastating flood
and binds the god to secrecy.
I want to stop for a minute and just talk about that,
the concept of secrecy.
What is the secret?
The secret is a depopulation agenda
and hiding the true nature of our reality.
Treating us like cattle on a farm where you have
to have a control number and a control population.
So understand that we're seeing now the concept
of the secret society to the secret orders.
These gods are earthly authorities that are playing God.
Because the true god told us to be fruitful,
and these gods are all about depopulation.
But as you read on in the epic,
it says that Enki finds a way around the prohibition.
Rather than openly announcing the secret,
he addresses Atrahasis through a reed wall,
warning him to abandon his possessions, save his life and build a boat.
The vessel is to be strongly constructed.
Sealed with pitch and completely roofed
so that the sunlight cannot enter it.
Atrahasis is instructed to bring aboard the seed of living things,
and surviving portions of the
epic also refer to animals being placed aboard.
When the appointed time arrives, Atrahasis boards
and the boat is released.
The storm becomes so violent that darkness covers the world
and people cannot even see one another.
The flood destroys humanity outside the vessel.
Even the gods become distressed by the destruction.
And the loss of humanity means the gods
no longer receive human offerings.
Atrahasis survives.
After the catastrophe, sacrifice resumes and the gods establish a
new arrangement for humanity,
designed to prevent uncontrolled population growth,
including mortality and restrictions on childbirth.
So there's something significant about this violent storm
and the darkness that follows it.
The storm becomes so severe
that people can't even recognize one another,
and the world is plunged into darkness.
And remember, this isn't exclusive to Atrahasis.
In the early Sumerian story of Ziusudra,
violent winds and storms sweep across the land for seven
days and seven nights,
tossing the vessel upon the waters until the sun finally reappears.
Now think about the Truman Show.
Remember the scene where Truman attempts to escape
his artificial world by sailing across the water?
And what does Kristoff, the lesser creator controlling that world do?
He unleashes a violent storm against Truman's boat
and even orders the lights turned off,
plunging his world into darkness.
We're seeing the same combination of symbols.
A vessel, a violent storm, darkness, a controlling authority.
and a struggle between destruction and liberation
and this is why i believe we need to pay closer
attention to the occult
and esoteric symbolism appearing throughout hollywood many of the
concepts we see in modern films they're
not original they draw upon ancient spiritual
themes involving creation destruction
death rebirth captivity and liberation
And I believe these stories resonate
so deeply with humanity because they reflect spiritual
and cosmological concepts that have been preserved across generations.
And when I say that these ideas are embedded in our DNA, I'm speaking
about that deep connection to our inherited human experience.
The filmmakers may present
these concepts through fictional characters in modern settings,
but the underlying symbolism is much older.
In the Truman Show, the storm is not simply bad weather,
it's a weapon used by the ruler of an artificial world
to prevent someone from escaping the reality
constructed around them.
And when I examine Atrahasis through the same symbolic framework,
The storm becomes more than a physical catastrophe.
It can represent the destruction of an established order,
the interruption of human consciousness,
and the conditions surrounding a spiritual reset.
And there's another connection to this darkness
that I want to bring into the discussion.
Researchers exploring Tartarian reset theories frequently examine
the possibility of civilizations
being destroyed, buried, or replaced following major catastrophes.
And there's a documented
historical event that makes this discussion particularly interesting.
In the year 536 CE,
Historical accounts describe a period
when sunlight became unusually dim.
The Byzantine historian Procopius described
the sun shining without its normal brightness,
almost like the moon.
Modern research has connected this period of reduced
sunlight to volcanic activity,
with consequences for climate and agriculture.
Others theorize of some sort of nuclear war
or catastrophic war event that took place.
This period is sometimes described as the year without a sun.
The proposed explanation
involves a massive atmospheric veil
that obscured the sun for an extended period.
This is interesting because another synonym for ether
or enclosure or dome firmament is
the veil. So here's another reset moment that could
be referring to a recreation of the earth,
a new version of earth being born from a cataclysm.
Now there are some Tartarian theories that propose
that an advanced ancient civilization was destroyed during
a great conflict with an emerging ruling power.
One that replaced an older spiritual order with a more materialistic
and authoritarian system.
In that theory, the forces responsible
for the ancient destruction eventually became
the foundations of the modern systems of control,
including organized religion.
And this brings us back to the Truman Show,
where materialism was another tool
used to reinforce the illusion.
While Truman began questioning his reality,
The people around him continued following a predetermined script,
even promoting commercial
products and material possessions
to maintain the artificial world around him.
As long as Truman followed that script,
his behavior remained predictable and controllable.
But his liberation began internally
when he started questioning the reality everyone else
was reinforcing.
That inward awakening eventually led
to his external escape from the system.
And that's the connection I'm making between materialism,
spiritual control,
and liberation. A system that keeps people focused
on external distractions can prevent
them from discovering the truth within themselves.
Within this interpretation,
the darkness represents more than a natural catastrophe.
It symbolizes a reset in which
an older civilization
and its spiritual knowledge are displaced by a new ruling order.
But there's another detail in Atrahasis
that I find even more revealing.
After humanity is destroyed,
the gods become distressed because they're no longer receiving
human offerings.
Think about the implications of that statement.
These gods depended upon humanity for offerings.
And in the broader Atrahasis narrative,
human beings were originally created to relieve
the gods of their labor.
So we're dealing with the relationship
in which humanity served the gods,
performed their work, and supplied their offerings.
Now here's where my spiritual
interpretation comes in.
I don't automatically interpret that labor as modern employment
or humanity being nothing more than slaves.
In my interpretation, these gods can represent
our ancestors and the ancient spiritual intelligences associated
with humanity's origins.
whose knowledge and spiritual legacy continue through us.
Just as we inherit our ancestors' DNA,
I believe we also carry a deeper ancestral connection
to their spiritual understanding.
The younger generations inherited responsibility
as the elders stepped away from their work,
but I'm talking about a spiritual civilization where
that work could have involved preserving
ancient knowledge, maintaining spiritual practices,
and continuing the teachings of
previous generations.
And the fact that labor is mentioned before offerings is significant
because those offerings could symbolically represent
the fruits of that labor.
What each generation produced
and contributed to the ancestors who came before them.
This also brings us to how we understand the words gods
and human beings.
Ancient spiritual traditions often
describe humanity through divine origins,
spiritual identities, and relationships with higher realms.
But today, science classifies
us biologically as mammals within the animal kingdom.
And that's an important distinction.
Because biological classification doesn't necessarily define
our spiritual identity.
In my interpretation,
the original concept of humanity was much closer to gods and goddesses,
spiritual beings whose identity involved consciousness,
self-control, and sovereignty rather
than merely possessing a physical body.
And consider the language we still use today.
When someone behaves without compassion or morality,
we call their actions inhumane or say they've lost their humanity.
Yet biologically,
they're still human.
So clearly, the word humanity carries a moral meaning that goes
beyond our physical classification.
Our humanity is directly tied to our spiritual nature.
As spirits having a human experience,
not as humans having a spiritual experience.
I interpret Adam and Eve through that same spiritual framework,
not simply as the first biological humans,
but as representations of divine beings
whose relationship with the spiritual realm
was altered through the fall.
And this brings us back to the Matrix.
The characters experience themselves as physical
beings inside a simulated reality,
while their identities within that world are represented
through computer code.
In my interpretation, we're spiritual consciousness operating through
physical forms, almost like ghosts in a machine,
with DNA and frequencies serving as symbolic
parallels to the codes defining those individual identities.
So when I speak of humanity being demoted.
I'm talking about a change in how we understand ourselves
from spiritual sovereign beings to
identities defined primarily by the physical world
and external authorities. Humans basically fell
into the animal kingdom
when we lost the spirituality that we once had that made us gods.
Once they corrupted everybody
and got everybody to behaving like animals, we were classified as such.
We often hear about humans making sacrifices to the gods
and continuing the labor of the gods.
I gave my theory. I believe there was a time where
the word gods referred to our ancestors.
However, there are lesser gods and greater gods,
so every time we hear the word, we shouldn't
assume good or bad. We always gotta look at the context.
I have another crazy theory that humans
created genetically modified beings as slaves
and eventually these beings made us slaves
and that will explain how we were serving the gods with our labor.
So one way you can look at
it as our ancestors,
one way you can look at it as these artificial humanoids that took over
who used to be our slaves and now we're their slaves.
It's kind of like what's going to happen
What happened with AI?
We're creating AI to be our slaves,
but over a certain amount of time, we will eventually
be AI slaves.
So we hear about humans being slaves to some gods,
and you can look at that as both ways,
and both can be true.
It can be true that we served our ancestors,
and then when we lost power, we began to serve
the enemy.
Now think about this. If human beings
are still making offerings to gods today through organized
religion, then I believe we need to examine
the spiritual relationship those offerings represent.
Connecting with these ancestral spiritual
intelligences means recovering the spiritual
knowledge, ancestral understanding,
and inward practices preserved in the older traditions.
But I believe that relationship was disrupted
when spiritual teachings were increasingly
reduced to literal religious narratives
and external forms of worship. And this
is where my theory of the underworld gods
and the simulated matrix comes into play.
I interpret these false gods as part of a collective system of control,
a hive mind that keeps human consciousness
directed outward toward external authorities,
religious institutions,
and physical objects rather than inward toward spiritual liberation.
And offerings aren't limited to sacrifices placed upon an altar.
They can also represent the attention, devotion,
Obedience and spiritual energy humanity
continually directs toward the powers
believed to govern our existence.
And this is why we're going so deeply into these ancient concepts.
My argument is that the original spiritual teachings directed humanity
inward toward self-knowledge and spiritual sovereignty,
but by replacing that inward understanding
with literal religious interpretations,
People could be redirected toward
external authorities and made dependent
upon the very systems claiming to provide their salvation.
And this is where the Tartarian Reset Theory connects
with my interpretation of the spiritual
inversion. If an emerging power sought
to replace an older spiritual civilization,
controlling its history
and redefining its spiritual concepts would help establish
authority over the generations that follow.
Instead of people reconnecting with their ancestors and
discovering their own spiritual nature,
they could be taught to depend on institutions.
Religious intermediaries
and external authorities to tell them who they are
and how to obtain salvation.
In my interpretation, that is the motive behind the inversions.
Control through spiritual dependency rather than
liberation through spiritual understanding.
Now, Atrahasis survives the great flood, sacrifices resume,
but the gods establish a new arrangement
for humanity, introducing mortality,
restrictions on childbirth, and measures designed to prevent
uncontrolled population growth.
And this is where we need to understand something important.
Every time we encounter the word gods in these ancient concepts,
we're not necessarily talking
about the same beings.
In my interpretation,
there's a distinction between the original gods, the higher spiritual
intelligences associated with our ancestors,
and the lesser gods or demigods who assume divine
authority over the underworld.
And I associate these false gods who claim an authority that
doesn't rightfully belong to them with what
the Bible refers to as the synagogue of Satan.
Now look at what happens after the catastrophe.
The world enters a new arrangement involving
population control, restrictions on childbirth,
and limitations on human life. And when I examine
the world we're living in today,
I see striking parallels with modern discussions surrounding
depopulation agendas, declining birth rates,
smaller families, and the growing influence
of governing authorities over reproduction.
Think about the contrast with Genesis 1 and 28,
where humanity is instructed to be fruitful,
multiply, and replenish the earth. In the original arrangement,
humanity is encouraged to reproduce and expand,
but in this new arrangement,
the emphasis shifts toward restricting population growth.
And when we look at previous generations,
families and households were often much
larger than they are today.
In my interpretation, that raises an important question about whether
the conditions of modern society are continuing
the same restrictive pattern described in Atrahasis.
And I believe the same principle applies to mortality.
We're taught to accept aging, sickness,
and death as natural conditions of human existence.
But in my spiritual interpretation,
the original earth represented a higher realm of existence
where consciousness wasn't confined to the same limitations of time,
aging, and physical death.
And this connects directly with Adam and Eve.
In Genesis, the consequences of their fall is mortality.
So I interpret that fall as
humanity descending from a higher spiritual condition
into a lower realm governed by time,
Physical limitations and death.
Now, there's another important detail. After the catastrophe,
sacrifices resumed. Earlier,
we examined how offerings could represent the fruits of ancestral
labor, the continuation of spiritual knowledge,
and the contributions of younger generations to
the ancestors who came before them.
But under the new arrangement, I interpret sacrifice as
something that becomes increasingly literal,
involving blood, offerings,
Ritual obedience and the appeasement of external gods.
In other words, what I believe originally represented
a spiritual relationship between generations was transformed
into a religious system where people were conditioned
to sacrifice to authorities outside themselves.
And this is where the distinction between the original gods
and the lesser gods becomes
especially important. Because in my interpretation,
the powers establishing this new arrangement are
not necessarily the same spiritual intelligences associated
with humanity's original creation
and higher existence.
I believe we're looking at the aftermath of a spiritual takeover,
where an older and more advanced world was destroyed or displaced
And the surviving population inherited
a constructed reality governed by a different authority.
The original spiritual concepts were watered down,
literalized and stripped of their deeper meanings because
those meanings would have been counterproductive to the new system.
A population that understands its own divine nature,
spiritual sovereignty, and connection
to its ancestors than one conditioned
to depend upon external authorities for its salvation.
And that's how I interpret this new arrangement in Atrahasis.
The restrictions on reproduction,
the introduction of mortality, and the continuation of sacrifices
become symbols of a world rebuilt under lesser authorities,
where humanity is
taught to accept limitations that may
not have belonged to its original spiritual condition.
In my interpretation,
this is the difference between the original gods who represent our
higher spiritual origins and the false gods
who claim authority over the lower realm.
One represents humanity's spiritual sovereignty
while the other maintains control by keeping
humanity dependent upon the system.
S-I-S is equivalent to the name Zeus,
and when we say Ziusudra, the Z-I-U-S in front
of it is Zeus, and that these are essentially
the same archetype at either different times
and different cultures.
The more modern ones, of course, again, are literal interpretations.
But one thing I wanted to point out about the name Atrahasis.
We can see the name Jesus in Atrahasis.
Once you take the Atra off of it, you are left with Hasis
or Jesus. So the Hasis in Atrahasis
is equivalent to the modern name Jesus or Jesus.
Another interesting thing is that the first four letters
in the name Atra is a modern
derivation of the word Aether or Aether, Aether, which means fire.
In the story of Atrahasis,
he's told to abandon his possessions, similar to Christ.
Same thing with Noah.
And in my interpretation,
this is letting go of your lower natures and materialism and et cetera.
Now, when you break down the word Atrahasis from the Akkadian language,
the word Atra translates
to exceedingly or extra or most.
And Hasis in this language means wise or wisdom or clever. So
together they mean exceedingly wise.
In some translation, it also means he who remembers.
And I think that's interesting
because the wisdom aspect of these deities
It's something they acquired through an internal quest,
the inward quest, not the external quest
that got everyone looking for literal objects.
So it's more so of remembering something dormant
in our spirit that we lost.
Before it was recorded in Akkadian as Atrahasis,
an older variant of the same mythical hero
existed in Sumerian language under the name Ziusudra.
And that's why I went over Ziusudra
first. The name Ziusudra means he who saw life
and we already went over why Ziusudra saw life
because the earth realm is death. In the later epic of Gilgamesh,
The same character is referred to as Utnapishtim,
which means he who found life.
So these are the same characters,
and I'm just giving you guys the syncretism.
And with that being said, let's just move right on over to Utnapishtim.
