Did British Missiles Fail to Stop a UAP? Stockholm Event Report
Nov 6, 2026
What do you do when your missile can't stop what's
in the sky above your base?
British service members stationed in Germany faced exactly that,
according to an account shared on stage in Stockholm back in October.
A lot of the instances that they've had, such as orbs,
having munitions fired at them,
such as missiles that pass right through them.
That is the biggest thing that they've seen in Germany,
and that's what was reported to me.
Europe's official answer to encounters like
this has been absolute silence.
Jonathan Kaplan, a senior British lawyer, told the Stockholm audience
that European governments run no public UFO programs,
set aside no budget, and leave the subject to Washington, D.C.
Behind that silence, the closest intelligence partners
in the world are kind of talking again.
Actually, there's a caucus group of Five Eyes
that has met at the Pentagon recently,
and they've just resurrected a caucus group.
And that's to obviously generate more discussion about
the UAP problem amongst Five Eyes.
Five Eyes is the intelligence-shared alliance of the U.S.,
the U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Its UAP caucus first met at the Pentagon back in May of 2023,
opened by the Arrow director, Sean Kirkpatrick.
We just can't run away from Arrow, can we?
And it released emails that show the plan
was to share UAP data across all five nations
and hold regular meetings.
Then the group just went quiet.
Australia's Defence
department denied attending more than once
before admitting it had sent a representative.
New Zealand confirmed its attendance this year,
but withheld its internal report on the meeting
in full. Kaplan's claim is that the caucus is now active again
and that its goal is to
widen UAP discussion across the alliances.
Hey UFOlogists, I'm Cristina Gomez and this is your UFO News Update.
Kaplan described British ministries of defence
and Royal Navy as concerned and directly involved,
even with no public programme, no budget and no policy.
And here he gave an example.
I know a couple of cases recently of UFOs over London
or in the London area.
Helicopters are very quickly dispatched to circle
and chase these things off.
And so they're very aware of it.
It's just we don't have public programs, that's all.
He gave no dates and didn't say which agency flew the helicopters.
Jordan Flowers of the UAP Disclosure Foundation linked
this to a wider problem.
In his view, adversaries take advantage
of the confusion between UAP and drones
to fly over our own ISR platforms,
short for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
And these are places that are over Britain and other NATO allies.
He pointed to the incursions at the RAF Lincoln Heath in late 2024
and the drone sightings that halted flights
at the Belgian airports over a year ago.
Stockholm University astronomer Beatrice
Villarol studies brief flashes of light
called transients on photographic sky plates from the early 1950s.
And she addressed on the panel
while during the Stockholm conference is that
before any satellites were launched that they
were getting images of these strange things in
the sky. Her team's new modeling puts the objects between 25,000
and 42,000 kilometers above earth
and they're very small from a few centimeters up
to about three meters across
and they need flat surfaces to produce the flashes.
In the team's shape comparison,
a flat saucer model fit the data pretty well.
And she received two new details on this.
We also can see that there seems to be signs of maneuvering,
like an attitude change.
And this paper we have done together with someone
who works very high up
in one of the largest defense contractors
who has been helping us doing the calculations.
Defense contractors in Sweden or international ones?
An attitude change means the object turned to a new orientation,
the way a satellite rotates to
point a different way.
And Beatrice didn't name the contractor or whether it is Swedish or
international. The paper is on arXiv,
an online library for scientific papers, and is under peer
review right now. For background,
her 2025 report found far fewer of these flashes inside Earth's
at around 42,000 kilometers.
which points to reflected sunlight.
In March, retired NASA software developer Ivo
Busco independently found similar transients
consistent with flat rotating objects in orbit.
Critics continue to challenge the work,
and her team has published responses to those critiques.
But why would a major defense contractor help
model flat objects orbiting Earth before Sputnik?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Germany has been called a black hole for UAP information
because so little surfaces from German-speaking nations.
British personnel who reported these encounters had
also served in Germany,
and orbs absorbing weapons fire
were the biggest events that they ever saw.
A reporting system does exist.
The problem is where the reports end up.
But whoever in the intelligence is gathering that
are the ones that are keeping it and not moving forward.
John Blitch, a former army lieutenant during the Cold War,
added that the U.S. kept nuclear
weapons on German soil
and that threats to those weapons would not be disclosed in public.
And for background,
Germany logged a record number of UFO reports this year,
along with drone incursions over its military and energy sites,
though none of those drones were ever captured
or photographed and released to the public.
So were they really drones? You can decide that on your own.
But a British civil servant
who teaches strategy asked the panel to consider the worst case,
which she described as China announcing that contact is real
and taking the lead.
answered with a game theory model.
He describes the major powers are locked in a near perfect
balance of secrecy,
where nobody really wants to go first. The question is,
Why? Is there some kind of unspoken rule between all
of these very powerful nations to either
discuss or not discuss this topic?
But he said, just assume that there is a physical craft and
that reverse engineering is possible.
In that case, China would have kept 100 scientists
isolated for 30 years without Western human rights limits.
And it may have its own craft.
So might Russia. So might other countries.
Why are we all keeping this quiet?
And why is the U.S. in the limelight on this?
That may be what we are seeing, that something has rattled this. Maybe
a breakthrough has rattled this sort of perfect equilibrium of secrecy.
And that's why we need to take risks in terms of disclosing
this to the public so that we can actually work together
as let's just call it a Western culture to try and.
Before anyone takes bigger risks,
we can start with a smaller one.
And let's stop saying, oh, my source told me this,
or someone at an alphabet agency told me that.
A title with no name and nothing to check is not evidence.
It only tells us that the speaker knows someone allegedly important
or a straw man, and we do not.
And let me just tell you, I'm over it.
Flowers sees that as a possible reason
for the recent push toward disclosure.
He called every option a non-zero risk, meaning no choice is safe.
And even so, he believes informing the public would let Western nations
at least work together before a rival gets there first.
So really, we got to get over these risks
and just jump into the deep end of the water.
Police officers and firefighters may soon carry cards
showing what non-human craft and beings look like.
John Blinch revealed that he is a guest lecturer
in a new UAP course led by Dr. Keith Taylor,
built to prepare first responders for exactly that kind of encounter.
And John is now designing a deck of cards for those officers,
with each card showing a different type of craft or being.
The goal is that an officer
who arrives at the scene has seen it before,
even if only on a card,
that he's not left there all shocked and maybe even scared.
The public is not waiting for permission though.
One of the Swedish panelists described reaching out
to journalists after journalists in Sweden
and hearing almost nothing back.
Witnesses are going around that silence
and we are beginning to see in the last year or
two years that universities
and funded institutions are starting to collect these UFO accounts
and even provide UFO courses to certain universities,
at least in the United States.
are stepping forward while their governments are staying quiet.
Should European governments have to open
their files the way the U.S. has started to?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
And in August, I covered Germany's record surge in UFO reports
and the drone incursions over its bases and energy sites.
So watch this video next.
I'm Cristina Gomez. That is it for today.
I will see you again next time for another UFO News update.
Be safe and remember, keep your eyes on the skies.
