A teenager who disappeared from Kirkland has now spent
her 16th birthday away from home.
Francisca Hunter's parents say she is medically vulnerable
and has been without her prescribed medication
since she went missing October 26th.
Her family calls her Franny.
She was 15 when she was last seen around 8
p.m. in Kirkland's Totem Lake neighborhood
where she left a treatment facility
with little more than the clothes she was wearing.
She had no phone and no money.
My wife and I along with a big group
of friends have spent the past week searching throughout
the region from Bellingham to Tacoma, visiting shelters,
transit stations, homeless encampments,
but so far we haven't had any leads.
They say she may be using the name Angelina Dillon
and telling people she's 18.
Her parents say she had previously talked about going
to Sacramento, California.
They don't know whether she headed there
and her mom has this message for her.
She's loved, Frannie, you're very loved.
We wanna know that you're okay.
We want to help you.
There's so many people that cares immensely about you and
Of course, you're not in any kind of trouble.
So if you see Frannie Hunter,
please call 911 or Kirkland police immediately.
