Mercer scores his first goal for Winnipeg in Jets' 6-2 victory over Canucks

Alex Iafallo, that's Mercer, pardon me, he'll turn against Linus Carlsen. Mercer, flurry at the blue line. He'll shoot a tip, score! They get tipping pucks, you saw it right there. So the Jets get the start they want. Barron, can he follow up in his terrific third period in overtime? And they score! And Keflon Dole off the stick of Maryland, and just like that it's 2-0 Winnipeg. Been a while. Nice start. Victor Mancini. Redirected ahead by Jonathan Lekar-Mackie, who's having a pretty good start. Ogren shoots, scores! First shot of the game for the Canucks, and Liam Ogren cuts the deficit in half, it's 2-1. It's Ogren's fourth goal in five games, and... Making some neat moves, hangs onto the net, Perfetti! Oh, he went flying through the air like Bobby Orr, just couldn't finish it, but a great set of moves before the chance. Here he is again, Perfetti sets it up, Mercer! Shoots and scores! opportunity with a beautiful toe drag in the left. The first line is on. Stolen away by Bjork. There you go, Bjork. Mark Scheifele. Kyle Conner. Stopped rebound for Scheifele.
