Five hundred years under a mountain. Iron pellets for food, molten copper for drink, and a golden seal on the summit written with a prayer. In Part 1, we decoded the Monkey King as the restless human mind. Now we decode his punishment, and it is not what it seems.

The Buddha could have ended Sun Wukong with a word. Instead He made him wait. This episode retells the wager lost inside the Buddha's palm, the mountain that was once five fingers, and the day a helpless monk climbed up and set the wild mind free. Then the journey itself becomes the teaching: six robbers named for the six senses, Lady White Bone wearing the face of innocence three times, and Red Boy, whose fire could be beaten by no weapon, only ended by mercy. The demons were never outside.

Next episode: The Only Man Who Dared Speak to Stalin About God. In an empire that had outlawed Heaven, one voice still spoke of it out loud.
