Leonardo da Vinci is widely regarded as the ultimate Renaissance polymath. His interests ranged from botany to the design of musical instruments. By all accounts, he was a man of many passions, and that may be why he never brought most of his ideas to life: there were simply too many of them. Over his entire life he completed only about 20 paintings, and that number includes works whose attribution is disputed.

In this video, you can see all of Leonardo da Vinci’s finished and unfinished paintings, as well as works of disputed authorship and copies of lost originals. You’ll also find several of his most famous drawings, including the Vitruvian Man.
