Meteorologist Jared Piepenberg on this Sunday morning waking up
to some bright sky out there. If you're watching this later in the day,
it's probably just a little breeze out of the northwest.
It's not going to be perfectly calm,
but we're in for a pretty solid one out there.
We'll have some 40s up north and some more 50s, but this morning.
Pretty mild from north to south is what I would say.
Just a little wind overnight kept temperatures pretty warm
for the most part for this late in the season.
Nothing to show you here on StormVision radar
and most of this forecast looking pretty dry and quiet.
Futurecast wind gusts today topping off in those maybe some mid
and upper teens at times there may be a gust up to 20 or so.
So enough to notice deer hunters out there just sitting out
in the open. You may just notice a little bit of that wind today
so it won't be perfectly calm. By the later part of the afternoon
into the evening winds will start to settle down. So
There's been a breeze this morning. It lasts to about early afternoon
or so, and then we'll start to feel those winds backing off.
Tomorrow, not a big wind day, but winds are going to switch
from the northwest today to the south and southwest.
Warmer wind direction on Monday.
We're going to feel that across the board.
Should be a pretty solid one for tomorrow.
Today, though, still pretty mild.
Averages are in those mid 40s and we're up to 54 in the Twin Cities.
Just a little breezy out of the northwest,
but pretty easy close to the weekend.
Now, if you're tuned in for northern Minnesota,
maybe closer to average or just barely above.
We're 50s. We'll start from around Brainerd and southward.
Plenty of sunshine out there today.
Overnight tonight, mainly 30s outside of the Twin Cities.
I think the Twin Cities suburbs will probably have
that urban heat island effect out there.
Only dipping down close to 40, but it's going to be crisp out there
for some folks, but closer to average depending on where we're at.
Your Monday forecast up to 62,
generally mild just with some morning clouds breaking.
Someone's moving the camera while I'm doing this here. Southwest winds
at 5 to 15 out there and then your Monday forecast lower 50s up north.
to some 60s down south, and tomorrow's looking
to be the warmest day of the whole forecast.
I'm seeing clouds out there in the morning for your Monday,
and then those clouds will start to break up,
leading to plenty of sunshine as we finish out the day.
But again, mildest day of the forecast.
Not much in terms of precipitation out here.
Nice one on Tuesday, mid-50s.
Seeing us dip down into those upper 40s,
some of us may sneak up to 50 on Wednesday,
but I think we'll stay in the 40s for the most part.
Our dip in the forecast is Thursday and Friday.
We'll likely have some colder mornings and daytime highs.
We'll probably be just shy of what our averages are now, 46.
So just planning on the end of the work
week being a little cooler weather
and then getting back up closer to average.
I think we'll climb out of that short-lived cooler snap there
as we head into next weekend.
