How can doctors participate in one of the world's most horrifying human rights abuses? A new report reveals how the Chinese Communist Party controls China's medical system, creating a system where loyalty to the Party can matter more than the lives of patients. We look at the allegations of forced organ harvesting and why doctors may be afraid to speak out.

This video discusses the systemic issue of forced organ harvesting in China, alleging that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) targets prisoners of conscience, such as Falun Gong practitioners and Uyghurs. It explores how the state-controlled medical system and political oaths replace medical ethics, creating a perverse incentive structure that enables these human rights abuses.
In most of the world, your doctors swear an oath to protect you.
In China, doctors swear a different oath.
Welcome to China Uncensored, I'm Chris Chappell.
Oh good, another body horror episode.
Strange how that always comes up when talking about communist regimes.
Man, their Halloween decorations do go hard.
As such, this episode won't do well
with our benevolent CCP-loving overlords at YouTube and Google.
So consider heading over to ChinaUncensored.tv to support us
and get all the stories we can't put on YouTube.
Doctor, doctor, give me the news.
I got a bad case of harvesting your organs.
Sure, that didn't rhyme, but you try being poetic
when your spleen's getting sliced out.
In China, just because your social credit score is down
Hello, China. This is Jiaoxi.
This is your first interview.
doesn't mean you aren't a valuable member of society.
Do you know how much your organs are worth?
The Chinese Communist Party does,
which is why it has built a vast network of hospitals
specializing in organ transplants.
This sounds like what would happen
if somebody wished for universal health care
on a monkey's paw.
They even have express lines in Xinjiang airports,
so you can get your totally ethically sourced organs more quickly.
60 to 100,000 organs are transplanted each year in Chinese hospitals.
At least that was the number in 2019.
And where are those organs coming from?
The organ fairy?
Ugh, I'd imagine they'd leave a giant blood stain on your pillowcase.
Well, in 2010, China's official number
of voluntary organ donors was 34 people.
But by 2018, it had officially gone up to 6,000.
Kind of a big gap in numbers there.
So, where are those organs coming from?
Do people suddenly get generous and think,
what do I need two lungs for?
Well, in 2020, the China Tribunal,
an independent, unofficial, non-governmental group
led by Sir Geoffrey Nice,
which sounds like a Mr. Rogers puppet,
the same guy who oversaw the war crimes trial
of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic,
ruled beyond a reasonable doubt
that China was harvesting organs
from prisoners of conscience,
primarily from Falun Gong practitioners and Uyghurs.
Of course, the nightmare of human organ harvesting in China.
was really bad for China's image.
So bad, in fact, that these were the consequences it faced.
Wow, it's almost like the message isn't getting out there.
Have I mentioned recently that if you do a search for China on YouTube,
you'll get results for hundreds of pro-China videos,
like the wonders of China, China is the future,
but China Uncensored is nowhere to be found
in the first several hundred search results?
Again, it's ChinaUncensored.tv.

Today, China claims to have over 7.3 million voluntary,
emphasis voluntary, organ donors.
Source?
Trust us.
Pinky promise.
Who's Pinky?
Shut up.
But all this raises a very interesting question.
I think it's abundantly clear the Chinese Communist Party
is killing innocent people for their organs.
But how come all the doctors are going along with it?
What about the Hippocratic Oath?
Do no harm.
Well,
Funny story, that's not the oath that doctors swear in China.
Medical students swear an oath that says,
they'll love my motherland and remain loyal to the people.
So less funny story and more, ah, story.
So when they say the people, the people mean the Communist Party.
Seriously, that's how they describe it.
Here, the people are put together with the party.
Because for the Communist Party of China,
the country is its people,
and the people are the country.
Don't like the party?
Then you're not a people.
And that's how you get your organs harvested.
That sounds like the communist remake of The Substance.
But there's actually another oath
a Chinese doctor has to swear if they want to become
a Communist Party member,
which is essential to rise up in Chinese Communist Party society.
It's the CCP admission oath.
Here's how China explains this to us simple Westerners.
Just as the groom and bride need to swear an oath at the wedding
to reaffirm their love and commitment for life,
A candidate member of the Communist Party of China
needs to swear an oath in front of the party flag.
Excuse me, they're comparing it to marriage?
That is some Stockholm Syndrome stuff right there.
In this oath, a Chinese doctor would have to swear to
carry out the Party's decisions,
strictly observe Party discipline,
protect Party secrets,
be loyal to the Party,
work hard,
fight for Communism the rest of my life,
always be prepared to sacrifice my all for the Party and the people,
and never betray the Party.
And if you break that oath, oh boy,
you don't want to break that oath.
Diesel is expensive, but nightmare fuel is free.
And so what you have in China is a perverse incentive structure
that makes organ harvesting possible.
It's brainwashing, which is what they literally
do after harvesting brains.
This new report by the International Coalition
to End Transplant Abuse in China lays it all out.
And it's a horrifying lesson about the dangers
of the state having control over the medical industry.
One doctor they interviewed said,
we had a CCP branch and secretary at our hospital.
And in that system, the secretary outranked the hospital head.
In mainland China, that's how things work.
That's actually even how it works in government.
In a province, you'll have a governor
and the Communist Party secretary,
and the Communist Party secretary outranks the governor.
The party is always first.
Every hotel in China has a governor's chair
so they can watch when the secretary shows up.
The same goes for China's main national medical bodies.
They're not independent, they're state-run.
The Chinese Medical Association's president
and all 15 vice presidents appointed in 2021?
All CCP members.
16 for 16.
It's not a medical association,
that's a party branch meeting with stethoscopes.
And because of the political nature of the whole medical industry,
there's a lot of conflict of interest.
The individuals formerly responsible
for providing allegedly independent,
ethical oversight of transplant activity
are the same people who manage the hospital's operations
and ensure its political alignment with the CCP.
And, of course, as party members,
and in some cases senior cadres within the hospital,
they are bound by the CCP's requirements of loyalty and secrecy.
Loyalty and secrecy?
They sound less like doctors and more like an NBA player's side piece.
In other words, the entire hospital system
is completely controlled by the Communist Party.
And that includes the entire system for organ transplants,
from getting the organs to the actual surgery.
By the way, fun fact.
In Chinese political jargon,
the party's institutions are literally called party organs,
which in this context is deeply unfortunate.
So imagine you're a doctor in China.
You catch wind that your hospital has
been killing prisoners of conscience for their organs.
What do you do?
You can't go to the head of the hospital,
because he's either subservient to the party secretary,
or, most likely, in on it himself.
Do you talk to your fellow doctors?
Well, they're probably also party members.
Medical ethics committees?
Well, state-run.
The media?
State-run, too.
And at any point you talk to the wrong guy?
Well...
Or, you keep quiet and make money.
It's like China read I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
and thought, now that's how you run a medical system.
At the same time, participation—performing the surgeries,
managing the procurement,
certifying the paperwork—carries an opposite set of incentives.
Career advancement, inclusion in the professional elite,
and financial reward from a transplant sector
that is operated at enormous scale.
I'd say it's a heartless system, but they have plenty of hearts.
Happy early Valentine's Day.
The report cites a study on Chinese medical professionals where
58% of surveyed medical practitioners stated they had
to compromise their ethics for practical reasons,
which contributed to high rates of depression reported by respondents.
Good thing they can just prescribe themselves antidepressants
and make those no-no thoughts go away.
Now, let's just for a moment pretend we
are absolutely cynical bastards.
Who cares if China is killing its own people for organs
and doctors cover it up?
It doesn't affect me.
Just show me happy China videos, YouTube.
I'm the type of idiot your advertisers love.
But actually, it does affect you.
Because this whole system of secretive state control
is why we got COVID.
First, it leaked from a shady Chinese bio lab.
And as people around China started getting sick,
Dr. Li Wenliang tried to warn some
of his colleagues about it on WeChat.
But the CCP caught wind.
He was summoned by police,
forced to sign a statement saying he was wrong,
everything was fine,
and was sent back to work like nothing ever happened.
And he died of COVID shortly after that.
He was 34.
When the CCP couldn't pretend anymore that there wasn't a virus,
China pushed the message that they had it contained.
A message no one could challenge.
You know the rest of the story.
Or maybe you don't.
Not just because you repressed it
as a defense mechanism trauma response.
Because while I've been trying to raise
the alarm about the CCP for 14 years,
YouTube has been trying to silence me.
They deleted some of my early COVID videos.
And even to this day, they're trying to make sure no one sees the show.
KaiserWolf wrote in and said,
YouTube is 100% screwing this channel over.
I've been subscribed to you for years,
yet I never see any of your videos pop up on my feed.
Up until today, I thought the channel was gone.
I watched a random video talking about the Mbappe backlash from China,
and it prompted me to look up this channel.
I was baffled that it doesn't even give you suggestions
when trying to type it in the search bar.
Good luck to you, brother,
and hopefully you can survive the shadow ban.
Thank you, Kaiser Wolf.
But it's been hard.
And it's often a struggle just to keep
the lights on because of the shadow ban.
The only reason this show has survived to this day
is because of what I call the China Uncensored 50 Cent Army.
