MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — Gan Jing World (GJW), an independent, family-safe video streaming and content sharing platform, announced that New York State Senator Jamaal T. Bailey has issued an official Senate proclamation honoring the #BeKindBeCool movement, timed to the campaign's global winners celebration in Times Square, New York City.

Senator Bailey, who represents the 36th Senate District covering parts of the Bronx and Mount Vernon, wrote that "in the course of the evolving development of the Empire State, there have emerged among its distinguished citizens certain organizations which warrant special recognition."
The proclamation congratulates the #BeKindBeCool campaign, "which has inspired over 34,000 acts of kindness from more than 200 countries and regions," and notes that "this movement has enriched schools, communities, and impacted millions online."

The proclamation frames the recognition as part of the Senate's practice of commending "the illustrious organizations of the State of New York, the focus and intent of which have made a substantial impact on the quality of life in their communities."
Senator Bailey concluded that "as a duly elected member of the New York State Senate, I hereby recognize that in Gan Jing World Corp's #BeKindBeCool Campaign we have a truly outstanding organization that is worthy of the esteem of both the community and the great State of New York, and further convey thanks for all the contributions."

Schools, families, community organizations, and content creators worldwide have embraced #BeKindBeCool to counter bullying and encourage positive online engagement. Winning videos and artwork from this year's awards were featured on a billboard in Times Square on July 30, 2026.
The proclamation adds Senator Bailey to a growing roster of officials recognizing the movement, which includes governors from New Jersey, Massachusetts, Tennessee, and Vermont, along with members of the New York State Senate and Assembly.
