The law enforcement veteran and InVest USA founder questions a new video, which has Mamdani literally fighting back against the system – in the worst way.

It seems with every new video New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani releases, trouble follows.

We were already getting past the fallout from his previous broadcast a few months ago, where he called for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for being a “war criminal.” But this week, he’s done it again, literally going up against ICE and telling illegal immigrants how they deserve to be protected.

In the video, produced entirely in Spanish language and posted a few days ago, Mamdani goes into detail about “what every New Yorker should know” when it comes to dealing with Immigration and customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who he personally believes are a threat to his city – despite their progress against violent illegal immigrants showing otherwise.

He notes how ICE agents “cannot enter private spaces like your home, school, hospitals or private areas of a workplace without a judicial warrant signed by a judge.” He also notes how these would-be targets can tell ICE agents to leave their property, and how they would not consent to entry if such a warrant wasn’t provided.

And you can tell how personal an attack this is later on in the video, when he explains that “These are very frightening times,” and how his administration is fighting back “every day to protect, support and celebrate” anyone that happens to be in the country illegally.

You read that correctly. A man who was sworn into office to take care of the citizens of New York City has spoken out about taking care of illegal immigrants that are in his country without documentation.

As expected, this has produced some backlash – and a potential argument of violating federal law.

One X user noted how “giving foreign invaders instructions on how to avoid law enforcement is a federal crime” – and even posting documentation to back up his argument.

And then there’s this user, who posted a tweet showing an earlier post from Mamdani, with him saying, “No one is above the law in our city…”

It goes further, with a post explaining how many innocent U.S. citizens were murderedby illegal immigrants; and a solid statement from this user, who makes a very solid point: “I personally find it utterly incomprehensible that in 2026, the Mayor of New York City is, in no unclear terms, literally publicly counseling folks who are here ILLEGALLY on how to sneak away and avoid the men and women of law enforcement who are trying to do nothing more than constitutionally remove them.”

Exactly. With this statement, Mamdani isn’t just speaking out in favor of violent illegal immigrants, he’s basically dictating how to fight back against the law itself.

That’s not entirely a surprise, considering how much Mamdani has already pushed back against police officers in the past. He’s called for them to be defunded so many times, and even though he’s since recanted that statement, I can’t help but feel the sentiment to do so is still very much there. And with his anti-ICE statements, some officers feel that Mamdani’s “dangerous words” and “inciting hostility” has created an unwinnable situation for the ones still serving on duty.

This comes back to a very big problem – Mamdani wants to be a mayor “of the people,” but he forgets what he needs in place to keep those people safe. His disregard of the law has reached a new low with this video, as he’s basically instructing citizens on how to fight back. But the problem is that could be twisted into letting them think they can get away with anything – and that creates an even bigger problem for the NYPD.

I’d like for Donald Trump to weigh in on this and maybe consider an investigation into Mamdani. There’s “helpful suggestion” and then there’s outright saying “I love illegal immigrants more than my own citizens and police officers.” And though he didn’t say it directly, that’s what Mamdani is suggesting.

Hey, Mr. Mayor, maybe actually be for all the people and not just the ones you feel are the most important to you? Just a thought.
