Unboxing The reMarkable Paper Pro Accessories

Hey everyone it's Andres and on this video I am unboxing the accessories for the Remarkable Paper Pro. The book folio is available in different materials and colors. There is premium leather which is what you see here in the brown color. There's also black. Now there's also a mosaic weave available. And then there's the most affordable of them all which is the polymer weave available in gray. I actually like every single one of these but I stuck with the brown one just because I guess keeping with the theme of my Remarkable 2 also having a brown folio. The brown is a little different. It's not exactly tan and there is something a little extra for the book folio. It has this flap that swings around to hold the pen in place so it won't fly off or fall off. I had that happen to me before with the Remarkable 2. Whenever I put it into my backpack and I would take it out and the pen's not there anymore because it got stuck or fell off because it's just magnetized to the side. All right so the next accessory I'm going to unbox is the type folio. The type folio is also available for the Remarkable 2 but as you can see in different sizes it's not the same typing keyboard so you got to get a whole new type folio which is a pretty expensive product. So the type folio is a $229 accessory. It's only available in one color. It feels more like one of those polymer weave ones and here's the instructions on how to place the tablet inside and also how to take out. So there's these magnetic pins all the way at the bottom that connect to the back of the Remarkable Pro. So once I connect the tablet the keyboard lights up which is a very welcome thing because I didn't know there was backlighting on this type folio which makes it even better to work at night but it's only available to put in one position for typing so you better like that position because you won't be able to do anything else with it but I must tell you this thing is pretty heavy. I didn't expect this type folio to be that heavy. And for the last accessory is the marker. I chose the marker plus. This is a $50 upgrade from the original marker which is $0 and the original marker comes in the color that matches the tablet. The marker plus only comes in black. Included with the marker plus are the marker tips very important and it's actually better organized than the previous generation because it came in this little jacket thingy and I would kind of lose it every now and then. And as I mentioned there is a book folio. Once you place the tablet inside it leaves room for that flap to flap around to hold on to the pen. That also applies to the type folio so you can keep your pen in place so you don't lose track of it. So I do like that little addition that separates what is the Remarkable Pro versus the Remarkable 2 and gives you peace of mind when you're carrying your products around.
