Good evening.
Tonight on Capitol Report, the FBI cracks down on a drone plot targeting the UFC event
at the White House.
And the DOJ is releasing the evidence, firearms, chat logs, multiple suspects, how many were
involved and what Vice President Vance is saying.
Investigate them until we can validate 100% that it's no longer a threat.
It was an active plot and it's ongoing.
President Trump at the G7 summit firing back at claims that the U.S. is investing in Iran
and he's floating a bold new move on the nuclear deal.
The full report from France tonight.
I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word by word so that the press
covers it accurately.
Voters casting ballots from Georgia to Washington, D.C. and the midterm battle is shifting.
How a Trump endorsement is on the line in Georgia and a Mamdani-style wild card is turning
heads here in D.C.
This is Capitol Report, live from our global headquarters in our nation's capital.
Here's Steve Lance.
I'm Jack Bradley, in for Steve Lance tonight.
The FBI says it has disrupted a plot to deploy drones and snipers targeting last weekend's
UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House.
It comes amid a string of threats against President Trump and senior officials.
NTD's White House correspondent Iris Tao has more.
The FBI has foiled a plan to attack the Sunday UFC fight on the White House South Lawn.
Five people are now in custody and investigators say they have identified 23 people in a possible
network of plotters.
Officials say the plan involved explosive-laden drones hitting nearby buildings, forcing a
mass evacuation toward a planned sniper team, then a second wave to storm the White House
gate.
Vice President J.D. Vance condemning the plot while urging people to tone down rhetoric,
encouraging violence.
This is what happens when people turn the rhetoric up so loud that disagreeing with
somebody is a cause for violence.
Everybody has a role to cut this stuff out, but I think a lot of my Democratic colleagues
in Washington have got to look themselves in the mirror and say, why is so much of this
political violence coming from our side of the spectrum?
Maybe they can do something different.
The FBI says it learned of the threat on June 10th and arrested a suspect in Cincinnati.
New court documents identify the suspect as 19-year-old Tyson Proper.
Prosecutors say Proper spent $3,000 of his graduation money to buy lots of ammunition,
guns and extra magazines for the alleged attack.
His mom had tipped off authorities over concerns about his purchases and online chats.
Investigators found signal chats describing the plot, including plans to regroup in Virginia.
FBI Director Kash Patel says a multi-state operation stopped the planned attacks cold.
The Secret Service says it worked with the FBI closely to neutralize the threat.
We take all threats of a large nature very seriously and we investigate them until we
can validate 100% that it's no longer a threat.
It was an active plot and it's ongoing.
Many of them did not sleep until the early, early mornings of yesterday and are back at it again today.
They're doing great work.
The UFC event, including its overflow area, drew more than 4,300 attendees,
including 1,200 active duty service members.
We're up 40% this year in threat cases.
This comes amid a string of threats targeting President Trump and senior administration officials.
The president telling NTD this after a latest shooting targeting Secret Service
just outside the White House weeks ago.
Will you keep doing your job effectively without thinking about these threats every day?
Well, I can't think about it because if I thought about it a lot, you know,
I wouldn't be a very good president.
It's a dangerous business.
What I'm doing is a dangerous business.
The investigation into the planned attack on the UFC fight is still ongoing.
The Secret Service says that there are still suspects at large
and they will keep working until everyone has been identified and held accountable.
Reporting by Iris Tao, NTD News.
And President Trump is on day two of the G7 summit in Evian, France,
where the Iran nuclear deal is taking center stage.
The president condemning reports that the U.S. plans to invest money in Iran
and signals that he wants to send the new agreement to Congress for review.
NTD's White House correspondent Mari Otsu has more in Geneva.
Hey Jack, good evening to you.
That's right, a packed second day of the G7 summit for President Trump
that included a cultural concert and a performance,
working sessions with G7 leaders and bilateral sit-downs
with the leaders of the UAE and Qatar respectively.
But center stage here is, of course, the Iran nuclear deal
with President Trump condemning reporting that part of that deal
would include millions of dollars in renovation funding for Iran.
Take a look.
We are not investing any money in Iran, by the way.
That rumor got out there yesterday, it was ridiculous.
The president declaring Iran has agreed to never have a nuclear weapon.
Also, the story that the U.S. is paying Iran $300 million is fake news,
saying he'll release the full text of the memorandum
while comparing it to former President Obama's JCPOA.
I'll not only release it, I'll probably have a press conference
and read it to you word by word so that the press covers it accurately
because it's a very important document and unlike Obama
who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPOA.
The Obama-era JCPOA allowed Iran to keep enriching uranium
with advanced centrifuges, enabling them to race from low-level enrichment
to weapons-grade material in just weeks or days.
President Trump's agreement would ban Iran from keeping any enriched uranium,
removing their ability to quickly advance toward a nuclear weapon.
The president saying the U.S. has the equipment to excavate
all Iran's enriched uranium and destroy it.
That was a road to a nuclear weapon, mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon.
This coming as President Trump is vowing to send the full text of the MOU
straight to Congress for review.
Whatever I say, they want to do the opposite.
I will send it to Congress, I like the idea.
I mean, who wouldn't approve it? Let's let them have a nuclear weapon.
The Democrats will say, oh, they should have a nuclear weapon.
They'll go crazy. I like the idea. Send it to Congress, please.
Meanwhile, Jack, on other peace efforts, President Trump is pressing Russia
to strike a peace deal with Ukraine.
The president also signaling that the U.S. will soon be in a position
to reimpose increased sanctions on Russia.
That's after the president is noting that he previously eased
some of those oil-related sanctions during Operation Epic Fury
to avoid any disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. Back to you.
A deal between the U.S. and Iran is just days away from the signing ceremony.
Florida Senator Rick Scott joins us now to break down how the proposed deal
and how the U.S. is in a different position going into this
after degrading Iran's military and weapons supply.
Senator Rick Scott, thank you so much for joining us here today.
It's nice to be with you.
Now, the specific terms of this U.S.-Iran deal aren't public yet.
What we know so far in general terms is that the Iran deal includes
Iran abandoning its nuclear program, and then once that's confirmed
and verified, they'll be able to join the world economy gradually.
How are we going into this deal now with Iran's military taken out
compared to Obama with his Iran nuclear deal, the JCPOA?
Well, the difference is we're not going to appease them.
We are not sending them pallets of cash.
We are not going to allow them to have a nuclear weapon.
We're not going to allow them to have ballistic missiles.
They're going to stop being able to give money to their proxies,
Houthi, Hezbollah, Hamas.
So that's a big difference.
This president's not going to appease them.
And there's this idea of a $300 billion fund provided by Gulf nations
that would help Iran rebuild its infrastructure
only if they change themselves, like halt funding for terrorist proxies.
This is very different from giving Iran $300 billion flat out
or flat out removing their sanctions.
Do you think that they'll actually see any of this money?
And if they do, will it be used to rebuild their civilian sector?
Well, first off, they don't use the money to rebuild the civilian sector.
They don't care about that.
That's number one.
Number two, I don't think they're going to change their ways.
I'm hopeful.
It would be great if they changed their ways.
Do I believe it?
No, I don't really believe it.
It's the same people.
They hate America.
They hate Israel.
So I don't think any of that's going to change.
But you can't underestimate President Trump, what he's been able to pull off.
And so hopefully the right thing will happen here.
All right.
And so we'll just have to wait and see what the terms of this deal are
when they're announced.
But I want to switch on to our next topic here.
The Pentagon has designated several major Chinese companies
as directly aiding China's military while operating here in the U.S.
This designation doesn't ban these companies from operating here,
but it prevents these companies from doing business with the Pentagon.
Why is it important to keep these products out of our military
and military equipment?
Well, I mean, you can't let your enemy be able to shut down your technology.
So we can't rely on them for any of our military technology,
any of our back office technology.
And we can't rely on them to sell us things, because guess what?
When we get in conflict over Iran, they're not going to sell us things.
So, no, we shouldn't be buying drugs.
We shouldn't be buying routers, modems,
anything that our government might need in a disaster.
And what can Congress do to take and protect American interests?
What risks does it pose everyday Americans that, you know,
we have these Chinese companies like BYD, Alibaba,
being used in the U.S. to advance China's military?
Well, number one, they're trying to kill us.
They're the ones that are sending fentanyl into our country to kill our kids.
And so that's got to stop.
Number two, they need to change their surveillance law,
because every Chinese citizen, even a dual citizen in this country,
is required to spy on our country, and they do.
So that's got to change.
We've got to vet all these individuals,
and anybody that's going to be supporting Hamas or Hezbollah, the Houthis,
they cannot be in our country.
Senator, you're chairman of the Senate Aging Committee,
and tomorrow there's a major hearing on China's unrestricted warfare on America,
particularly older Americans' health and finances.
You've been pushing legislation called the Clear Labels Act,
which would require a country of origin label on pharmaceuticals.
Why is it important that Americans know if their medicine's made in China?
Well, I think you ought to know what you put in your body.
You know where your clothes are made.
You know where your produce is produced.
You've got to know where the drugs are manufactured that you put in your body
and make sure they're safe.
So most Americans, when they know it's a Chinese drug, they wouldn't take it.
They know that China cuts the corners and wants to harm us.
So I have a bill called the Clear Labels Act that is actually going to make sure
that you know where the country of origin of the manufacturing is
and where all the ingredients come from.
I think when we do that, people are going to buy American.
And as far as this Iran deal,
how do you see this impacting China's influence in the region?
Well, I think it's going to continue to reduce Chinese influence.
They're not a friend of the United States.
They're not a friend of Iran.
They do need to buy oil from Iran,
and so I think they'll continue to be a buyer.
But other than that, their influence is waning.
All right.
Senator Rick Scott, thank you so much for sharing your insights with us today.
Really appreciate it.
All right.
Have a great day.
Bye-bye.

The Education Department's further downsizing.
Special needs education oversight is shifting to the Health and Human Services Department
and civil rights oversight to the Justice Department.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon says that those agencies are best positioned
to carry out those functions.
The responsibility the HHS is taking on includes billions of dollars in grants
and overseeing state compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
And the DOJ will oversee civil rights enforcement,
student privacy protection,
and discrimination complaints at the nation's schools and universities.
President Trump initially moved to shutter the Education Department,
but doing so requires an act of Congress.
Secretary McMahon has since formed agreements with other federal agencies
to handle much of the department's responsibilities.
And voters are heading to the polls in Georgia and Washington, D.C. today.
There's a high-stakes Republican Senate primary runoff in Georgia,
while D.C. Democrats choose a mayoral nominee in a race featuring a Democratic Socialist candidate.
NTD's Chris Bobb reports.
Hey, everybody.
Just voted for Derek Dooley and Bert Jones here in the big city of Winterville, Georgia, this morning.
Want to encourage everybody to get the vote out.
Let's get this done.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is making one final push
for former college football coach Derek Dooley in Georgia's Republican Senate primary runoff.
But President Trump jumped into the race just days before Election Day,
endorsing Congressman Mike Collins, calling him MAGA Mike,
and writing on Truth Social, quote,
Mike Collins is a true friend, fighter, and warrior,
who has been with us from the very beginning.
The contest has become a test of whether Trump or Kemp carries more weight
with Georgia Republican voters as they pick a challenger to Democratic Senator John Ossoff.
I mean, Trump has an influence.
For me, Kemp's influence is more important.
So I feel like he's a little more balanced.
Kemp has argued Dooley is the candidate best positioned to defeat Ossoff in November.
I'm not worried about any political equations or keeping score.
Everything I'm doing is to make sure we win in November.
Dooley has framed the race as a choice about electability.
Very simple. A vote for Mike Collins is a vote for John Ossoff.
A vote for me is a vote for Kemp.
Trump posted on Truth Social yesterday, quote,
I don't know Derek Dooley, and neither does anyone else.
But he seems like a nice person.
Unfortunately, he has lived outside Georgia for most of his life.
The president has thrown his support behind Georgia Lieutenant Governor Bert Jones
in the Senate's Republican gubernatorial runoff.
I could not leave this stage without thanking President Donald J. Trump
He didn't just endorse me once, not twice, not three times, even four times.
Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., Democrats are choosing a successor to Mayor Muriel Bowser.
Democratic Socialist Janice Lewis-George has led recent polling
with a platform focused on housing, child care costs, and other progressive priorities,
drawing comparisons to New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani.
President Trump weighed in last week.
I wouldn't like it, and maybe we'll take back Washington and run it on a federal basis.
We won't put up with it.
Lewis-George responded on X, writing that, quote,
the people of D.C. elect the mayor of D.C., and they want someone who will stand up to Trump.
Voters across three states are casting ballots Tuesday,
with key contests underway in Georgia, Alabama, and Oklahoma.
Polls in Georgia close at 7 p.m. Eastern.

I'm Jack Bradley.
And the Vice President reacts to the foiled UFC terror plot,
noting that we're seeing more violence from the far left.
And Georgia voters head to the polls to take part in the Senate primary.
Joining us to react to these developments, we have on Steve Scully,
host of The Briefing with Steve Scully on Sirius XM,
and Aaron Evans, president of Winning Republican Strategies.
Thank you both for joining us today, guys.
Now, the FBI arrested five people planning a terrorist attack
that was intended to target the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House.
The plot involved multiple suspects across four states
and meant to target attendees with drones and snipers.
Here's the Vice President on the rhetoric that he says fueled the plot.
You see more political violence and violent rhetoric coming from the left
than the right these days.
Everybody has a role to cut this stuff out.
But I think a lot of my Democratic colleagues in Washington
have got to look themselves in the mirror and say,
why is so much of this political violence coming from our side of the spectrum?
Maybe they can do something different.
Steve, in the Sussex Signal chat,
they discussed targeting Republican representatives.
How do you respond to the Vice President?
You know, Jack, I mean, I think he's right.
There's a lot of violence in our society,
and it is coming from the left.
It's also coming from the right.
You had the assassination of the former Speaker of the House in Minnesota
and her husband.
So tragically, we're seeing more of this.
And I think both sides, all sides,
need to come together to kind of tone down the rhetoric.
That means Democrats and Republicans.
And yes, that means President Trump,
and it means congressional leaders.
Thankfully, they were able to catch these individuals
because anytime you have a high-profile event,
like the UFC on the South Lawn of the White House,
it becomes a target, like the World Cup.
Any event like this, tragically, is now a sign of the times.
But my argument is, yes, the Vice President is right,
but so are what we're seeing from the radical right as well.
So collectively, we need to tone down the rhetoric
because it is, sadly, a state of affairs right now.
It sadly is.
And, Aaron, one of the suspects told investigators
that the attack aimed at capitalists and billionaires.
Do you think that this also stems from the rhetoric
we're seeing from the far left?
Yeah, no, absolutely.
And, look, I totally agree with my colleague.
I mean, I think that the political violence right now
is a massive problem in this country.
And we've just seen the rhetoric,
literally to the full extent,
just amplified over the last few years.
And it is a problem on both sides that we're seeing.
And I think, you know, obviously on the left,
it's went through the roof.
And we also see hard right rhetoric
with some of the podcasters and elected officials as well.
And, look, you know, I think we're at 250 years
celebrating our country's founding.
We've made it this far.
And I think there's nothing we could do better,
there's no bigger problem we could solve this year
than toning down the rhetoric,
getting back to doing the work of the people
in a civil way that respects one another,
putting America before partisanship
and some of this nasty stuff.
I mean, the conspiracy theories are just out of control.
And, look, you know, when people say things
that people respect and they're telling them
that someone's, you know, the end of America
or they're the end of democracy,
people who take that serious take drastic actions.
And I think, you know, words have responsibility
and consequences, and I think we're seeing
some of that play out.
But we need to hit the reset button.
If I could just add, too, we saw the assassination attempt
against Gabby Giffords, and we saw Steve Scalise,
so a Democrat and a Republican,
both members of Congress, both injured.
One almost died.
The other was on life support for a while.
So my hope is that Congress collectively,
and I think you would get this from a John Thune
and a Speaker Johnson and a Hakeem Jeffries
and a Chuck Schumer, to try to dial it back.
And we certainly saw that with the assassination attempts
against President Trump.
So collectively, as a country, we need to come together
because violence never, ever is the solution.
And tragically, we're seeing a lot of that on social media,
and let's just be honest, it's a lot of crap out there
that people then dial in and then react to.
Absolutely.
Very important topic, but I want to switch to another one.
Polls have just closed in Georgia for the GOP Senate primary
as voters decide who will challenge
the current Senator John Ossoff in November,
with President Trump endorsing Congressman Mike Collins
and Republican Governor Brian Kemp
endorsing football coach Derek Dooley.
Here's the governor explaining his endorsement strategy.
Everything I'm doing is to make sure we win in November.
I've been very clear about that.
I talked about that this morning early
about my endorsement in the governor's race,
making sure that we have the right people
at the top of the ticket that can win
and make sure we tire John Ossoff from the U.S. Senate
and make sure that, Lord help,
Keesha Lance Bottoms is not leaving our state
in the governor's office.
So that is driving my decision.
Steve, the president's certainly shown himself
to be somewhat of a kingmaker last month.
Do you think that his endorsement
will play out in Georgia?
Oh, absolutely.
This is Donald Trump's party.
Look, if the Republicans wanted a chance to win in Georgia,
Brian Kemp as the governor
should have run for the Senate seat.
I think that would have made it very competitive.
It's still going to be a competitive seat,
and even Governor Kemp would admit
that Georgia is a purple state.
But I think what we saw in the May 19th primary
with Mike Collins getting, what, 40% of the vote,
Derry Dooley about 30% of the vote.
So my guess is tonight,
and I predicted this today on my SiriusXM show,
is that we're going to see a Collins-Ossoff race.
It's going to be interesting.
John Ossoff has been talked about
as a potential 2028 candidate.
If he loses tonight in Georgia, all bets are off.
But I think if the Democrats or if the Republicans
really wanted to win Georgia,
Kemp is running for the U.S. Senate
would have made it very tough for John Ossoff.
We'll see what happens tonight.
But my guess is it is Donald Trump's party.
His endorsement matters.
Mike Collins will win tonight.
And the president says that no one really knows Derek Dooley
and that Mike Collins has been with him since the beginning,
dubbing him MAGA Mike now.
But his endorsement came very late in the primary.
So, Aaron, what about Mike Collins
would make him a good challenger for Ossoff's seat?
You know, look, I think it's definitely a great question.
I think he's going to definitely run an aggressive campaign.
I mean, we've seen that in the primary.
I do agree.
I think that there's a very high probability
that he'll win the primary tonight.
But, you know, I think we're going to see a race
that's firing at all cylinders
and working really hard to win in November.
And Steve, regardless of who wins this primary,
it's looking to be a more competitive race
compared to the 2021 Senate race, is it not?
It is.
I think looking at it, look, we're speaking in mid-June.
A lot will change between now and November.
We're 140 days before the election.
Early voting will take place in Georgia.
I think for the Democrats, they're looking at states
like Ohio and North Carolina, Alaska, Maine,
maybe off the table.
So right now it looks like the Republicans
hold on to the majority.
But, of course, Georgia is going to be critical
because that's one of the states that, you know,
that could be a bellwether.
I mean, if John Ossoff wins big,
that's going to be a good sign for the Democrats.
If Collins, who I expect will win tonight,
takes over Georgia,
then there is no way that the Democrats
recapture control of the Senate.
Talladega and Texas is another race
that I think at the moment
you'd have to give the edge to Ken Paxton.
But there are other races.
I mean, look, Roy Cooper is ahead in North Dakota,
North Carolina, and Sharon Brown
is ahead in the polls in Ohio.
So that could be a Democratic flip in Ohio
and a Democratic flip in North Carolina.
So a long time between now and November,
my point is, but certainly Georgia
is going to be one of the bellwethers.
And Aaron, your response on that,
do you also concur?
Yeah, and I think, look,
I think Georgia ultimately is going to come down
to Ossoff's record as well.
I mean, he's portrayed himself as a moderate,
but his voting record actually shows
quite a different story.
And I think that it's as much about Ossoff's record
as it is who the Republican nominee is.
And I think whoever wins tonight
is going to paint a very bold contrast
in Biden's yes man
and someone that's got a very progressive record
for a moderate to conservative state,
depending on which part of Georgia you live in.
And Jack, it's going to be an expensive race
because the NRSC is targeting this as well.
So a lot of money being poured into the Peach State.
Yeah, I mean, it is a big race.
Absolutely.
Steve Scully and Aaron Evans,
thank you both very much
for your time and insights as always.
Appreciate it.

NTV's Sam Wong was out on the National Mall in D.C.
to hear from the people.
How do you think President Trump
has been handling the situation in Iran?
I think he's handling it for everyone's best interest.
Republican, Democrat, we're stopping the nukes.
I think he's doing the same thing that every president,
former president or nominee has said they wanted to do.
I think he's been doing very well.
I mean, he's, let's say, the first president in 47 years
that's, you know, had the guts to confront a nation
that's been, you know, the biggest terror in the Middle East.
ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN,
they do anything they can to degrade him.
I don't think Obama did anything for this country.
I mean, he sent all that money over there to help them,
but to hell with us.
Do you think President Trump deserves some credit
for making some kind of agreement with Iran?
I do. I think down the road,
I think they'll succumb to the world pressure.
Even they may be signing an Abraham Accords
before it's all said and done.
I like Trump's America first, America always.
Ceasefire and stuff they got going on right now,
if any of that's true that I've been seeing.
You can't beat that.
I mean, that's been like that since back under Carter,
where Iran and Iraq have been crazy, mainly Iran.
Well, sure, I think he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.
I mean, look how many other wars he stopped.
Prices are coming down, gas is coming down, oil is coming down.
The Strait of Hormuz will probably be open soon.
I think so far he's been very strategically patient with them,
in the sense that he had the bombing,
but then he had the ceasefire
and he wanted to go through diplomacy, which he's trying to do.
So he's kind of a very level-headed leader.
As President Trump continues working on a deal with Iran,
he's also trying to bring peace to Ukraine.
The president meeting with Ukrainian counterpart
Vladimir Zelensky at a group of summit event here in France.
NTD's international correspondent Ariane Pasdar has the latest.
Look, Russia should make a deal.
Russia's lost tremendous amounts of equipment, so has Ukraine.
President Trump on Tuesday saying Russia and Ukraine
lost 35,000 soldiers last month,
highlighting the need to strike a peace deal.
Video shows the president attending the G7 Ukraine format
in France on Tuesday.
Pictures also show the commander-in-chief
sitting down with Ukraine's Vladimir Zelensky one-on-one.
The president says he also spoke with Russia's Vladimir Putin on Sunday,
but it's not clear what exactly they talked about.
Meanwhile, Zelensky commenting on his talks with President Trump.
We spoke about air defense with President Trump.
Our teams will work, and God willing,
this time we will succeed in obtaining licenses
for the production of the relevant anti-ballistic systems and missiles.
He added that Ukraine is also seeking a winter support package
and more pressure on Russia.
According to him, the U.S. is ready to, quote,
provide backstop in all of these areas.
President Trump, meanwhile, highlighting that he stopped the policy
of supporting Ukraine the way the previous administration did.
The European Union pays us full price for weapons,
but it's not that.
It has no impact on us.
We sell weapons.
We're thousands of miles away.
But the only reason I'm in,
I don't like to see 25,000 young people die every month.
Meanwhile, the fighting continues.
Ukrainian forces targeting Moscow's largest oil refinery on Tuesday.
Zelensky says the drone attack aims to force Russia to end the fighting.
In total, Ukraine sent 60 drones toward Moscow on Tuesday.
Russia managed to shoot down most of them.
Some hit the refinery,
and at least one appears to have hit an apartment building,
which is under construction.
And in Ukraine,
workers are starting repairs of the roof
of the Kiev-Peshchersk Lavra monastery.
The monastery is 1,000 years old
and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ukraine says the historic building
was damaged during a major Russian attack overnight on Monday.
Moscow denies the claims.
According to a Ukrainian official,
the repairs could take up to two years.
Ariane Pastor, NTV News.
While the FBI has arrested some of the suspects
involved in the recent terror plot at the White House,
questions remain on the level of planning and recruitment
for such a violent act.
Joining me now to discuss is Jonathan Gilliam,
former FBI special agent and former Navy SEAL.
Jonathan, thanks so much for joining us tonight.
Always great to see you.
Now, the terror plot that was uncovered by the FBI
allegedly involved a large degree of coordination and planning.
Here's what the vice president had to say
on the specifics of the plot and the premeditation involved.
23 people do not get to the point
where they're going to commit a mass terror incident
in Washington, D.C. without some serious funding,
without some serious coordination.
And we've actually been trying to go with those networks of coordination
because this is a terrorist plot.
Now, Jonathan, from your background as a former FBI special agent,
what does the process for exposing networks like these look like?
And do you think that we were close to a mass casualty event here?
Well, I think people were showing intent,
that they had enough intent and will to carry out an event.
That's the hardest part for these terrorist groups
is to find individuals who are willing to do it
and who will show that they have the intent to carry it out.
So I believe that that is the case.
Whether or not the plan was far enough along
where they could have carried it out,
I don't think it was far enough along to be carried out
for the UFC competition, at least from what we've been shown.
But I think this should be a big wake-up call to law enforcement in general
that these people are out there and that they're not all leftists.
This is the most shocking part for me.
I mean, I'm a conservative, but what I believe that we're seeing now
is that libertarians who are do-it-my-way-or-I'm-going-to-burn-the-house-down
type of mindset who think they're conservative in a lot of ways
or constitutional, they're people who are easily programmed, as we see,
in a similar fashion that people on the left.
I think we saw a similar breakdown of the Tea Party.
And I think with MAGA, there was a lot of people that were drawn to MAGA.
that are libertarians because they are zealots and thought that
this is a way to get everything I want.
And when they don't, then they start grumbling,
and that's the perfect time for people to come in and program them.
I think we've seen that here, and that is an alarming trend, I think,
across the board for everyone, is if they don't get what they want
when they want it, they believe they can act out.
Yeah, that leads us to how do they get so many people on board here?
The suspects in this plot allegedly wanted to trigger
an overthrow of the government and target elites and billionaires.
The plot involved different people across multiple states.
What does recruitment look like for a plot like this?
Well, it's interesting because I think that now social media
is the most dangerous battlefield in the world.
I think Iran showed that they are experts at propaganda and using social media.
That's how you get groups like Gaze for Palestine
or people out there chanting something about freedom
and wearing a Hamas headgear.
So social media is a place where people will go on,
and what we think is just, oh, I'm just going to look at some reels.
There's algorithms in there that are controlled by these nefarious groups,
and they can program in enough of a reoccurring theme
that if a person is predisposed to that type of anger
or looking for a purpose, they will find it, and it will be ingrained in them.
So I think it's much easier to recruit large groups of people
outside of a religious ideology than you ever saw before.
Usually it's tied to religion or people seeking freedom,
and now it's just people who have a political bend,
and these social media reels and the programming that goes on
inside of these chat rooms will just pull people in
and convince them that they're heroes or that they're altruistic
when in reality they're narcissistic and altruistic.
Yeah, I mean, a lot of these suspects were very young.
As far as our friends over on the other side of the Atlantic,
they just took action to ban social media for children under 16.
So we'll see if that comes over here as well.
But let's pivot topics here now.
While the full text of the Iran deal awaits a full release,
the president has continued to remain optimistic about this deal.
Here's President Trump in France discussing the long-term benefits.
Look, this agreement covers something very nicely.
We're not paying for anything. We're not doing anything.
The markets now are higher than they were when we started.
Remember that? The stock market now is 2,500, maybe even more than that,
points higher than it was when we started. It's pretty amazing.
Jonathan, with the cost of Iran reconstruction being funded by Gulf states,
how is this different than where we've been before with Iran?
Well, I think because we showed, along with Israel,
we showed Iran something that no one else has shown them in almost 48 years,
which is that they can be dealt with.
And really, they could have been completely destroyed
had President Trump not stopped where he did.
Every bit of their oil supplies, the manufacturing, the movement of the oil,
where they make all their money, which allows them to carry out all the things,
the proxy wars, the attacks, that was almost completely obliterated.
So their proxies are hurt, in some cases, obliterated.
So I think Iran understands force.
Because you've got to remember, these are zealots that are cult-like in their mindset.
And the only way to show these individuals who are on an eternal religious caliphate,
the only way to make them stop in their tracks is to use force.
Then you can step up with diplomacy.
But I will be honest, I don't believe that this will end in a good way.
And I think long term, it may take a long time, but their plan is eternal.
Our agreements are to the next president.
And so two years at the most now, and who knows what's going to happen after that.
So we have to keep that in mind, that they're ideologically driven,
not driven by what's best for everyone.
And when you go to the negotiating table with somebody like that, it's very dangerous.
But I'll tell you what President Trump has done really, really good,
is that he has put our forces in a position, after he spanked Iran, our forces are there.
And so they're there, and they know the weak spots of Iran.
And if Iran acts up, or if they start carrying out attacks or proxy wars again,
President Trump can just tighten that grip, and he can take them down a notch
or eliminate everything they need to function as a nation.
So I think we're in a good place.
It's difficult even for me to sit back and say,
okay, I'm going to trust the president on this one, because I do trust him.
But in the long run, I think if he can get some good things and hold that grip,
then we really do have control over the future.
If we don't maintain that grip, though, then none of it's really going to matter over the long term.
How do you respond to the argument that President Trump is solving problems
that he's created in this conflict?
I mean, that is an unrealistic and fanciful interpretation that people have created.
Again, a lot of this is programmed into their minds.
It's the same way Israel became an enemy to the world in six months.
I mean, you go back a year, two years ago, the mainstream people did not look at Israel as an enemy.
Now that's all the rage because of social media influencers.
So I think if people were, look, if gas prices plummet,
you're going to see the vast majority of these haters all of a sudden turn around,
because it's a very narcissistic hate.
It injures me at the pocketbook, so I'm going to hate Trump.
And they ignore what has happened in the world
and how many Americans and innocent people around the world have been killed by Iran.
They don't realize, because they just don't know,
the level of actions that Iran is consistently taking,
same with China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela,
are taking against the United States to subvert this nation.
It is drastic, and it causes myself, somebody who does know the reality of this,
it causes me great pause, because sometimes I just don't think the American people get it.
And because they don't get it, we are opening ourselves up to domination by forces that,
in the real world, without social media,
we would never invite an enemy to live amongst us the way we have now.
Yeah, there is definitely a lot of support for Iran,
and coming through a lot of leftist groups that are tied to funding from the Chinese Communist Party, we know.
But the president, as far as this deal goes,
indicated that the U.S. will have a role in destroying Iran's enriched uranium that remains.
Here's that statement from earlier.
They have the equipment, we have the equipment.
We're in no rush, but we get it, and when we get it, we'll destroy it.
We're not looking to take it, we're looking to destroy it.
We have plenty of it.
Jonathan, why is it important to destroy it rather than extract it?
Is this a practical move, and does it further guarantee that Iran's program doesn't remain a problem in the future?
Well, I think if it's destroyed—now, don't quote me on this, because I just don't know.
I don't know the reality of this, but I believe that it's easier to destroy it
than to store it and chance the possibility of it getting into the wrong hands.
Like President Trump said, we have plenty of this.
And if it's possible to destroy it there and never let it leave where it's at,
that would be probably the best scenario,
because the more people that we get in and around that,
and then we start the logistics of moving it,
these nefarious actors, people have to realize they are highly trained.
It's not like you get some Joe Smith who's just told to go steal some uranium.
These people, this is what they do for a living.
They train to do counter-operations.
And so their ability to get it and use it is very, very dangerous.
So I think destroying it is probably the best thing,
plus the less nuclear material we have in the world, probably the better.
But you said something there a second ago about the communist regimes working with Islam.
That's the Red-Green Alliance.
People should study on this.
The Red-Green Alliance and the term subversion,
you need to know this because that is what is really injuring this entire globe.
And Iran's intelligence apparatus, from what I can see, has never been, it's not decimated.
They are still alive, and that is a problem.
And this is a warfare that now, because of social media,
can do just as much damage as any type of infantry or bombs.
Because as you can see here in the United States,
President Trump's biggest enemy at this point are people that are American citizens
that are swayed through influence and programming.
And that's caused him more stumbling blocks along the way to get things done than anything else.
Let me say one other thing.
I learned in the SEAL teams, you can take a good platoon that's well-trained
and give them okay standard operating procedures,
or you can take the most well-trained platoon
and give them standard operating procedures that no one follows.
That great platoon will fail, whereas the okay platoon will do amazing things
with even okay standard operating procedures because they all work together.
And that's something we need to realize in this country.
If we get behind this president and give him a chance
and stop second-guessing everything he does,
there's a real possibility he can make gas prices go down, everything safer,
and as we can see, our military is stronger than it's ever been.
We just have to get behind him and support him.
Even if we don't particularly like one thing,
give him the support he needs to get some stuff done.
Respecting the office of the president.

There's cultures that have been lost.
But this culture hasn't been.
The artist is showing us our sense of who we are,
where we came from.
You look at his hat.
His hat is knitted probably by a man
because a man traditionally knitted the hats.
That hat tells you the story of who this person is,
what his place in the culture is,
the animals around him.
Everything's all contained in the messages in the hat
and the tool that he's carrying over his shoulder.
This is a centuries-old tool
that has been able to rework the mountains.
Those traditions are invaluable
and if we don't honor those traditions, then we're useless.
The artist is showing us the value of maintaining our culture
and respecting our culture.
Welcome back. I'm Jack Bradley.
Federal prosecutors charged 15 suspects tied to Antifa
with violently interfering with federal immigration operations in Minnesota.
13 are currently in custody while 2 remain at large.
NTD's Jason Perry has the details.
Today a federal indictment was unsealed.
Federal prosecutors in Minnesota on Tuesday
announcing charges against 15 suspects tied to Antifa
related to immigration protests in the state.
The suspects are accused of conspiring with 2 Minneapolis-based Antifa groups
to violently interfere with federal immigration enforcement authorities.
The 15 suspects, all from Minnesota,
are charged with conspiring to impede or injure a federal officer,
solicitation to commit a crime of violence,
interstate threats, interstate stalking,
assault on a federal officer,
and destruction of government property.
Federal prosecutors on Monday playing a clip of Kyle Wagner,
a member of Direct Action Minnesota,
that was posted to his social media account.
Show up ready to go.
Not talking about peaceful protests anymore.
We're not talking about having polite conversations anymore.
We're not talking about peaceful protests.
His words, not mine.
U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota, Daniel Rosen, giving an update.
Earlier this morning, agents of Homeland Security Investigations
conducted a coordinated law enforcement operation
culminating in the arrest of 12 of the 15 defendants.
One defendant had already been in custody on other federal charges.
Two defendants remain fugitives at large.
And he added this about charges the suspects are facing.
Whether or not they actually, at the end of the day, caused bodily harm
is not the measure of whether or not they committed a serious federal crime.
And I wouldn't dare say, you know, we just cannot have in this country
all people getting together, engaging in all of these violent acts,
and then simply saying, well, you know, nobody got hurt.
So how bad could it have been?
Minnesota became a hotbed of resistance
against immigration and customs enforcement
after federal agencies ramped up immigration enforcement in the state.
The suspects charged on Tuesday are allegedly tied to Antifa,
which is short for anti-fascist, a far-left extremist group
that originated in the Soviet Union
and functioned as the violent wing of Germany's Communist Party
to target political rivals.
President Trump previously designated Antifa
as a domestic terrorist organization.
And last September, Trump issued a directive to disrupt and dismantle Antifa.
