Fishing in Stonehaven

Donnie and you've been fishing how long? 15-20 minutes. And you had a nice couple of mackerels here. Beautiful fish. Best eating fish. Yeah it's healthy. Nice. Yeah I asked already before for fishing in the sea in Scotland you don't need a license which is great. Oh you got something? No no there's somebody crossing the line over there. Ah good idea. I see. So you only have like four hooks there with no food. They just go for whatever is moving. So mackerels go in a pack or how do you call them like more? A shoal. A shoal. Oh there was one. Yeah they travel in big shoals. You catch one, get the line back out quickly again. I see. Get the same shoal. Then they swim by and you have to wait for the next one. And you keep them alive until you cook them or? It's good for me because they're fresher. Yeah so they keep fresh as long as possible. So you have to, if you don't want to take the mackerel, you've got to shake them off your hook without touching them. Otherwise if a human touches the oils in the skin, the mackerel, I see. You don't want to take them. You can wear gloves or something. Just not the human skin yeah. Okay interesting. Donny I wish I could stay longer but my break for driving is finished.
