What is kindness? Kindness is an emotion that makes you feel really good about yourself.
When you give your mom a hug, it makes your mom feel loved on the inside.
My mom shows kindness in return for giving her a hug by making us breakfast. Our chefs at school
make us delicious lunch to eat in the afternoon. And when we say thank you, the chefs smile and
they feel appreciated. Kindness goes a long way. At recess, we play tag, which is good,
which is a good game because we can do it all together, and no one feels excluded.
One time I fell when we were playing, and my best friend got me an ice pack,
and now I know I can rely on him in any situation. Kindness can even be served at dinner. If you
don't know what I mean, try my brother's spaghetti, and your taste buds will dance.
When it's the kids' turn to help, I set the table, and my brother does the dishes,
and my oldest brother serves them amazingly well. Our parents feel that we try to help them
because kindness is a two-way street. This shows that everyone has kindness in their heart,
so always remember to be kind to everyone. It will help a lot with making friends and getting
people's trust. At the end of the day, you can rest easy because you filled your day with acts
of kindness towards friends, family, teachers, and even strangers. One thing I know for sure
is no matter how long or short the day is, there is always space for kindness.
Kindness is very important skill to have. It brings people together. Kindness means
many things to many people. It means being considerate, selfless, or compassionate.
Like love, it takes time and practice to understand it. It's one thing to be taught
kindness, but different to be touched by it. It is unknown who made this quote,
but I really like it, and that's why I use it in my essay. We share kindness by a simple smile,
a nice compliment, and helping one another. Kindness can be very helpful and useful to make
friends and strengthen relationships. Kindness is one way you can strengthen your beautiful side,
the side that can help you grow and learn to understand one another.
Kindness is also important to build social and mental skills for children and adults.
For those who never learn or never get the chance to nurture their beautiful side,
they may bully the ones who can grow their beautiful side, all because they believe they
cannot. But there's always a light that paths from light to darkness, and always a path from
darkness to light. Since there's a beautiful side of you, there's also a side of you that is
struggling. And sadly, many drift into the darkness without even knowing it, even if they try to do
something kind. Kindness is not something you can hold. It's not something you can physically see.
Kindness is what you choose to do for someone else, and when they thank you, you feel a growing,
genuine feeling that tingles and burns in your heart. Kindness can also mean being there for
someone, no matter who they are. It means always having their back, and it means someone trusting
you. It doesn't matter what you do, like say thank you, picking up a pencil, or even saving
someone's life. Kindness is an amazing skill to have, and even more incredible to feel and witness.
Kindness is very important, and is important to build social skills for people of all ages.
When there is a new student in the class, we need to show kindness to make them feel better,
and then maybe you'll get a new best friend. If you treat people kind, you will also be treated
kind, and you will gain a spectacular reputation. If you will not be kind, for example, let's say
you're a bully. You're not kind to someone. It gets in their heart. They will hold it for a while,
and then they'll spread it through the class, the school, and the city. But you could stop it
by being kind. Spread kindness, I ask you. It's good for everyone in every single way.
An example of this in real life, so once I was playing soccer in second grade, and someone
side tackled me. I couldn't get up because my leg was injured, and then my classmate David
helped me out, and then we became best friends and had a wonderful rest of the school year.
Kindness is simple to define, yet difficult to capture, and it's impact on us is what makes
the world a warmer place to share. It gives us courage and boosts our determination to overcome
adversity, fills us up with hope, and reduces our fears of the unknown. Even in my first memories,
I have experienced the kindness of others, and hold those experiences close to my heart.
When I was six years old, I accidentally released my helium balloon, and it lodged into some tree
four inches above my reach. A UPS delivery guy took notice of what happened, and interrupted
what he was doing to achieve my goal. It meant the world to me that day. He may no longer remember,
but I will remember for the rest of my life. It will inspire me to stop what I'm doing if I notice
that someone else has been distressed, and my help can relieve their anguish. Kindness also
instills confidence and boosts overall optimism. This sense of elation cancels persistent negative
facts that lead to depression. One person's kindness inspires another random act of kindness,
and triggers a talent. Today, I would like to tell you about the power of kindness. Maya Angelou,
an American poet, once wrote, it takes courage to be kind because it's not always easy. Many times,
I'm not kind to my older brother because he's incessantly bothering me and saying things about
me that I'm not sure. Sometimes, I get very mad at him and start fighting back. When my brother's
kind, I follow his lead. However, I know that I need to be kind to my brother even if it is difficult.
I have thought very hard about what could help me treat my brother better.
One thing I could try is asking him to calm down a bit before speaking with me. I will also make
sure that I think before speaking with him. When we respond aggressively and negatively, we feel
better for a second or two. However, later we start to feel guilty and upset. When we take our
time to calm down and respond with kindness, it may feel very difficult in the beginning,
but everyone feels better in the long run. Being kind can be very challenging, but it is definitely
worth it. My favorite quote is, to be kind is more important than to be white. Many times,
what people need is not a brilliant mind that speaks, but a special heart that listens. I did
some research on this subject and when you are kind, your body makes little chemicals called
endorphins. Endorphins help you feel better by reducing the amount of pain that you feel.
For example, if you have a broken leg that is very painful, doing a kind act will make your body
reproduce endorphins. These endorphins will go to your brain and help you feel less painful with
broken leg. Kindness can also make your brain and the brain of the person that you are kind to
healthier and healthier. When you are kind, your brain makes chemicals called neurotransmitters.
Dopamine and serotonin are two important neurotransmitters that are produced in high
amounts by kind people. The last thing that I will tell you is, if you do an act of kindness
to someone, do not assume that they will reward you. When you do or say something kind, always
remember that you are actually getting a treat from yourself. Being kind is the treat that you
technically give all the world. In conclusion, kindness is important for our health and for our
relationships. If everyone tries to be kind every day, it will be a much better place.
Please be kind. It is so important.
