Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's Christopher from Cars Unlocked.
What a crazy day we have here today, April 5th in Niagara, Ontario.
It's snowing, the sun is out, it's nice and warm, I don't know what to think, but today
we're showing you the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible.
This one is the EcoBoost, let's check it out.
So brand new redesign for this model year.
This is a 2015 Ford Mustang, taking a look at the nice headlights there.
They are HID headlights, and then you do have the LED fogs down below.
Gorgeous color on this one.
This one is in the guard metallic, nice green, nice shiny look to it.
The taillights are LED, obviously you do have your tri-bar Ford Mustang taillights that
are iconic with the Mustangs.
Our pony symbol is right on the back there.
We do have a dual exhaust down below, and our backup sensors are right below our license
plate cover.
So checking out the rims, this one is on the 19 inch painted aluminum black alloy rims.
We do have the sport tires, 255 40s R19, so they are 19 inch tires.
So let's take a look at under the hood.
This one is, like I said, the 2.3 four cylinder EcoBoost.
It's going to come with an independent rear suspension, it is rear wheel drive.
If you're buying this car for the fuel economy, which would really be the only reason you
would purchase the four cylinder, you're going to average about 7.9 liters per every 100
kilometers on the highway.
So taking a look at the key, we do have our lock, our unlock, our remote start, our trunk
release, and our panic button right on the key.
It is a smart key system, so I just need to have the key in my pocket and put my thumb
over the lines on the door there, and I can enter the vehicle.
Taking a look at the inside, this one is the premium package, so you do get the ebony leather.
Very nice black leather with the white stitching.
As I said, it is a six speed automatic transmission.
So let's start this thing up and take a look at the interior.
It starts up nice, it's got a nice little growl to it.
It does have the push button start.
Looking at the wheel, it is a nice leather wrapped wheel, and of course we have the paddle
shifters, this being the automatic right here.
Our Bluetooth and our cruise control are right on the wheel.
I love the nice big pony symbol hitting me right as I look at the steering wheel.
Automatic headlights.
The infotainment, is this my touch screen?
I guess I'm a little biased to the screen, since the SYNC 3 has come out.
This isn't really good, it's a little outdated.
I liked it at the time, but you look at it now and you're just like, what the **** is
this?
There's four squadrons on the my touch.
You can do your climate control down below, which is basically an exact replica of the
manual climate controls down here.
You see we have our seats, and then our different fan strengths.
I'm not sure why we need that on the screen, or why we need it down here if there's both.
Maybe have one or the other.
I'm a little biased towards this, like I said, but you can see the full SYNC 3.
I go through everything on the SYNC 3 that adds to this my touch, the new Ford infotainment
system in my other video.
This one is a little old, connecting your phone is still easy, but using the voice commands
can be tricky, and it does have some lagging issues as you get going there.
Our manual controls down below.
We do have radio controls, again, things that are right on the touch screen, but I can control
my radio here.
And then this is really cool.
I do really like these toggles, our four-way flashers, our traffic control on and off,
our heated wheel, and our drive mode.
There's four different drive modes.
There's the normal mode, the sport mode, the track mode, and the snow mode, which you can
toggle through using these toggles.
So driving the Mustang, it's a real pleasure to drive.
It's obviously nothing like the GT with this EcoBoost.
It's going to give you about the same pickup and feel as the V6.
It's a little more expensive.
You do hear that whine of the turbo and of the EcoBoost when you accelerate, just like
any turbo.
You do hear that whining in the acceleration.
Obviously, it doesn't sound like a pony car, but it still takes off.
The steering and the suspension, you can tell when they plan to redesign this car, everything
is nice and stiff.
The front end feels very, very heavy.
It is a real pleasure to drive, even though this one is the four-cylinder and the six-speed
automatic.
So thank you very much for watching another video.
Again, my name is Christopher, and I presented to you the 2015 Ford Mustang.
If you have any questions about this car, do not hesitate to ask in the comment section
below.
And thank you for watching.
