Be capable of violence even though you are not a violent person. Recently I was threatened by a guy
on the street in America. Clearly violence was going to be the outcome of the next few seconds
so I instantly let him know by my body posture, energy, tone and so on that I also was capable
of violence if he pushed this to the point of no return. I had no other option in that space in
that moment in case you're thinking you could have done this, this and this. It wasn't an option so he
backed down and walked away. Better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war because the
world is full of bullies. From Vladimir Putin to the kids at school the world is full of bullies
and I think teaching our kids self-defense, martial arts etc is a gift to them if there's a
situation in life where showing you're capable of violence without being violent necessarily
could be a lifesaver. I think it saved my life on the streets in Detroit
recently. What do you guys think about that?
