There are 6+ important points that will help you keep away the covid19 virus. Rubbing or moxa would work.
Now during the COVID-19 pandemic, because of the news, because of the numbers of
those positive cases and also stay at home order, so people
get more and lots of stress and stressed out. So we need some points to
help. So self-treatment on certain points can calm the spirit. It can help
give you more relaxation. One of the points is PC6 we just mentioned
previously, which on the forearm can help. And another point is the GB20 and
also we have one of the extra points we call the Yintang. So let's talk about the
GB20 first, which is on the back of the head. The GB20, the Chinese name
we call a fengchi, which means a wind pull. And you know once you have the
stress and there's lots of patients have this headache. So they have lots of
muscle tension, they have a headache. And even sometimes now when they stay at
home, lots of young people, they just play the game and then they have lots of
tension from the neck. So GB20 also can help those symptoms. GB20 is
located at the back of the head in the depression between with the upper
portion of the two muscles. One is the trap, we call the trapezius. One is a muscle
they call the Prius muscle. The terminology they call the SCM, sternocleidomastoid
muscle. Usually they use abbreviation SCM. The function of this point, they can
benefit the sensory organs, your eyes, your nose. They can help your head. We
call it clear the head. You know when you have a headache, you have bloating
feeling, you have distending feeling, some people said pounding sensation. So
we can use this one also to benefit your head to treat a headache. And they can
relieve the pain, like we said the neck pain. Because this one is close to this
muscle, which is like the two major muscles on your neck. Other than the
headache, some patients are dizzy, they have vertigo. This is why we said the
indication for this point includes the headache, like the dizziness, vertigo,
lightheaded. And even like some patients have runny nose, nasal congestion. So we
can do points around the nose region, but you also can do the points on the back
which is a Gb20. As it can help. Some patients when after we needle this point
and they feel them, they cut off my nose, I can't smell. And they have some like
what we call, they can unblock the nasal passage. So there's a Gb20. Another
point is we call the extra points, the Yintang. Yintang is like, it's right
between the middle and over the eyebrows. So usually in the Chinese
culture, they call the third eyes is here. And so this Yintang is one of it. So
Yintang can help to relax the mind, to calm the spirit, relax the
people. Yintang also is a good point to help the nose, because it's close to the
root of the nose. Another name is called impression hall. And so this is
a point we can use for the headache, insomnia, anxiety, like all the patient
agitation. So during the pandemic, so people stressed out, so we can press
Yintang, which is easy on the forehead region, so easy. And also can give
acupressure on the Gb20. And also like the one you mentioned before, which on
the top of the head, which is Gb20, they all can help the spirit. So it can
help your sleep. Some patients, when they are stressed out, they don't have
sound sleep. And so those points can help a lot. Gb20, you can just draw
the line from the tip of the ear, what we call apex. So the ear
part, and you draw the line to meet the midline of the head. So on the
top of the head, that's Gb20. So that one also can help the spirit. And at that
point also can benefit the memory. I think they use this one for
both, for stress and for memory. They want to try to
remember information to get a good score, a good result for the test.
