First Look of the Staterooms on Mardi Gras | Carnival Cruise Line

Hey! Hey Dom, come on in and check out our Mardi Gras stateroom. We are here at the PQ Works cabin factory in Finland to get a sneak peek at our new Mardi Gras stateroom. We looked outside the industry to DCA who are experts in product design as we felt they could bring a different perspective. DCA specializes in product design so when looking at staterooms from Mardi Gras we were able to bring a fresh perspective on the cabin design. We drew on our team's experience designing hotel rooms and innovative products and these experiences pushed us to identify areas where we could add real value to Carnival. We saw opportunities everywhere. A Carnival cruise is about having fun so we want to make sure that the staterooms provide a space that is both functional and relaxing. My favorite feature in the cabin has to be the flip sofa. It goes from a sofa to a real comfortable bed in just seconds. We are hoping that our staterooms make our guests feel both relaxed and comfortable with things that they need at their fingertips. Whether it be a large mirror for a family to get ready in the morning or multiple USB ports and plugs for their many devices. We also wanted to make sure that they could find and use storage in multiple areas so conveniently enough our stools can turn into a hamper. We have also equipped the closet with a We've given the little details a lot of thought from adding a shaving bar in the bathroom shower to the flexible reading lamps next to the beds allowing guests to read without disturbing others in the cabin. We're also keeping it light and bright with clean lines so that it feels more open. The sliding balcony doors help achieve just that and also provide an expanded view of the ocean. I think the Mardi Gras guests are going to love these staterooms. I know they are. Thanks for all your help Dom.
