Hi guys, welcome back to another WD Detailing video.
We're gonna try something new,
where we talk about the car
before we actually show you the full detail,
because we thought that this car in particular
was goofy and weird enough to show.
And as you can see, it's a 1983 Chevy S10 on hydraulics.
So, this sucker is,
no, I can't get my fingers underneath it at all.
It's sitting on our floor.
The guy, he did it all himself,
apparently when he was 13 years old.
He sold the truck, bought it back, and redid it all again.
He actually did the door handle delete.
So, there only is one keyhole on this side,
and there's no keyhole or door handle on the other side.
So, the only way to get in is to search for the key
somewhere on the truck that he hides,
or the one that he keeps in his pocket,
and to unlock it and pull the door open that way.
But it is a manual, I believe a five-speed manual,
with a four-cylinder engine underneath the hood.
And look how much room is in that engine bay.
Tiny engine, lots of space.
So, very easy to work on,
but he did all the custom suspension.
There's huge control arms.
Looks like there's a top mount
and a bottom mount control arm
that keep this thing stable while you drive it,
and while it's lowered.
It's insane.
I mean, the fact that there's a whole culture
that does this to little, cool trucks like this.
I think the color's freaking sweet.
Although, the battery in here, back here, is kind of dead.
So, when we're gonna have to clean the tires,
we have our jump box and our positive,
and unfortunately, it has to spark a little
in order to get it to pump up, so.
That scared me, I'm not gonna lie.
Put it on this and see if I can't get the rest of it to.
Three, two.
I can't believe that worked.
So, this is what it looks like.
Well, the front has a really flat tire,
so it's still sitting a little choppy,
but, uh-oh, pulling up,
pulling up to the car show.
Time to chop and screw.
So, now it's time to raise the car back up
and fill the tire to clean it,
but it was a race against the clock
because this tire was leaking air bad.
So, hopping into the question of the video,
leave your answers in the comments below.
We know there's a huge community of people
who love trucks like these,
so we wanna know, are you someone
who loves a truck like this?
Do you not love it?
How do you feel about it?
Let us know down below.
And to get any grease or dirt off the pumps themselves,
we used some degreaser and a soft bristle brush
and then we sprayed it away,
and that was just to make sure that they were clean
in case they wanna work on them when they get the car back.
Okay, so here's a question.
If you guys own this truck,
you could see how much space is in this engine bay.
Would you upgrade this engine?
Would you leave it as is?
What would you do with it?
Leave it in the comments below.
And with the truck washed,
we went ahead and did our iron decontamination process
with our clay barring,
which we cover that in a lot of videos.
If you guys are curious,
you could check out our other videos, exactly what we do.
And then after that, we rinsed it off, dried it off,
and we gave it a one-step polish
to really bring the shine out of this beautiful blue paint.
Taking a quick look at the interior,
it was exactly what you could expect.
It was in desperate need for a deep cleaning.
The seats were dirty.
Everything was dusty.
So we started by pulling the seats out first,
and then we went ahead and deep cleaned everything.
So the doors were relatively just dusty
and needed a good cleaning.
And we used our all-purpose cleaner on the plastic parts
along with a soft bristle brush.
And then the carpeted parts,
we used our extractor and we got it nice and clean.
Now, there really wasn't that much to the interior
of this truck.
It was a few basic components.
We got those clean,
so it was time to put the seats back in,
clean the windows, dress the tires,
and this truck was good to go.
Again, if you guys like this kind of truck,
leave it in the comments below.
And also, if you're not subscribed to the channel,
we have something really cool coming up.
