Highlights from London Fashion Week February 2017

London is synonymous with being fearless. We are the originators of spirit and individuality. There's a sense of creativity here and boldness that you don't often see in other cities. People are open-minded enough to support emerging talent. There's raw delicious ideas. You could be whatever you want to be and that's what I love about it. The 36 hours before showing my collection, I go through a lot of emotions. You go up and down, it's like a roller coaster. By the end you want to show everyone my hard work, blood, sweat and tears. I'm feeling tired and happy it's done and I hope people liked it. People have found their voice. There's so much going on in the world that stirs people up. Every single season I'm blown away by how talented our home-grown designers are. I love showing London Fashion Week. I grew up in London lingering outside shows when I was like really young so it's amazing to kind of be part of somewhere. I think showing in London is the best thing. London Fashion Week are an incredible place for buyers to meet designers and to kind of understand what sells, what doesn't and the marketplace is so valuable. I tend to start thinking about the next presentation like the day after. So I'll start tomorrow because I've been thinking about it probably for like the last six months. There's been a season of emerging energy that this city should be in. It always needs something new. What are you saying about me? Talking about your show. Oh yeah it was brilliant. We've seen our incredible designers, businesses and brands go from strength to strength. We've had the world media and retailers here in London and they've been inspired by the shows that they've seen and the amount of talent that we have in this incredible city.
