Good morning everyone. I hope you guys are having a wonderful day. I thought I would take you guys
through my morning routine today because I've kind of implemented some new things recently
that I'm trying to just make myself healthier and prepare my body for pregnancy. Obviously not
pregnant yet but I would like to start thinking about it in the next few months inshallah. I
thought I would show you guys what I'm doing to prepare my body. I guess since Alayna is getting
bigger and heavier and I'm still having to carry her and stuff I honestly have just recently been
feeling so weak. My morning routine that I was doing just was not working for me because
the time that I was going to yoga was so early. It was 7 a.m which it's just it was really hard
for me to get to that morning class. I was not working out and I'm just like how am I going
to be pregnant and be so just weak like I just felt frail. My arms just felt like sticks like
I just felt I don't know I just knew that I needed to do something to like get my physical stamina
and strength up. I know that you guys may think that yoga isn't going to do that but those of you
who do power yoga, hot yoga, you know that it is definitely a workout. You do get lots of strength
training and stuff even if it's just body weight. It really does help me feel stronger so I started
going to the 9 a.m class which just kind of pushed back my work day a little bit but thankfully since
I work for myself that way I can just make my own schedule so it's fine. I'm dressed for yoga right
now let me show you guys what I'm wearing because I actually really like this workout outfit. I found
this tunic that's meant for I think sun protection but it does have like you know sweat wicking
materials in it and I just really liked it because it's super long covers everything in the back.
These are actually the Lululemon Align leggings. I've heard so many people including my sisters
rave about these and I just never understood the hype but you really don't understand it until
you try it because they are the most buttery leggings I've ever felt in my life. The second I
put them on I swear I didn't take them off for like two days because they were they're just so
soft. You do have to worry about them when you wash them because apparently they can pill
so I've just been trying to be careful when I wash them and wash them on delicate and don't
like dry them in the dryer. This tunic since it's loose and sometimes we do different inversions
and stuff I don't want my shirt to come up so I just put a tighter black tank top underneath that
way if my shirt was to come up it wouldn't show my skin and then this workout hijab I got off
Amazon and I can link that too. It's just super practical because you just slip it over.
It's not swim material if that makes any sense. I feel like it's really thin jersey with like
maybe a little bit of sweat waking materials in there but it wouldn't be good enough to like
submerge in water completely but it's like perfect for the gym you just tuck it in. That is the look
just simple. I'm gonna go throw on my Amazon cushion slides because those are the most
comfiest things ever and I'm gonna head to yoga. Look who woke up. Say good morning. You're so sweet.
Look at that bed hair. Can I put you down? Can I put you down? No? She's just hanging on to
me huh? Tighter? Okay. Elena's gotten to the age where I have to like sneak out or else she will
cry. That was sad. I couldn't even tell anyone bye. I just had to sneak out. This is my new water
cup. Everyone's freaking out about the Stanley cups with the side handle the huge ones. I am more
of a flip straw kind of girl because I can throw this in my bag and it's not gonna like leak. It's
also a lot smaller so it's like easier for me to handle but it's still like a good amount of water
so and I like that it has this like top handle. It's just like super convenient for me to hold.
Anyways I just am so grateful to Omar because after I changed my workout time he obviously has
to like take over in the morning and do everything. Before I was like always doing her breakfast,
always get getting her dressed, all of that but now that I'm gone later in the day Elena's awake
and ready for all that so he just takes over and he's been so great just so supportive like
wanting me to take care of myself. So anyways point is never settle ladies. I'm back home.
My mom and my mother-in-law are both out of town this week so it's gonna be a struggle trying to
figure out how to work and take care of Elena. She actually I was trying to like calm her down
for the past like 30 minutes. She was not in a good mood so she's not letting me do very much
this morning but I'm gonna continue on with what I've been doing and that is celery juicing. So I
had mentioned to you guys that I was celery juicing. I think it was probably a year ago at
this point. I gave it like two weeks which probably was not long enough at all but it gave me like
some pretty like bad side effects. I was basically running to the bathroom which I now know is normal.
I probably didn't do enough research on it honestly. My mom actually told me that it took
her a little over a month for those side effects to go away. It's kind of like the detox process
so I'm gonna give it another shot. It has been I think today is the third day. We are gonna get
back on this. I really just wanted to do kind of just a cleanse before I get pregnant again. I don't
know with all of my gut issues like which I've talked to you guys about I'm trying to just get
I actually really like the taste of celery juice. I made enough for two days. I think technically
you're supposed to juice every single morning but I don't really have the time for that so I'm just
gonna do it like every other day or so. I'll catch up with you guys in a sec. You guys know I'm a
creature of habit. Just made my avocado toast for breakfast. Even when I travel I order the avocado
toast pretty much everywhere I go. It's ridiculous. I just added an egg on top. I cut up some baby
cucumber and tomato. Eggs are actually a food that my nutritionist recommended. I was working
with one to help me with my gut issues and I was asking her like should I go vegan? Like is that
gonna help me with my stomach? And she was like no. There's a lot of foods like eggs and different
meats that have a lot of nutrients that are good for growing a baby so I've been continuing my eggs.
I'm gonna make sure I'm getting enough protein every day. Making sure I'm eating enough calcium
and iron and stuff because all of that I want to make sure I have enough reserves for myself as
well as growing a baby. So I'm gonna go ahead eat my breakfast then I was gonna show you guys what
vitamins I have been taking. After I eat breakfast I go ahead and take my prenatals and none of this
is sponsored by the way. I just wanted to actually try Ritual. I know that every single influencer
who talks about them is sponsored but I bought this with my own money and I actually do really
like the lemony flavor. It has like a little bit of lemon flavor that distracts from the DHA which
I believe is what makes it taste a little bit fishy. So but DHA is really really important
for baby's brains so I wanted to make sure I had my folic acid and DHA on board several months
before I was thinking about having a baby. Seed is my probiotic. I actually take this on an empty
stomach usually like right before I go to sleep. It's actually empty right now I'm waiting on my
next shipment. I really love this brand because it has an enteric coating that way your gastric
acids don't break it down and the probiotics will like make it down into your intestines where you
need it. Another one for gut health that I take is oxy powder. I feel like I've talked to you guys
about this before but this keeps me regular and it's a really nice natural way to just make sure
you go every day because it's really important to go every single day. And then I take vitamin D.
That is everything I'm taking right now. Elena is finally down for a nap. I got myself pulled
together because I do have a meeting in a little bit but I threw on this comfy outfit that I thought
I would share with you guys because it's really good for the summer. I have on these wide leg
glowy pants. These are by that brand called Cushionaire that makes those cloud sandals from
Amazon you guys. They make in Birkenstock and they are so darn comfy so I'm just wearing those
around the house because I haven't worn them out yet. Then I have on this tank top. This is a little
muslin button-down top that's really good for layering so if you're looking for like a white
shirt that's not too see-through to like just wear with tank tops and jeans and stuff this is a
really really nice one. A blanket and I just have on this chiffon push-up. That's the comfy breezy
look for today since it's so hot. So I'm gonna go have my meeting and I'll catch up with you guys in
a little bit. I went ahead and finished my meeting. I ate some chipotle for lunch, finished filming a
couple stuff that I needed to film for Instagram and now I'm gonna go see Omar and Elena. He took
her to his sister Meadow's house which she lives right around the corner. I just wanted to wrap up
a little bit more of like prepping for my body for pregnancy. Obviously I showed you guys I'm
gonna be doing my workouts consistently. I'm planning for four days a week at minimum going
to yoga and I'm already feeling so much stronger because it's been, I think it's been about a
couple weeks that I've been going consistently now and just keeping my my diet clean. I'm not
trying to be like super strict on myself. If I want to eat out or whatever like I'm obviously
just gonna try to make better choices and just making sure I'm getting a lot of nutrients,
taking my vitamins. I just need to be consistent with my vitamins every day, my water intake
and that's pretty much it. I just want to go into this pregnancy like with my healthiest and best
self because I know like in the first trimester it was so hard on me with Elena and like I couldn't
even really move, let alone work out. So I just want to like get a head start on that so that I'm
at least physically in a good place. If you guys have any tips for prepping your body for pregnancy
I would love to hear that as well. Thank you guys so so much for watching. Let me know what you guys
want to see next on my channel and I will see you guys in my next one. Bye!
