Alaina's First Birthday Party!

Good morning you guys. Today is the day of Elena's birthday party and I'm so excited. I'm headed over to my mom's house now where we're having the party and all the vendors are going to be arriving soon to start setting up so I wanted to be there in case they had questions or anything like that. And then Omar is watching Elena and he's going to bring her to my mom's after she naps. The party starts at 1 and right now it is 8.15 in the morning so let's go ahead and go over there and get started on setting up. I'm so excited to see how it all turns out. We have all the tables set up and everything and Lushra, the balloon company just got here too. We're just waiting on them to come in and let them know where to set up everything. I'm glad you came, Lena, because I wasn't sure if you were going to come or not. I didn't want them to like come and then you being like, I don't know what you guys wanted. Oh my goodness. Lushra just got here. They're the balloon company and they have all the balloons for the party in there and they're like the perfect colors. I love it. Oh my gosh, I have to get closer. I've never seen the truck in person before. They did my baby shower balloons but it was a complete surprise so I never got to see the setup or anything. So pretty. Right now, we are putting together the drinks. Yeah. We have raspberry lemonade. I was gonna make it from scratch and then I was like, oh no, this will be so much easier. It's so good. And then we have mint. And are you sure we shouldn't put lemons in it since this is already so lemony? Well, like maybe for the look. Just for the look. Okay. Just like slice it. We'll like slice it, right? That looks prettier. That looks prettier. It looks homemade too. I know. Girl. So we have all the flowers. We're gonna put together the arrangement. My dad ordered all of these and they're so gorgeous. Look at these peonies. My dad already made this one. So we're just gonna make a few more to go on the rest of the guest tables that look similar to that. We finished all of them now. They turned out so beautiful. The colors are literally perfect. And now we're getting the cake out. We're gonna see if we're gonna add any more flowers to the actual cake or not. I'll show you guys what it looks like. I like that it's not as dark white. I know, it actually turned out better than I thought. Oh wow, it's so pretty. It's so pretty. It looks so good with the, oh my god, these colors. Oh, the colors. Oh my god. I wanted it to be like ombre and she, she really did exactly what I wanted. Do we want to put it here? Well, the thing is, I have a cake chopper. I have one that says one. So do we want to put that and put it around it or do we want to put it? And then I have the butterflies, so I don't know what we should put. Maybe we should just try and put them in the. Do you, do you want me to go ahead and get the cake chopper and put that? Yeah. Actually, I don't think we even need flowers. Okay, let me get the butterflies. So I asked the cake lady to do gold butterflies and fondant. She put them on the side for me. Actually, they turned out pretty. I just don't know exactly how to place them on there. Yeah. Oh, maybe on the side. One here, one here, one here. I'm thinking to do kind of like her dress. Oh, okay. Okay. What do you think? That looks so good to me. Okay. I wanted to show you guys the smash cake because it's even cuter. Cute. Look at that. I'll probably put like one of the extra butterflies on top. What do you think? Yeah, it's just one. So cute. I just have to show you guys all the colors. We're not going to set it up yet until they finish the balloons, but everything turned out so perfect. I'm so excited. We are getting ready. I just did my makeup. Oh, we all did our makeup. I know, but I feel like it looks like I'm wearing no makeup. It looks really nice and natural. I feel like I look perfect. Your skin looks so good. We're still in lounge wear and we are about to change. Everyone's scrambling trying to find neutral stuff. I told everyone that like, it would be cute for us all to wear neutrals, but I don't think, I don't know. It doesn't have to be that stressful. No, but I feel like we all have neutrals for now, but we have to wear it. We're like, oh my God, what are we going to wear? I know, like my mom's like, I don't know, literally. Like I don't have anything. My mom's scrambling trying to find something to wear. I'm like, you can wear whatever. It doesn't matter. It's okay. But if they're not wearing neutrals, then they're going to have to leave because they're not going to match. Sorry, you can't, you can't. I like this lip liner. Let me try it. Yeah. Is it good? Yeah, I don't think I've actually told anyone on my channel that my mom and dad are like, kind of renovating some of their house and Lauren's little film room has gone to be a storage room. It's also my fault. Pack and play. I have a bunch of stuff there as well. I was watching this tutorial yesterday. Ariel, Carly Jenner's makeup artist, was doing her makeup. Have y'all noticed like her blush is so perfect all the time and he does it like right here. I think I need some. Can you put it on me, Lauren? There you go. This is just super bright pink.
