Comparing the CHEAPEST vs MOST EXPENSIVE Las Vegas Buffet! - Is it worth it??

Good morning adventurers! So yesterday we had one of the longest travel dates ever, maybe the longest travel day ever. We made our way from Australia over to one of our favorite cities in the world, Las Vegas. Yes, it was very brutal but we survived, we're feeling good, you can't be too tired in Vegas. I feel like it just has the best energy. So we're not huge gamblers but when we used to live in San Francisco it was a super cheap flight over to Vegas so we would come here all the time and we loved just roaming the strip and checking the place out and going to shows but what we loved most of all was going to the buffets. So Vegas is actually known for having tons of buffets and today we are going to find out... Whoa! Oh! So today we are going to check and see if it's worth it to pay for the most expensive buffet or to stick with the cheapest one. Alright, let's go get our buffet on. First up we have found what we believe is the cheapest Vegas buffet. It is here at Arizona Charlie's. What's the quality going to be like? Are we going to get food poisoning? I don't know, let's go find out. So we're heading in but I think we are going to have to sign up for their players card to get the cheapest price so... Yeah, we'll see. See how that goes. Awesome, thank you! Thank you. A little champagne and a piece of cake too And we might get that in a bit. Thank you though Apparently it is the casino's anniversary today. So you get champagne and cake I think this is a good omen for how today's gonna go. Hi, can you sign up for the rewards card? Yes You guys will get 10% discount when you go in any of our dining Okay Thank you We are officially members We have our champagne Now let's go try this cheap ass buffet We've gotten free champagne and now they're giving us Free strawberry daiquiri I'll take it It's a little sweet but it's good Woo! Very cold It is still the cheapest buffet but we actually came on a Friday So they upped their game You get prime rib tonight So I think we ended up paying $17.99 But on a weeknight You would pay $11.99 I'm not sure how we get to the solid legit and epic stage But uh So technically you can get this buffet for $9.99 So that is the cheapest buffet The cheapest We have been seated. We are about to head up to the buffet See what it's all about It smells good And we are very hungry so And we have another expensive buffet that we're gonna eat later today So we gotta take it a little bit easy Alright let's go So they seem to have All of the usual things Pizza, pasta, salad They also have a little Mexican food section And a little Chinese food section And then your prime rib and carving station Lots and lots of desserts So far just by the look of it It doesn't look as bad as I thought it was going to be No it's actually Maybe they are putting on their A games Since it's their anniversary and it's a Friday night But not as bad as I thought Let's load it up and see how it tastes So pizza I feel like is notoriously Bad at buffets So I'm very curious to see how this pizza Compares to the more expensive Buffet that we are going to go to after this It actually doesn't look that bad I mean as Buffet pizza goes Having a hard time deciding what Desserts to get I mean I guess it's a buffet So we could get all of them I don't know what are you gonna choose? I don't know I think I wanna do the carrot cake Look how cute he's got a little carrot on him I on the other hand am sticking with the cheesecake Oh yeah Alright our early-ish dinner Whatever we're calling this is served So I got the Prime rib which I'm very excited To try I also got some Macaroni and cheese because I feel like that's a staple Of a buffet I got their fish Just to try and see what fish Is like at this buffet and then I got some They were called drunken noodles and then I can't remember what this was like some Asian Chicken stir fry and then One cheesy ravioli to see how Their pasta goes let's put their prime Rib to the test I haven't had prime Rib in a really long time I feel like Get a center cut piece So he was cooking all this fresh up there and it Looks pretty juicy and pretty delicious Nice they put some sauce on there they also had some Grilled veggies on the side that you could have gone Or gotten to go with it let's see It's really good I'm impressed It's really tender really Flavorful not chewy At all I would eat this at home So you have to come on Friday to get The prime rib yeah Friday and Saturday So this doesn't come with the cheaper buffet But we really wanted to try it anyway I got a lot of buffet staples I feel like On my plate I got the vegetables because vegetables I feel like are always hit or miss And I got the pizza as I mentioned earlier I want to see what the pizza what the quality Of the pizza is and how it compares to the next buffet Little piece of chicken and then I think there's like a tamale in here or something like That I'm not really sure it'll be a surprise But first I'm going to give this piece of pizza A try I put a little parmesan cheese on there Mmm The crust is a little Bit chewy but the flavor of the pizza is Actually pretty good it's really cheesy And nice and salty and I think that Inevitably the pizza just kind of sits Up there and kind of bakes under that lamp So it gets a little bit chewy but the flavor Itself is not that bad next up is The chicken now he was grilling all this Fresh back there and you can see it looks nice And juicy and tender and I think it's actually going to be pretty tasty Mmm Mm-hmm Pretty good piece of chicken it's moist But it is a little drier than it looks It doesn't have a ton of seasoning on it so there's not A ton of flavor other than just the chicken and the little char marks Which isn't too bad but all of it so far Has been better than I was expecting for the cheapest buffet In Vegas what are you going to try next? I'll try the fish Because I'm scared of it getting cold Um don't have High hopes but we'll see Oh it's cold To be honest I usually Stay away from the fish at a buffet just because it's never Usually any good usually not a great Idea it is really mushy Not really flaky anymore just mushy but There's a lot of seasoning in there It was in like a whole vat of Butter and seasoning so It's really salty I guess the Flavor is nice just the texture Is not very fishy anymore Alright little macaroni Let's see how you are Why is it so hard to get a bite? The macaroni looks good macaroni is hard to Mess up though I think Is it? I don't know It's buffet macaroni And cheese It's not going to win any awards but It tastes like macaroni and cheese I guess so that's a win It almost tastes like Nacho cheese on there or something It's really creamy I guess at least that's nice With the vegetables the question is I'm sure they're previously frozen but are they microwaved How long have they been sitting up there Are they cooked thoroughly the carrots a little Hard so maybe not I think the carrot Is the measure because those Everything else can be cooked okay and the carrots still be cooked poorly It's not that bad the carrots crunchy but not too Crunchy it's got some kind of sweet Sauce or something in there just a subtle sweetness which is Nice and I mean They're definitely previously frozen but I really can't tell if they were Microwaved or just quickly heated up or something Like that We've dug into everything and I'd say the highlight for me was Probably this tamale it was In a little husk over here And actually had a lot of flavor to it I was surprised it's pretty good I had some of this chicken in here The deep fried like Asian chicken And then in this noodle dish And the fish were all not good The only meat that was Pretty good was the prime rib I will say though everything Was seasoned pretty well Just most things were Over cooked or dry And they do have some made to order sections Up there that we do like stir fries I think and made to order pasta So maybe give that a go when you're here But now maybe the point of redemption I don't know We've got cheesecake and carrot cake to try Alright little carrot guy That seems a little squishy in there maybe it won't be dry or anything The outside is pretty dry Has like a little lemon taste to it It's actually the flavor is really good in there I guess no complaints For the price we paid for the buffet Last but not least We have this little piece of cheesecake Now cheesecake is probably my favorite dessert Of all time And I've had some pretty good ones in my day So I don't know if this is really going to stack up But I remain hopeful So we've got a little strawberry sauce on there Let's give it a go The flavor isn't too bad But the texture is not that great It's just really creamy pudding texture It almost tastes like pudding Tastes like vanilla pudding a little bit With a little cheesecake flavor to it I mean it's all really cheap artificial kind of ingredients Obviously because it's a cheap buffet But for being a cheap buffet not that bad Will I eat the whole thing? Probably not Would you like a bite? So we have officially tried the cheapest buffet in Vegas Now we have to kill a few hours Before we try the most expensive one And I think I know just what to do The next buffet we're heading to is in Caesars Palace This place is going nuts you guys It's Friday night everyone's going crazy We are staying down at the end of the strip And it is like snooze town USA Yeah compared to this We've been lost for a minute I'm not going to lie But we saw a sign for the buffet So we're going to run to it right now You guys look at how much we just paid for this buffet Holy cow Most expensive buffet we've ever paid for that's for sure It better be good Alright we've been chosen They're literally giving us a tour of all the food before we sit down I don't even know where to start here Our host told us that There are over 500 dishes At this buffet They have a lot of things like our last one They have a fresh Mexican station A carving station But this one also has a whole Sushi section A dessert area I thought buffet desserts could not be good But this is proving me wrong But now I guess we have to go find things to eat I am really nervous about this It's so much pressure I don't even know where to begin But we're going to give it a try You guys they have a whole ramen section over here Everything looks so fresh and delicious I'm freaking I feel like I'm in heaven Whatever price they would have named I would have hated It's beautiful, it's absolutely beautiful Guys look at all this sushi that they have right here Holy cow You can have any of it All of it, you can take that tray probably to your table Don't mind if I do We got crab claws Sea snails Chilled tiger prawns Snow crab legs, pacific oysters Holy cow I don't even know how to eat half of these things Because they're so fancy This place is certified bananas It gets a one banana Maybe two bananas Maybe like three bananas So we have pretty much looked at everything in this buffet We're completely blown away as you've seen We're not really sure where to start So our idea is we're just going to go to one end From one end to the other And get all the goodies we can find Okay we did our first pass I think there will be many passes We tried to get some things that are similar To what we got at the last place To give you a little comparison From our cheapest buffet I don't know if it's even fair To do this though to be honest Okay but let's start with The prime rib here Already the piece of prime rib here Is about 50 times bigger At the last place It is absolutely beautiful Look at this it's huge Oh my god The prime rib was the draw at the last place I feel like the prime rib is like Maybe the last thing people would get here After the crab legs and sushi And all the stuff Here we go I didn't even put any sauce on that And it's fantastic I think it was like coffee Crusted prime rib Or something like that Oh my gosh It's so good So we got a bunch of crab legs But I think we're going to wait to try these off camera Just because we don't have the cracker And we don't even know how the heck to eat crab legs But just know that they exist here They also have cold already sliced crab legs If that's more your style And it is just completely unlimited Oh yeah and we got the biggest cup of butter to go with that I'm going to try this pizza Because it looks a lot better Than the pizza we had this morning This looks like a real piece of pizza I almost feel bad saying that all this stuff Was good at the last buffet Because I had no idea what was in store for us This piece of pizza looks so much more legit Than the one this morning And I have a feeling it's probably going to taste a lot more legit Everything just tastes So much more high quality and fresh And really the main difference Is the crust You know the crust At the first place we went was like a piece of cardboard That you were kind of gnawing through The flavor of the pizza wasn't that bad But this is better And the crust is just so much more legit And you can see the operation that they have going back there Looks pretty legit as well Pretty dang good piece of pizza I thought buffets only had one type of macaroni and cheese This is proving me wrong This is like fancy macaroni noodles And the sauce looks super thick And homemade This is rich And creamy And tastes very authentic And not boxed at all So there is so much stuff you can get at this buffet And they're about to close We really don't have time to try it all Our waitress just came by and she was like It looks like you guys are having fun taking your photos But I just want to let you know The buffet is closing in about 30 minutes We at least wanted to compare the stuff that we had this morning To the stuff here But obviously they have a whole bunch of stuff Like the crab legs Sweet potato tots This is one type of lamb I believe they have like 4 different types of lamb This is some little puree With peas They had also lamb shanks And all sorts of stuff Different types of duck Pork belly I want to try one of these tots I think they might have maple syrup on them Or something Oh yeah Oh my god It's so good I think we did this buffet right Look at our feast we have here Oh my god We've got tacos Some tonkatsu ramen over here All kinds of stuff A big tray of desserts that we're going to try in a bit I mean you guys they even have raw oysters Like what is this Only in Vegas at the buffet It's amazing Oh man That was amazing It was perfectly sweet not fishy at all Oh my gosh it was so tender I would have never said Eating buffet oysters a good idea But at this buffet do it I would say yeah if you want to jump start a diet Or go to the hospital yeah That's how you eat oyster buffets Or buffet oysters It is officially dessert time They had such an insane dessert spread up there you guys We've got a little creme brulee over here This is a key lime tart We've got a turtle cheesecake Guy over here brownie And then of course this is cherry cheesecake We had strawberry cheesecake this morning But I'm going to give it a try and do a little comparison It definitely has Little chunks of fresh cherries in it which is a good sign It's good but I wouldn't say It's that much better It's marginally better than the one I had this morning I feel like cheesecake Even when it's bad it's still pretty good I think we've done all sure that you come early So you're not pressed for time trying to stuff your face with everything Before they kick you out This has been amazing So we grew up in the Midwest and we are used to some buffets That were a lot like the first one we went to We've never experienced a buffet like this Oh my gosh Hands down one of the best dining experiences I think we've ever had We're going to go to
