We tried fast Eddie's in Barcelonas stunning Gothic Quarter and headed to "La Fragaria" afterwards. From classic smash burgers, fried chicken and veggie burgers to chocolate covered strawberries: Barcelona's Food Scene has something for everyone.
We are actually on our way to try some viral spots today with Kwan's family.
They found some spots to eat on the TT, if you know what I mean, and we're gonna go to a burger
place. We're gonna go to a chocolate strawberry place. Kwan, how are you feeling? I'm feeling
pretty good. I think it's been a really long journey and I'm not quite used to the time zone
yet, but I'm really excited to continue this journey and just experience new things each day
I meant the food, but this is also quite informative.
Well, you said how am I feeling. I know, I know. That means how am I feeling.
And we want to know. We want to know. Yeah. I'm excited. I am normally trying to eat locally, but
also we have to see if a place is viral, if a place is like, you know, very, very popular.
There's normally a reason for that. So let's see how good those places are. On our way to the first
spot, Fast Eddie's, which is a burger place down in the Gothic Quarter, we came by this
market and of course the stunning Gothic Cathedral. Fast Eddie's is a hidden spot in one of the little
alleys. And as you can see, there was a long line, but the wait was worth it. So you basically walk
up, they take your order. And since they don't have seating inside, we decided to wait outside.
Fast Eddie's has a bunch of different burgers, double double fries. And on Fridays, they have a
fish sandwich. They also have a vegetarian option, which I tried for you guys. And while we waited,
we could see those beautiful alleys. Afterwards, we decided to go for a little walk and find a spot
where we could sit. I had the fried cauliflower burger and it had a lot of like Indian spices,
a lot of curry, and it was really, really good.
And this is what Kwan's hamburger looks like. Afterwards, we headed over to the next spot,
a chocolate strawberry place. And to be honest, I was still so hungry. So I was really glad that
we were getting dessert. The burgers were really good, but Kwan and I had such a big hunger that
day. So we both were craving something more. And it was also something that his family found and
they were really excited to try it out. After a few minutes of walking in these beautiful streets
here, we actually went to La Fagadilla, which is... Oh, I don't want to be in his shot. Which is a
little chocolate strawberry place. They basically have fresh strawberries and they have different
kinds of chocolate and then toppings as well. So we're definitely going to try that out. Kwan's
family actually found that online. It looks delicious. It smells delicious. I love chocolate
covered strawberries. So let's see if it's really good. So we got our chocolate and strawberry. I
have the milk chocolate and white chocolate. And Kwan got all three sorts. Let's try.
All right, let's see it. All right. Very nice. I like mine.
What do you think? You like it? Could have gotten the big one. It's really, really good. We just had
burgers, but otherwise I would have probably gotten the big one. The strawberries are super
fresh. I know that Spain does have a lot of strawberry fields. I don't know if those are
Spanish strawberries already, but either way, it's really good. And afterwards, we made our
way back to the hotel, but I did want to show you guys a little bit of the environment because
Barcelona has so many stunning buildings. I would actually really love to live in one of these one
day. I really hope you enjoyed this vlog.
