Hey everyone, it's Ben Hardy here and in today's video, I'm going to be going over a 2022 GMC
Yukon Denali XL. First and foremost, a huge shout out and thank you to the National GMC here in
American Fork for giving me some time with this Yukon Denali. Check out their inventory link below.
Let's get right into the video. Under the hood, we have a Nachi aspirated 6.2 liter V8 that goes
through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is 13 around town and then 19 on the
highway with power outputs being 420 horsepower and then 460 pound feet of torque.
Now, let's go to the front end of the Denali. So first off, I love the lines here on the hood.
Just makes it look really nice and muscular. Coming down below, we've got the full LED lights.
Now, the accent lights don't actually flicker in person. That's just because the frame rate of the
camera, but you can see just how bright those lights are. And I don't know, I've always been
a fan of the C-shaped LEDs that GMC has done over the last few years. And you can see the
fog lights just down below. We've got the parking sensors all along the front and you can see just
how massive and imposing the front grille is here. And I love how the GMC logo looks as well.
Notice we have the front camera just down below that. And other than that, that is the front end.
Now, coming to the side here, we've got two 75 millimeter tires wrapped around 22 inch wheels
in the front and over in the rear as well. And then you can see the design here on the wheels
themselves looks really good. And I'm usually not a fan of 22s, but I think GMC nailed it from a
design standpoint. And it goes with the overall size of this particular vehicle. Now, here's a
quick look at the front suspension right there. And I like how they did the molding right here.
I think that looks really good. Got another GMC logo, got our Denali badge on the side. And then
also the mirrors are body painted. And then also we have the chrome accent here on the door handles
and then around the windows. And you can see the rails there at the top, and then also more
chrome accenting along the side. And then there's your full side view. So here's our key fob. We've
got the unlock, the lock, the remote start, and then notice we have the opening for the window
and then for the full hatch itself. So we'll press that twice and that'll pop everything open from
the rear perspective. And wait for it. There we go. Now, actually popping here into the back,
I think this looks fantastic right here. Definitely gives it that upscale luxury car
appearance. And then you can see the storage space back here. And then notice we've got these
for the seats. So you can lower down the second row, you can raise and lower the third row.
So for example, I can hold that down and then that'll raise that seat or I can press it again
and that'll lower that seat down. But you can see being the XL, you have quite a bit of storage
space behind the third row itself. And so that's one of the biggest benefits of getting the XL
right is the extra storage space. And then if you actually fold down the third row, you can see just
how much more storage space you get. It's pretty crazy. But yeah, other than that, that's everything
for that portion of the back. So you can just press this button right here and that'll close
everything up. Wait for it. Ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom, ba-da-bam.
Now let's finish things up here in the rear. So first off again, we've got those
C-shaped lights here in the back. I love the look of the exhaust tips here as well. Gives
it a nice sporty appearance. And we've got the Yukon Denali badge right there. And you've got
the covering over the receiver hitch there at the bottom portion. And there's a quick look at the
GMC logo. And that's where the camera is if you were wondering. And aside from that, that is all
for the rear. Now here is the door panel in the rear. First off, notice we've got this really nice
wood trim. And then you actually have leather and stitching here at the top and then down below.
And I like how they do the stitching here. Look at that. Very interesting. And then notice we've
got the door lock and unlock and then the window control right here. Got the Bose sound system,
got a speaker there and just up above it. And then I've got this folded down so that we have
a better view here of the third row. So I've actually been in the third row of quite a few
of these. And it's one of the vehicles that you can actually very comfortably fit adults. You have
a decent amount of legroom and then headroom is great. And then on top of that, you do get some
cup holders, some nice amenities, right? And then you can see you've got the USBs there on either
side. So that also helps out. And then as you have that to help with getting out of the third row.
And we're going to pop up the second row. So you can actually do this with one arm. You got to
muscle it a little bit and then that'll pop everything up. And then you do have this right
here, which you can use to slide the seat back into place, which will give you a little bit more
space. But with all that being said, let's pop in. Now sitting here in the second row, you guys can
see legroom is great, headroom as well. And then also you have the storage pocket here. Got a couple
cup holders. And then also we have the climate controls here for the back. We have heated seats
here for the back, a bunch of areas where you can charge devices. And I popped on the screens here.
Sorry about the glare. You guys can see my reflection. But notice you have quite a few
controls. So for example, you've got the navigation right here that you can press and that'll actually
pop you into that screen right there. And then you can see the other screen shows the same thing
while that's loading up. But yeah, we actually have access like the navigation, for example.
So it's actually pretty cool. These are like kind of not quite like an infotainment system,
like what you have in the front, but they're almost like a second infotainment system and
I guess third infotainment system. But yeah, that's everything for this part of the back.
So let's head to the front. Now here's the door panel at the front. So again,
we've got the wood trim here. And then notice we've got all the leather and again, that same
stitching design. And then here's the mirrors at the front. They do a blind spot monitoring. And
then we've got the memory seats, got all of your window controls. And you've got your mirror
adjustments. The mirrors do power fold in. And we have the speaker for the Bose sound system.
Got our Denali plaque. And then here's the front seat. Again, we've got the Denali logo. Again,
that same stitching and then perforated leather here down the center. All of your adjustments on
the side of the seat. And then here's the pedals just down below. And then we have a bunch of
controls over here. So we've got the light controls right here, which includes the fog lights.
We have this to actually raise and lower it because this does have the air suspension.
And then it's also the drive mode select. And then we have the drive line select above that,
which this has two wheel drive, four wheel high and four wheel low and then auto.
And then we have our lane departure here, stability control, the hill descent control.
And then that's for the parking sensors. And then for the outlets, heads up display. And then this
is for the stuff in the information center. And then we've got that for the trailer brakes. The
steering wheel is automatically adjustable. Wow, that was a lot, but there's room to look before
we pop in. Now here is the steering wheel. Again, we've got the Denali logo there in the center.
We've got your voice command, phone controls, controls for the center stack. Have our cruise
control on the other side with the follow function and the heated steering wheel button right there.
And then notice we have our turn signal slash windshield wiper stock. And well, that's all for
the steering wheel. Now here is the center gauge cluster. You can see we've got analog gauges on
either side. And then we have that screen there in the center, which you can scroll through different
bits of information. So like you have your homepage and then you have like vehicle info,
and then you've got your music navigation phone, and then you've got the settings as well. And yeah,
that's pretty much everything in that portion. Now here is the gear selectors. You've got your
park reverse neutral drive, and then the low range as well. And then notice that you can actually
shift the gears, those little buttons right there, and then the wood trim. And here's the infotainment
system. First off, we're actually going to pop it into reverse. So notice that we have the bird's
eye view, as well as the backup camera with the trajectory lines that turn with the steering wheel.
And then you can change to the front view right there. And then once you have the zoomed in
portion right there, and then the views at either side. And then also that's like a close up on the
receiver hitch. And then you can turn the lines on or off or just do like the towing line. So
there's a bunch that you can see from a camera perspective with this really solid with the
cameras. And then also on the home screen, you can actually go to the camera as well. So that's also
kind of like another way to get to that. But overall response time on the infotainment system
is great. You guys can see just even with the plastic covering, it's just instantaneous. Also, we've
got Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. And then I guess I will mention again, look at all the
leather here. Definitely nice. Like everything is covered in leather here in the Denali, which is
nice. We've got our analog controls down below for the infotainment system. So like these are some
shortcut buttons. And then we've got our climate controls. Again, remember, we have the climate
there on the rear, but then we have the two here for the front, heated, cooled seats. And then
notice you can access the rear climate with those buttons right there. And then we have this nice
wood trim right here that actually covers everything up. So you just press it. And then when
you want it to go away, you just press it again. And you guys can see here, we've got the wireless
phone charging, set up all that fun stuff. And then we've got some cupholders with more wood trim.
And so that's why these go like that because they technically connect. And then we have the center
console here. Again, it's got the same stitching design. You can put your phone there on the top,
which is nice. And then you can see we've got all the storage space right here. And then look at
that wood trim there on the dash. There is your glove box situation. But yeah, I just want to
mention like, yeah, literally, I know I just said this before, but like the whole interior is just
leather. It's definitely nice. And then this does have a full panoramic sunroof. The controls for it
are just right here in this area on either side. And then you have this for the tailgate in the
back and then to drop down the seats, universal garage door opener, and then it is an all black
headliner. So here's our window sticker. Feel free to freeze the frame if you want to read all of the
equipment on this particular one. This is all the standard stuff, if you guys are wondering.
Quite a bit to go over, you can see. And then here's all the options. I mean, this thing is
fully loaded. Wow. There's a total price, $87,230. Now that's going to sum things up here for our
video on this Yukon Denali. I want you guys to let me know in the comment section below
what you think of it. I think this thing is definitely really cool. It's like a presidential
vehicle basically. But yeah, that's our quick walk around on this one. Now let's get some
things up for a video on this GMC Yukon Denali. Again, a huge shout out and thank you to the
National GMC here in American Fork for giving me some time with the Denali. Check out their
interim link below. I'll see all of you in the next video.
