Large Dog Agility 1st Place - Incredible Dog Challenge 2015 Huntington Beach CA

Cindy Gray now comes out onto the field with her dog Joy, a four-year-old golden retriever. You mentioned all the breeds, Schleen, different types of breeds. Usually the border collies are very quick in this competition, but typically they're in the category of small dog because they're nice and light, a little bit smaller. So I'm gonna ramp it up some of the retrievers, some of the labs that we see here in the large dog competition. Beautiful dogs. Well, the herding and working breeds, the border collies, the Australian shepherds, do excel at this event. As you can see, the retrievers can all be trained to do it too. You just typically see a lot more of the border collies and Australian shepherds here. The retrievers love the water events, the diving dog, but you just need to find what they love to do and work with them on it. You're looking at the fourth competitor here in round one of the large dog agility competition. Cindy Gray and Joy. Cindy says that Joy has incredible ground speed and blazing fast through the weave. So that's obviously an important part of this large dog agility competition. Cindy has been a computer consultant for 31 years and now working as a dog trainer. So turning in the computer for her dog training job, that's a great move. Here we go. Starting way out in front of him. This is the tricky part. Redirect him back around the jump. Very nice. Wow. Fast dog. Very fast through those weave pulls. You can tell she's doing a great job with the commands here, Chalene. Really good communication. She's got the knee brace. Clearly a little bit of a issue with Cindy meaning, I mean, her left knee has a knee brace on. So she's still hanging in there though. Running fast. Wow. Look at this run going. This is going to be fast and so far. Let's get it through the last one. Wow. 35.26. 35.26 for Cindy Gray and Joy. Just nailing that run. Very quick through the weave, Chalene. So fast. I think the fastest that we've seen. And hopping through in small dog, which you don't always see. Usually dogs do a one step, but you know, whatever works for them to get through it and get through it fast. And that was lightning fast. Purina ProPlan. Nutrition that performs.
