Being the SV trim line, this one is right in the middle.
Like I said, there's the S, the SV, and there's the SL Platinum.
There's three different packages you can get with this SV, which is just the standard SV.
There's an SV with a moonroof and there's an SV with a technology package.
This specific one we're looking at today has a technology package, so a lot of technology
features that I will get to in a second.
When we check out the side profile, obviously this one is in the gorgeous Caspian blue here.
Very popular color.
Really pops and really changes color depending on how the light hits it.
Our rear windows come tinted right from the factory and when you go up to the SV model,
you get the silver roof rails here added on.
Also when you go up to the SV, you get the chrome handles, so our door handles are chrome,
which add to the luxury look.
When I look at the front of the 2020 Nissan Rogue, there's not any changes from the 2019
that I reviewed last year.
However, this is a gorgeous vehicle when you check out the front.
We do have the nice chrome Nissan V-Motion grille.
When you go up to the SL, you get the LED headlights.
These ones being SV, they're going to come with the halogen headlights and the LED daytime
running lights.
A lot of sloping body lines through the front of the car.
The Rogue is known for its phenomenal fuel economy.
It's going to boast about 7.1 liters per every 100 kilometers on the highway, largely thanks
to the aerodynamics of this crossover and the CVT transmission.
Fog lights come equipped with this SV package, so you're going to get the LED fog lights
that you don't get in the base models.
We do have the nice chrome front bumper accent there as well.
When I look at the Nissan emblem, I've mentioned this in a lot of my videos, but this is a
pure flat Nissan emblem.
That comes with this technology package because there's a ton of tech in this vehicle, like
the intelligent cruise control.
The sensor here will sense the car in front of you, and it will adjust your speed when
you're using the cruise control.
It also works in conjunction with the ProPilot semi-autonomous driving assistant.
Let's pop the hood and take a look at the power plan here.
The Rogue is equipped with the 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, a similar engine to what's in the
Nissan Altima.
It's been in the Rogue for a long time.
It's going to give you about 170 horsepower and 175 pounds-feet of torque.
Like I mentioned, it's going to come with the Nissan Continuous Variable Transmission,
and that gives you the best fuel economy, 7.1 liters on the highway and 9.1 in the city.
This specific model is all-wheel drive.
You can get the SV in a front-wheel drive package or an all-wheel drive configuration.
It's going to be good in the snow.
Intelligent all-wheel drive, which is going to automatically switch when you're slipping
and sliding.
Again, that is optional for you.
You do have the sport mode and the economy mode as well, so you can adjust your driving
habits to any way you like.
And then it does have the full Nissan safety shield.
Like I mentioned, the ProPilot assist.
You have the intelligent chase control, the active ride control.
Another addition to this technology package is the bigger rims.
So you get these 18-inch rims.
They're up from the 17-inch that you get with the standard SV.
You can see the black and silver throughout the rim.
It's going to be sitting on four vented disc brakes for the front and the back.
And we obviously do have the Nissan ABS braking system as well.
The tires are all-season.
This specific one is all-wheel drive, so maybe you could benefit from snow tires, but they
come all-season.
With the technology package, you also get the remote starter.
So I just need to click the lock button twice, and I hold the remote start button down, and
the vehicle's going to start up.
You get the Nissan intelligent key, so it's easy access.
You can just push the button here to lock and unlock the door, and then you're ready
to get in the vehicle.
When I sit down and start it up, I'm a big believer in these Nissan Zero Gravity seats.
So they're very comfortable seats.
This is an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat, and the two front seats are heated.
Okay, so I got my hands on the wheel of the Nissan Rogue, and a nice D-shaped leather-wrapped
wheel.
So it's a heated steering wheel as well.
Again, that comes with this technology package.
With the technology package, you also get the ProPILOT Assist.
So that's Nissan semi-autonomous driving, like I mentioned.
I've done a ton of videos where I show that off, and you can check those videos out.
Our Bluetooth is right on the wheel, and we have our intelligent cruise control.
So you might ask yourself, is this technology package worth it, or should I buy the regular
SV?
It's about $3,000 from the original SV price, but you get a ton of features.
I've already listed a crap load of them, like the ProPILOT Assist, the sunroof, you get
the motion-activated foot gate in the back, you get the heated and leather-wrapped wheel,
you get the remote starter.
So in my mind, I think the $3,000 is worth it, so you can get those extra features.
The ProPILOT Assist, convenience alone when you're driving on the highway.
With this technology package, you get a few added features to the infotainment system.
You get the 7-inch touchscreen here, and it has the Nissan Connect door-to-door navigation.
Android Auto equipped, that comes standard on the SV.
Very easy to use.
You can use the voice recognition with the car itself, or you can use the Android Auto
and Apple CarPlay.
Another big bonus feature is the around-view monitor.
So you get the 360 camera.
The normal ones just come with this standard backup camera.
This one has the 360 view, which gives you the moving object detection, making it easier
to park.
Digital temperature control is down below, so we can just turn it on.
You see the fans coming on now that I've turned it on to get to 18 degrees.
And I can adjust both sides.
So the Rogue has a huge moonroof, and that comes equipped with this technology package.
It goes almost all the way to the back.
The front one opens up to the environment.
That's what everybody likes.
It makes the car feel a lot bigger and lets a lot of light into the car.
Lots of cargo space in the back of the Rogue.
Again, everybody's favorite feature is the Nissan divide and hide storage.
So this is like an adjustable shelving unit, where you can adjust these things to organize
your cargo and stop things from rolling around.
If you want a deeper trunk, you can take them right out.
They are removable.
The split for the rear is a 60-40 split for the seats.
Sorry, it's hard to reach.
But you can see there's a ton of cargo when I fold the seats down.
This is your privacy cover.
That you can remove as well.
It will clip on right there.
And people can't see what you have in the back when they look in.
Lots of space for your family in the back.
I have the center armrest here, if you only have two passengers.
Obviously, this is a five-seater.
There's enough for three car seats as well.
And you can see I'm sitting up higher, so I can still see out of the front of the vehicle.
And then these seats, you can adjust.
They're on rails, so I can slide them forward and backward.
So that's a wrap on your unlock of the 2020 Nissan Rogue SV Technology Package.
Stay tuned, because I'm going to be doing the other trim lines as they come in.
Like the S, maybe the regular SV.
There is an S Special Edition.
Apparently, halfway through the year, Nissan is going to release 2020.5.
And they're going to redesign a bit of the car.
I'm looking forward to that, and I'll be sure to post that.
