DIY Engagement Ring Platter - Engagement Ring Tray Decoration Ideas - Ring Tray For Ring Ceremony

So, hey everyone, welcome to my channel. This is me, Gayatri and you are watching Gayatri's Craft. So in this video, I'm going to show you how to make this ring platter at home. I will explain each and every step. So do not skip even a single second. As you know that I want my viewers to learn and I value my viewers that they are not just watching, but also learning. I can surely say that that you can make this ring platter by yourself after watching this video. So without any further ado, let's just start this video. So here I'm using 12 inch wooden base. I got this in a local market. You can buy these type of base from Amazon. Link I mentioned in description. You can check. I'm covering this base with white paper because I will cover it with white satin cloth, which is sheer. So first I have to cover it with something white. You can also paint it with white color if you have. And here I'm covering it with white chart paper using a fabric glue. And if you don't have this type of wooden base, then you can also use a thick cardboard instead of a wooden base. You just need to cut that cardboard into a round shape. And yeah, it's ready to use as a base. So this is off white piece of satin cloth and this is half meter for sticking satin. Do not use fabric glue or any liquid glue because it will leave stains on it after drying. So for sticking satin, always use hot glue gun. And you can also use double sided tape. So here I'm using double sided tacky tape. This type of tapes are available on Amazon. You can buy it from there. Link I have provided in description. Apply tape on corners and remove cover of tape, then paste cloth on it. These are pearl stickers, I will paste it on its border. You can also use any type of lace if you don't have these type of pearl stickers. And these stickers are easily available at any local stationery and you can also buy it from Amazon. Link I mentioned in description. Here I'm using the wooden ring. I got this on order. This is 12 inch ring. So here I'm applying primer on wood before painting. So it will not absorb the paint. And here I'm using chalk primer, mixing it with kerosene. I'm applying it's very thin layer on all over the wood. And I tried to find these type of wooden rings on Amazon, but I didn't find any exact same ring. There is a different type of ring, but this is available in same size. So you can try it out. And if you want to make it at home, then you can also make it by using cardboard. You need a thick cardboard for this. Then cover that cardboard ring with the paper and then you can paint it. So here I'm using sandpaper for smoothing its surface before painting. And here I'm using golden spray paint. Use it's three to four layer for perfect finishing. It's completely dry now and ready to use. I'm using ring boxes. I bought this from a jewelry shop. Then I will cover these ring boxes with the golden decorative shade. These type of shades available on Art and Crafts material store. You can easily find out these type of golden shades. And I also mentioned it's link of Amazon, if I find. This is plastic thread. Here I'm making pearl string using a plastic thread and pearls. This is a fabric glue. Apply a small amount of glue on thread then put pearl on it. So here I'm using three pearls in each thread. So I made total nine pearl strings and one long pearl string. Here I'm using artificial flowers for decoration. I got these flowers from local market and I tried to find these type of similar flowers on Amazon. If you wanted to buy, you can check. It's links are given in description. First, we will paste three pearl strings. Then we will paste flower on it. Paste these flowers using a hot glue gun. And if you don't have hot glue gun, you can also use fabric glue instead of this. Fill fabric glue in joints and leave it for the overnight for complete dry. Here I'm using different type of fillers like pearls, artificial pollen flowers, foam flowers, paper flowers and pearls. This is a golden acrylic couple name ring. This is a glass acrylic sheet. I got this in a local market. You can also try out in your local market and you can also try order it on Amazon. I find a seller who's selling these type of golden acrylic name rings. Link I have mentioned in description. You can check and paste this using a fabric wick. So here I'm using cork string light. It's completely ready and there is no necessary to use exact same material that I used in this video. You can use your own material which you have.
