Hello my name is Silia and welcome to the first broadcast of ICI FRANCE here in Paris What do you like best about Paris Everything I love Paris What do I prefer in Paris Cheers The city itself is great it's cultural there's a lot to do Many restaurants and bars for the young people it's very lively It's a dynamic city there's a lot to do it's a capital if you will Where are you from From Nice from Strasbourg Do you live here No I live in New York What do you think of Paris Paris is a magnificent capital there are plenty of cultural things to see it is very rich The culture the museums the concerts the city it's alive there are lots of people Paris is a city that has given you many opportunities in everything for studies for cultural training for work What would you say is the most characteristic thing about France It's a very beautiful country What do you think of Paris It's a beautiful city a bit big but it's okay it works out What I think of Paris is that it's a very beautiful city and that I love to walk around there and today we chose to come from Provence to take a walk in Paris There are plenty of bars plenty of restaurants plenty of cultural things to do with the museums plenty of nice places and plenty of parks as well really there's a lot to do All these stories all this architecture It's the most magnificent city in the world The most favorite place in Paris Montmartre Pigalle all of that Where do you have to go here in Paris The Eiffel Tower of course and then there are many others the Arc de Triomphe there is a lot to see in Paris lots of museums it's a very cultural city so there is a lot to do You have to stick with Paris you have to go fast and you have to run all the time So if you could define the word "parisien " how would you Parisien Rushed Hurried Energetic elegant cultured Well I'd say energetic romantic but also hardworking I think they still have a little more work to do but it's okay they're nice they're in love in each country it's different we have our cultures Regardless they don't worry too much I lived here for 10 years the Parisians I don't know sometimes they are nice sometimes they are not Then if you could define Parisians in one word what would you say Parisians Grumpy No one is smiling everyone is angry you can't talk to people like that in the street it's hard Everyone is closed off bitter and resentful let's say two words It's mean They're just stereotypes Parisians are mean and not in a good mood That's not true it's not necessarily true They might be a bit less warm than us Less warm less welcoming you could say I think many Parisians don't realize how beautiful the city is What do you like about Paris What do I love about Paris Everything
