Good afternoon MWM family!!! In today’s video another styling video. This was a suggestion from one of my subscribers. I am showcasing a few style ideas for bathroom counter tops. I know this is an area many people struggle with. I hope this video comes as a helpful tool for you! Everything is linked below.
hi guys and welcome back to my channel if you are new welcome my name is Sienna

countertop styling so if this is something you are interested in watching
just keep on watching but if you have yet to already please be sure to like
comment and subscribe you know to hit that bell button for every time I upload
a video and if you're not already following me on Instagram I would love
to have you over at mom with muscle without further ado let's get into this
video so we are currently in my master bath this is not an area that I
typically film it for obvious reasons but this video is actually a suggestion
from one of you guys wanting some countertop kind of bathroom styling
moments so that is exactly what this video is going to entail now for those
of you who are joining my channel for the first time I do live in a tract home
and part of a tract home comes you know very basic generic things that they put
in the homes now we are slowly updating to try to make our home feel a little
bit more custom to us so the chrome faucets are going to be leaving and
actually I've already replaced the drawer pulls with black I want to take
down the mirrors I want to get rid of the medicine cabinet so there's a lot of
things here in my home that I'm slowly updating but obviously one project at a
time so today's video I'm going to be putting together a few styles for you if
you are struggling with this area when it comes to styling your bathroom now
one thing I do want to stress I do take a less is more approach so these
styles are not going to be rocket science they're very simple very minimal
that is just how I like to do things especially when it comes to a bathroom
where you want it to be functional you do not want to crowd the space with a
bunch of stuff with canisters and q-tips and cotton balls less is more so these
styles are very straightforward straight to the point but I figured it would be
fun to give you guys a little bit of inspiration and yeah let's get into it
everything will be linked down in the description box if I can't link it
because I am shopping my own home and getting creative so let's get into it so
let's start with the first style that I have in here I have simply one tray my
soap dispenser and a towel this tray is from Target it is the studio McGee it's
kind of a light tan color love this tray it's very universal which I love
styling with trays risers anything that has something to kind of ground the
space when it comes to a bathroom so really lean into those items when it
comes to styling this particular area this particular space so yes I have the
tray here and then on top of that tray I have just a beautiful sea sponge I
have my sister's spring candle and then these are actually all of stems that I
picked from my olive tree outside or in a vase of fresh water now if you don't
have an olive tree outside your house no worries you guys can either pick some
tree stems from a local tree fully and just free take advantage of it or you
can also use faux stem so this is a very simple look again less is more but it's
a very beautiful and simple approach to selling bathroom so this is look number
now a simple trick when it comes to your bathroom is soap dispensers these are
something that can make a simple change when it comes to styling the surface so
currently I just had a black pump from CB2 and if I just switch it out with
this one that I got from home goods it's got a little bit of writing on there
this really does change the look of the entire aesthetic of this so you can
either go for a more minimal approach with something that has no writing on it
or you can add something with a little bit of verbiage if you like that look as
well so that was just kind of a little side note for you guys when it comes to
your soap dispenser so with this style I'm going to have to shift a little bit
and then I will have some b-roll so you guys can see the overall look because I
do have items on both sides of me so starting on this side all I did was I
brought in a fresh bouquet these are all items from my garden I'm so proud of my
garden right now but I think bringing in a fresh bouquet of fresh greenery
anything that is live a live factor is very important when it comes to styling
your bathroom so I have a mixture of iceberg roses and eucalyptus rosemary
these are all of stems this is a butterfly bush and I have a little bit
of lavender in there so it's definitely a whimsical garden feel so love this and
the vase is actually from Ikea when I did that Ikea shopping trip a few months
back with my girls now shifting over to this side I have a marble pedestal bowl
that I recently got from Magnolia home the one thing that is a little bit of a
downsize it's a larger size so I did put a full-size soap bars in there but
I have one that is in my Amazon storefront that is currently in my cart
that I want that is a little bit smaller in diameter that I think would go great
with this style you could do little hand soaps instead of full-size hand soaps so
I have again the marble pedestal bowl that is from Magnolia home I went to
home goods and got a bunch of beautiful fresh goat milk bars soap and then to
the left of that I have the marble dish that I have gotten on Amazon that I
talk about all the time and I have paired there a little soap brush and of
course a hand towel so simple less is more I went with more of a luxe kind of
garden-y feel but this is style number two for you
so style number three has a little bit more going on for those of you who like
busier style so we're gonna start on the left-hand side and work our way over so
again I incorporated another tray lean into your trays lean into your pedestal
bowls lean into something that's going to ground the space it just corrals all
your items together creating a nice and clean style so this tray is from Target
it was a part of the Studio McGee line I believe it's kind of in a light brown
now I have to the right I have three rolled hand towels and then to the left
I just paired a very small bundle of lavender you guys should recognize this
for my actual tray styling video that I put together I have my sister's spring
candle and then a match cloche for lighting now if we make over to the
right-hand side I have that soap dish again from Amazon absolutely love this I
have a brand new bar of goat's milk soap on top of that to the right of that I
have this olive tree that I recently picked up from Magnolia home taking
advantage of their Memorial Day sale so again bringing in some sort of life
factor whether that's faux or real some sort of green element I think this is a
little more functional for a guest bath something that you're not utilizing all
the time it's something that's just really beautiful and presentable if
you're having guests over so that is going to be style number three for you
so this style is very contrasting I have lots of black and white elements to this
style so let's start on this side so first this is a cheese board that I
actually got on Amazon I use this for everything but a cheese board I use this
for decor purposes I absolutely love it because again it takes a flat surface
and just gives it a little bit of height and dimension so it is a marble top with
a wood base and then on top of the tray I have two bases I have a small and I
have a large base that I got from Hobby Lobby they are in this like black glaze
if you guys have catch my laundry room kind of makeover I ended up buying them
for that space in particular so I have a large and a small base again from
Hobby Lobby I have that faux asparagus bush that I rave about I love it I love
that it's whimsical it's wild it's asymmetrical chef's kiss love it and I
think a lot of people kind of forget about reed diffusers when it comes to
bringing in a scent to a room to a bathroom these are great because they're
so long-lasting I got this one I think from Michaels and it's just a simple
vase with your little wood sticks but it's another way to bring in that scent
without having a burning flame so I have just that little reed diffuser right on
top of that tray now to the left of me I have a different soap container the
little wood brush and again that that marble soap tray I love it I think it's
great for styling a bathroom so definitely look into it because it's
only like I want to say 15 bucks 20 bucks very inexpensive but that's this
sale very simple minimal and very clean so that is style number four for you
all right and here's the fifth and final style for you guys let's start on the
right hand side or the left hand side to you guys starting with this this is the
olive arrangement that I did get from Target a while back I love that it is
just kind of free it looks like real just live stems it's whimsy it's not
perfect which I really like it gives it kind of a wild vibe which I like now I
have it paired a geocrystal this is not going to be a style for everybody but I
love anything that has crystal natural energy good energy for that matter so
I've just paired a beautiful geocrystal that I got from home goods and then of
course my sister's spring candle so that is this side now if we move to the left
this is something that I would never do I would never house canisters with
q-tips and cotton balls now that is just my style that is just something that I
do when it comes to style in my bathroom I think that stuff is to be underneath I
don't personally like looking at it now I actually but one thing that I did do a
little bit different I originally had cotton balls in this one but I took them
out and I replaced it with some of those natural sponges to kind of play off of
the Browns that are on the other side of the vanity at the other side of the sink
which I think it's good because it kind of breaks up the tones a little bit but
I have some acrylic canisters there with some q-tips and some sponges and then of
course just my normal black soap dispenser and of course a hand towel so
that is the fifth and final look for you all
I hope you enjoyed coming into my master bath and getting a little bit of
inspiration on decorating your bathroom vanity your bathroom countertops I know
this is an area that a lot of us struggle with because we don't know what
to put on it you want it to be functional but you will also want it to
be very beautiful but again as I stressed in the beginning of this video
think less is more the less the better dumb it down you don't need to put a
ton of stuff on there just keep it very simple clean and minimal but that is it
you guys until next time I love you so much I appreciate you being here I'll
see you guys next time peace
