2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium California Special Package 5.0L Fastback Walk Around & First Look

Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this video. My name is Christopher and I'm very excited because today I'm going to be showing you the 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium. This one has the California Special Edition package. So very cool, a lot of unique features. It's in the gorgeous lightning blue. Let's take a close look. So obviously this one is the coupe, the $2 sports car. It is a four passenger. There's two in the front and two in the back. I really like the nice sharp body lines on this vehicle. Gives it a nice sporty look. You do have the body colored handles there and the black gloss back mirrors. They are breakaway mirrors right on the side and it does come with your Bliss blind spot information system right on the mirror there where it's going to light up if someone's in your blind spot. With this California Special Package you also get this bottom racing stripe. Matches the black on the side mirrors. With the California Special Package you do get these 19 inch ebony painted machined aluminum wheels. Nice two-tone rim with the black and silver and we do have our GT embossed right in the rim. It's going to come with the high endurance 19 inch sport tires. There are Pirellis and we do fill them with nitrogen. Going to give you a great stopping speed especially with the rear disc brake there. Let's take a look at the front of this Mustang GT. Continuing with the California Special Package you do get these black racing stripes along the front similar to the ones on the side. You also get these black dual air splitters right on the hood. Gives it a nice aggressive sporty look and really gives the car a nice sound. The California Special also comes with this very unique black front grille and we have Ford's Mustang badging right on the side there. A very nice aggressive look as you can see it's split up there and you do have a nice body kit down below. Okay the headlights are the high intensity HID pony projection headlamps. Give you a lot of visibility and you do have the LED fog lights and LED turning signal right down below. So gorgeous under the hood this is the 5 liter V8. It's going to pump out about 435 horsepower. Tons of power that you need. This specific one is the six speed select shift automatic. So it is an automatic transmission with the sport mode where you can change your gears. It's going to give you about 9.6 liters per every 100 kilometers on the highway and it's obviously going to come with Ford standard warranty. Three years 60,000 for the bumper to bumper, five year 100,000 for the powertrain and five year roadside assistance. Let's take a look at this nice aggressive rear. We do have the Mustang signature tri-bar tail lights there. Nice gorgeous raised black deck lid gives it a nice two-tone look and matches the black on the back. You do have this nice California special GT bit it's nice big badge right here below your backup camera. Down below are our four backup sensors. As well we have the nice brake and reverse light right in between the dual exhaust there. The sound sounds awesome coming from this car. Checking out the key fob we do have our remote start our lock and unlock and our trunk release and our panic button here. It is keyless so I just need to put my hand on the door handle and open it up. So let's unlock the Ford Mustang and take a look at the interior. My favorite feature about these Mustang GTs I can't really show you during the daytime. You have to be out at the at the night time but basically this one has the mirror pony projection lights where underneath it will project a picture of the Mustang symbol right on the ground as you're getting into the car and it looks very cool when you match the kick plate there because it puts a picture of a pony right on the ground. So there you can see is a nice shot of the pony projection on the mirrors there. Puts a very large Mustang right on the ground in front of your door. California special theme continues throughout as you see we have this nice suede and red stitching interior and on the door we do have our three memory positions for that six-way adjustable driver's seat. Does have the nice leather trimmed driver's seat with the cloth insert. Really hugs you and really makes it feel like you're in there tight when you're going at these fast speeds that this vehicle produces. Right on the interior we do get the Ford Sync 3 navigation system. It takes a second to turn on here but again Ford's new navigation and infotainment system where I can control my climate, my phone, my radio, my navigation, everything right on the touchscreen. I'm not going to get into detail about it. Check out my other video if you want to see more about the Sync 3. Down below we do have our air conditions and heated seat controls here and it is a dual climate control so I can have both temperatures adjusted on each side. Our push button start is down below and I like these nice retro toggles here which are going to do a couple different things. I can toggle on and off my four ways. I can turn on and off my traction control. You can also control your steering wheel mode if you want a normal steering wheel feel, a comfort or a sport steering wheel feel. And there's also four different drive modes which is very cool. I can toggle the switch into the normal mode which is just going to deliver a balanced combination of comfort and sport. You can also change it to the track mode which allows you to do things like the advanced track electronic stability control and you can maximize the effectiveness of the track mode. There's also track apps in the vehicle where you can time things like your 0 to 60 or your 0 to 100. You can go from starting or from moving. There's all different track apps you can use. Then the sport mode is also just going to give you a little more sporty ride, going to give you a bit more responsive steering and throttle performance. And then there is a snow mode. I don't recommend taking your real world drive Mustang out in the snow but it just helps provide a more confident handling when you're slipping and sliding. Taking a look at the steering wheel, this is a nice race inspired leather wrapped wheel. Our cruise control, our bluetooth controls are at the bottom here and then we do have our vehicle information screen controls right on the wheel and our radio controls. It also is going to come with the paddle shifters as this one is the automatic so you can also use the paddle shifters if you like that manual feel. So in the trunk of the Mustang compared to most of its competitors there is a ton of space actually in the trunk. You do also have the shaker audio subwoofer as with this California Special you do get the upgraded sound system and your tire kit is underneath.
