Basement Remodel Time Lapse Rental Update Part 1

Hey guys, Zach here with Zim Construction bringing you yet another remodel video. In this video I'm going to be showing you how I updated this 2100 square foot, five bedroom, two bathroom house. Similar to the last video, this house will also be utilized as a rental property. Three of the bedrooms and one bathroom are downstairs. Two of those bedrooms were recently redone and so those bedrooms are only going to need a few touch-ups like paint, filling some nail holes and caulk, as well as updating simple things like closet doors and things like that. All of the doors in this basement will be replaced. There were five in total counting the closet doors. In the bathroom we'll just be getting a updated paint as well as some shelving put in. The bulk of the project consists of this bedroom here. It had a tongue and groove pine paneling as well as a styrofoam drop-down ceiling that was stapled to the joists. In this video I'm going to try something a little bit different as opposed to narrating the entire process. I'm going to let the time lapse play out.
