One of the greatest pieces of all time today, Beethoven's Minuet in G. Stay tuned.
Hi, this is Glenn Trivets for Hollywood Piano, and today we have our very good friend René
Vanasse to play for us Beethoven's Minuet in G. This is one of the most famous pieces of all time,
and I found out earlier today that it was, at the time, a popular dance. So, I never knew that
before. René will play this piece today on a beautiful Wilhelm Steinberg P-165. Now, I had
the great pleasure of visiting the Wilhelm Steinberg factory in Eisenberg, Germany this
past summer. So, this piano is designed in Eisenberg. It's using their designs and materials,
German strings, German hammers, and it's built in a factory in China, and the result is fantastic
because you have this amazing sound for a tiny fraction of what the German-built Steinberg is.
So, if you're familiar with the warm German sound, you're going to hear that in this piece.
So, without any further ado, take it away, René.
Thank you, René. That was really excellent. So, again, that's a Wilhelm Steinberg
piano. It's designed in Germany, using German parts, and it's built in China. It's a five-foot
five piano, as you can hear. It's lovely, and that's available in our Burbank store.
So, if you have any questions about this piano or any other piano, we're here and ready to help
you with any questions you have by phone, by email. Just contact us, and we're here for you.
