Boiling an egg on a VOLCANO (via scuba-diving)
Braving right, Justice? Okay. Love you, boys. Good morning, guys, and welcome back to the
channel. From here in sunny Guatemala, we're on the shores of Lake Atitlan. I
think that's how you pronounce it. It's right down here. But today is a nice
chill morning. The sound that you hear in the background, this is because the
power went out over the last few days, and so right now they're pumping water
out of the lake, so get the generators running. But we got our breakfast, and
we're ready for a great adventure today. Our adventure today is that we're going
to... I mean, this is actually the entire reason I came to Guatemala, really. You'll
see in the video in just a sec. But the entire reason I came to Guatemala was
just to come to this lake, just like go scuba diving down to the lake, down to a
volcanic vent, and go boil an egg off of a volcano. It sounded like fun. It sounded like, you
know, a normal day in my life. So we're just finishing breakfast. The captain is
getting some gas from up on the hill, and we'll leave in just a minute. Bryn, any
words? This is so good. It is really good. I want to introduce you guys real quick to our dive
instructor. It's Pollo, correct? Yeah. And it's spelled exactly like chicken? Exactly. P-O-L-L-O. Pollo.
Alright, and we've surfaced now. Mission accomplished. The entire purpose of the
trip to Guatemala, it's been accomplished. And so now for lunch, we get some eggs.
But I have to make a very important disclaimer. I'm not cooking. I'm not eating
the eggs that we are cooking. The sand is hot. The volcanic vents are hot. I don't
think it's really hot enough to boil an egg, you know? Like if I left it there for
like two days? I think probably. But also I think it would taste very sulfuric and
probably not very good. And so I didn't really want to make a video follow-up
after this of like, you know, 10 things to do while you're having diarrhea. So I'm
just gonna leave it there. So we actually cracked the egg underwater. I'll put that
clip up here. We cracked the egg underwater, and it's really cool when you
open an egg while you're scuba diving, because usually the embryo will stay
together and it'll float and everything. We accidentally punctured the yolk, but
it's all cool. Because you still get the idea. You can see it floating around and
smashing the egg into the sand, and it's pretty cool. But I feel like it's a
responsibility now to eat some eggs. So like I said, mission accomplished. I guess
we can go home. No, we got many, many more adventures to keep going. So what's up?
I'll see you guys later from, probably from Guatemala in the next video. Who
knows? Okay, see you guys later. Bye.
