So, the focus of today's video is to take a look at some items from the Urban Decay stone collection from last year.
Fake stones right here.
Crystals. My favorite kind of tourmaline, the watermelon.
I also have a few other gems. This is an oval cut.
This is an emerald faceted blue topaz.
Some opal beads.
There's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.
These are really stunning.
It's called the stone vibes collection, and I think there were some eyeliners as well.
And I think this might be on sale right now, so.
Lip glosses.
And this is an eyeshadow palette.
And, of course, we have the beautiful exposed crystal detailing.
Quite lovely inside as well.
The shape of these lip glosses is the main reason why I wanted them, because they are so beautiful.
And they have a vanilla mint.
Vanilla mint.
Scent.
They, um, doubt the formula as not being sticky, and it truly isn't.
I just applied it, and it feels like silk.
I'm actually really impressed with it.
It's quite small, isn't it?
So gorgeous. I don't know if I said it, but this is the shade vibes.
It's definitely giving off good vibes.
This could be off for a gloss. I'm actually quite obsessed with this.
Look at all of the colors.
Almost an orange.
Warm beige, and then it glitters.
An array of beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
It's very minty. It's minty to the point that it's tingling.
So, be prepared for that, but so far I am really impressed.
I really just got this for the novelty of it, but now I'm kind of truly vibing with the product.
So, that's awesome.
This next one is called Power High.
This is more like a peachy-pink-orange.
This is the Gilbert orange.
Light, light, light, light, light.
This one kind of has a yellow base.
The final one is Mercury RX. I think it's going to be a base, blue base.
I'm a sucker for blue lip balm.
These are so cute.
I like that they have a tip.
It's better to trace with.
S-T-O-N-E-L-L-E.
E-R-E-L-L-E.
Really shine.
Beautiful.
This is a little bit more like a peachy-pink-orange.
This is more like a peachy-pink-orange.
That's stunning.
They made an excellent choice with going with the colored acrylic detail.
It really makes this palette look special.
I love it.
It comes with a brush, a dual-sided brush.
It looks like they have four pretty useful matte shades.
I guess they kind of look like the color of clay and rocks.
So it fits with the overall theme.
Dark, interesting.
Brush.
Metal.
I'm obsessed with that.
So beautiful.
There's of course a mirror.
Now we're going to get some crinkle.
The color names are Good Karma,
Jade,
Opal Aura,
Dangers Eye,
Vice,
Antidote,
Hexed Bloodstone,
Ovo,
I don't know if that's Ovo or Ojo, but it's beautiful.
Draw Energy,
Meditate,
and Third Eye.
Now the matte shade is very soft.
Nice.
I disturbed that one, but I just want to take a look up at the pans under the light before I put my finger in the rest of them.
Even the one I just did, Jade, it looks really nice even after I swatched it.
So let's follow the little
speckles, speckles, speckles.
Opal Aura.
These are really creamy,
Dangers Eye, Vice,
and Antidote, Antidote, Antidote, Antidote.
I'm actually swatching pretty well. I'm excited to use this palette. It's so charming.
Okay, these are stunning, you guys.
And now the eyeshadows, they are seriously gorgeous.
I didn't expect to like this so much. I just adore it.
I thought it was going to be okay, but it's
really deliberate.
This is my little Gemstone and Crystals book. I haven't really studied it that much, but it's got gorgeous big pictures.
I thought we could take a look at it a little bit.
The copyright is 1990.
This is Pavilion. I can't see the word, but it's down here, down here, down here.
This is called
to do it, like a middle point, iconic, symbolic gemstone around the Colonel Pavilion.
I can just illustrate it, right?
And then this, so this is like the bottom, that little point side view, and this is the top of the crown.
This big section is called the table.
You have all these little points reflecting light.
Here's a section on diamonds, and of course diamonds are associated with this clear stone, but they can be many different colors.
There's a pink heart diamond, pink heart.
Here's a section on barrel stones, and emeralds are barrels, and aquamarine is a barrel as well.
This emerald is so gorgeous. It reminds me of the Emerald City, I guess.
The color is so rich and green.
Green, green, green.
Barrel is a hard mineral. It has only moderate brilliance.
A little fire.
It's got a beautiful design cut into it.
It's the Shetland Emerald.
It's got a flower and leaf pattern.
Here we go, tourmaline. Beautiful.
Bi-colored. There's blue and pink.
There's some watermelon.
Like all the shapes.
I really like that little positive one.
So, tourmalines are a mineral group whose members display the broader spectrum of gemstone colors.
There's all sorts of colors in tourmalines.
They are sufficiently durable to be fine gemstones, which means they are hard and free of cleavage.
Named for the pile of alphaware it's found.
First found, alpha-8.
It's the tourmaline most often used in jewelry.
Dropped and eufate are less common and are rarely of the appropriate quality.
There are 10 different minerals in the group that are tourmaline, but only 3, the ones I just mentioned, can be used as gemstones.
Here's a really big alpha-8 crystal.
For the quartz. So I guess this is the quartz.
Aside.
A lot of gemstones are frequently confused with tourmaline, including topaz, beryl, peridot, and elucite, and apatite.
Gorgeous green ones. And this one is just stunning.
There's greens and blues and then down here there's yellows.
The blue shot right there.
Zircon and peridot.
Thanks so much for watching this video and spending some time with me, and I hope that you get lots of tingle relaxation from my videos.
And I'll be with you soon.
