-Golden Magnolia Christmas Tree - How To Decorate A Christmas Tree

Today we're going to decorate another full-size Christmas tree and we'll be doing it in a gold and white color scheme. Here's the finished tree. Ribbon can be expensive so make sure you shop around. One of the reasons why I use so much ribbon on this tree is because this year I put it in the center of our living room. If you have it in a corner or just against a wall, one way to save is you can skip doing ribbon on the back. I started with all of these gold ornaments and put them on the tree first. When you start with just one kind of ornament first, it's easier to get a visual of how evenly spaced they are on the Christmas tree. So once I did all the gold, then I started doing some of these different shaped shatterproof ornaments. So then I put those on the Christmas tree and then finished it with some of these little tiny mini Christmas ornaments right here. Those ones were actually in the miniature Christmas tree ornament section. I like using a variety of different sized ornaments because I feel that it makes your Christmas tree have more dimension and there's just more going on and sometimes, especially with Christmas trees, the more going on the more interesting it is to look at.
