What's up you guys?
So a lot of people have actually been asking me to go back
and do my original hairstyle that I first started doing, which was the
pompadour.
So for this video, I figured I would do it
and show you guys how I do it now with the undercut.
And I also have a new product that I'm going to show you guys.
It's Mr. Pompadour's Peppermint Pomade.
So I won't really talk much.
I'll just go into showing you guys how I did it.
Alright guys, so I'm going to be bringing to you a brand new product
I've never used before in a video.
And that is going to be Mr. Pompadour.
Mr. Pompadour has a pretty big line.
They've got a whole bunch of waxes, clays, the pomade, shampoo, and conditioner.
So it's a pretty cool line to go check out.
And today I'm definitely going to be using the pomade
and I'm going to be doing the classic pompadour for you guys.
Disclaimer, maybe not necessarily classic,
since classic is going to be, you know,
slicked back on the sides and the back, the ducktail and everything like that.
But I'm going to be doing the more modern undercut pompadour for you.
Now this pomade is going to give you a pretty medium hold.
It's going to give you, it doesn't necessarily harden throughout the day,
but it definitely gets crisp.
And you don't necessarily have to restyle it by the end of the day,
but you can if you wanted to.
It's moldable and pliable.
As the name suggests, it definitely has a peppermint smell to it,
which isn't overwhelming.
It just kind of sits there and gives your hair a nice peppermint smell, which is good.
So yeah, let me get into it and I'll show you guys what I can do with it.
So the first thing I do is I get my hair damp
and I, you know, comb it through so I get the water as much as I can through my hair.
Next, what I do once I get my product all through my hair with my hand,
I comb it and slick it straight back and that's going to,
you know, thoroughly spread out the product throughout your hair.
All right, now this is the tricky part.
You can either, if you're doing an undercut,
you can either part at the undercut itself and that'll give you a clean hard part,
or if you want, you choose one of your toothed parts from your comb.
So for example, you can either, you know, choose a part right there
and that'll be your part, or you can just go from your undercut.
My little trick, what I do is once I have everything slicked back like this,
I'm going to part the back of my hair first and it's going to
automatically kind of already poof the front of my hair up.
I'll show you.
And once that's done, I just go ahead and style it and pop it up.
So
in the end, that's really all there is to it.
You know, I part over, I pop it up, and I just kind of slick it back on the side right there.
So it's really hard to actually make this video and show you all angles of it while
trying to do it because I need to actually look in the mirror the whole time.
So I'll go ahead and give you a 360 look so you can get a better view of what I did.
So there it is, you guys.
I hope you enjoyed.
I hope I gave you enough angles to actually see it.
As I was making it, I was kind of thinking maybe I didn't, but oh my god, the waves are humongous.
You're not going to be able to see them, but way, like right there,
all the way through is the ocean and the waves are humongous.
I've never seen them that big before.
Anyways, sorry for that.
I got distracted.
I've just never seen that big.
Anyways, this is the how I style the modern pompadour with, you know, the undercut.
And I know a lot of people are going to say,
that's not a true pompadour.
You know, it's not traditional.
It's not classic.
You don't have the side slicked back.
You don't have a ducktail in the back.
I know, but this is how I style the undercut modern pompadour, and I think it looks cool.
Now, Mr. Pompadour's pomade isn't going to give you a lot of holes.
It's not going to, you know, make your pompadour stick straight up, like way up here.
It's going to be a medium to smaller, um, pompadour, which is still cool.
Um, I mean, that's what I usually rock.
Even though my hair is super long and it goes all the way to the back.
Um, but I enjoyed what the product gave me.
So if you want, I also have a lot more, um, reviews coming for Mr. Pompadour.
I also have a discount code that I'll put right here for you guys.
If you want to try it out, I believe it's 15% off.
Go try it.
It's pretty nice.
It smells good and it works good.
And I guess that's, uh, all you gotta know, right?
Go ahead and like, subscribe, uh, share on Facebook.
Do whatever the hell you want to do with it.
But I hope it helped and I'll be seeing you guys next week, hopefully.
