DIY Fashion- How to make holes in your jeans!.

Hi guys! So in this video I'm going to teach you how to make holes just like these with the threads coming out and I'm going to teach you guys how to make shorts in another video but yeah so enjoy! So the first thing you want to do before you even start to cut is to put your pants on and then mark them off with a colored pencil like this or a piece of chalk. So what we need marks here, here, okay can you guys see that? Okay so just do that and then what you're gonna do is take a pair of scissors and pinch it like this and just snip it and I think that using like a pair of shears is better for cutting fabric but I don't have a pair right now so I'm just gonna use a regular pair and you want to make the cut depending on how big you want the hole. So this one's pretty small I think I want it bigger. Okay this is going pretty bad right now. Okay yeah and then you want to make these like about a centimeter apart because if you make your hole too big then it's gonna be harder to take the threads out. So make sure that the holes are about even. Put your finger through and then what you're gonna want to do is what I like to do is just slip it through so it's easier to see where like the holes are and then you're gonna take a pair of tweezers and then just pull out the thread like this and basically the blue strings are vertical like this and the white strings go across horizontally so when you pull them out eventually the white threads would be going across horizontally and it gets easier once you take out more threads. So as you can see right now I already have the white in the middle here and if you have like an extra thread that you took out but it wasn't cut then just cut it with your scissors. Then you can take your scissors again slide it under and put it through to see if you missed any more here um any threads. Yeah and then you should have a pile full of gunk and this is how your hole will look and before you wear these I suggest that you put them in the wash because it'll look better and also what you can do is take it up and take the edges of this and just run your scissors back and forth so when you put it in the wash like that and that's it guys um yeah so I hope you guys like watching this and um you can make your own jeans that are more you more original you know just add your own flavor to them using this technique and happy cutting guys bye
