I MADE A $2000 MISTAKE

Yeah, because I had planned and I knew we were doing this. I'll go first. Hey guys, welcome back to today's vlog. Today has gone so well until the last few moments. I went to put my camera together to start filming for the day and my camera is broken. So right now I'm filming on my phone. I have my camera over here. I have the lens currently off of it. It's right here and this piece won't spin and for some reason it won't autofocus. The other day when I was filming, the wind did blow it over and it landed straight upside down on this piece and so I don't know if something is messed up like jammed or what's going on with that but I called my brother and he said he has an extra lens so that's good because if you've ever bought a camera, you know they are not cheap. In fact, the lens is usually more expensive than the camera body. But right now I'm getting ready to fold these two baskets of laundry. On Fridays, I do all of my laundry from the entire week. Usually I have three to four loads. Today I had four so three of them are up here right now and then I have to wait to do the last load because I need to go to town today and buy a shirt that I need to wash in that load so I didn't want to run the washer just for one thing. But I'm going to go ahead and fold these two baskets real quick and then we will head out to Cole's house and I pray that he can find the problem to this camera. Looks like UPS is here. They've seriously been here every single day this week. I feel really bad but I placed some orders for some t-shirts that I'm making for some people for a family reunion and I ordered them off Walmart and everything is shipping in an individual package. So I got all of my laundry done and Jay's clothes are in here. He always has so much more laundry than me because he actually gets out of the house during the week. I have my clothes in here, towels, stuff that goes to the kitchen and no matter what I do, I will always have socks that are missing a match. I got all the laundry put away and the living room put back together. Usually at night, Jay will scoot this over right here and he will lay here and then I always lay over in that corner and then when we're watching a movie and stuff, we always push this over into that corner and it makes like a big old square. But I wanted to show you guys this. I just put this rug out in our little hallway here and I think it makes the room look so much better. Since I'm getting ready to go, I always start up my Roomba before I leave. Oh, sometimes it does this. So it will come in on the dock crooked and then I have to leave it because it wasn't charging. Usually I run my Roomba while I'm gone mainly because I don't like listening to it. Not that it's really loud, but example, if I'm editing or something, it's definitely a distraction for me until I always run it and then when I come home, it's always done. I'm going to run over to my brother's real quick. I have a laptop that I'm going to return for the weekend and I have my list of the stores that I need to stop in at town and I have my camera right here and I really hope he can help me fix it. Also, how cute is she? Oh baby Ollie, are you taking a nap? Pretty much it never fails that it starts raining right when I get to wherever I need to go. It's like raining really well over here at my brother's. There's puddles everywhere and it's not doing anything at my house. So hopefully it works its way there. Oh, hi Summer. Hello! You're here to pawn free stuff off of us like you always do. You're just such a leech. Well, I need you to fix my camera please. You have $900. I can do it for that. You are my employer. You have my $900. It's okay. I'll just take $2,000 out of your check. All right Summer, look at this. See, you got a crack right there. That's why it's not letting it turn. But don't worry, don't worry because right inside my closet here, I've got like four more of them. Here, let's try this one. Guys, he does love me. It's okay. I'll just take it out of your paycheck. Ha! I fixed it. How do you date this monster? I don't know. I put up with it. I ended up picking up a guest to go with me to town. So we're gonna run a bunch of errands. I have an entire list in my pocket of places. Is there anywhere you need to go? Nope, wherever you want to go, Summer. That's what I like to hear. She's literally perfect. She already knows where to go, what time we got to be there, and she has a list of what time we need to be there. Anyway, as Neva would say, vamanos. We made it to town. First off, gas. Super expensive. Second, we're at their thrift store. And is there anything that you are hoping to find here? Underwear. They do have it at this thrift store. I'm just kidding. No, I, um, sports bras maybe? I guess underwear? A sw- no, no, I'm just kidding. Stop! I'm hoping to find a good book and something houseware-ish. Yeah, me too. Not underwear. Wear some too. I'm gonna sound so dumb. This place is the best at books because they're only 25 cents. When Neva and I go shopping in town, there's always a few constants. So if we go to the Dollar Tree, we always pick up a snack. We do. She usually picks up something sour. Gummy worms. And I picked up Muddy Buddies this time. And then we usually always get food somewhere. And today, we're getting Chinese. But we still have two more stops to make and then we'll go eat supper. Yes. Also, fun fact, Summer is much more bolder than I am. She always picks different snacks and I always get gummy worms. The way we do dinner is that, like, I'll pay and then the next time she pays. And then I pay. And so today is my turn to pay. Do you know what I'm pulling you over for, ma'am? Officer, I promised I wasn't speeding. That would be correct, Neva, because you are currently sitting in the passenger seat. I just got a call from the Chinese restaurant that is a buffet, if I stand corrected, that you took two crab rangoons and put them in your purse. Officer, I can explain. Look. Explain. I put it on my plate and instead of letting them throw it in the trash, I thought, I'll just take these two. It's not like I'm taking a whole plate. Do I need to go return them? I told her. Hold up, hold up. She chooses to associate herself with me. And she's also the one that encouraged I put them in my purse. I was just getting ready to say that. I told her that it was okay because she wasn't gonna throw them away. And she will eat them. Yeah, so it's either in the trash or in my belly. Again, I had full intentions to put it in my belly when I was at the restaurant, but I was full after my watermelon. Hi. Okay, we're back home. My brother ended up filming a video with me, so I took a break for that. But anyway, I have this essential oil shelf that Justin made for me for my living room, and I have not had a chance to stain it yet. I wanted to stain it a dark walnut color to kind of go with my entertainment center. And the other day I was gonna stain it, got everything out, got it all sanded down, wiped down, and then I opened up my can of stain and there was like this much in it. Finally made it to Menards today, bought some more stain, and so now I'm gonna go ahead and stain that real quick. This is what the oil shelf looks like. I found one that looked like this on Pinterest, and then I just showed him a picture and he went ahead and made that for me. What's happening Summer? We had to move inside because it's raining and it's beautiful. I got the oil shelf completely stained. So obviously it's still drying and when things dry they always just dry kind of funny. So some things look really dark right now and other things look light, but I think it's gonna look really nice when it is completely done. The worst thing about staining things is you have to let it dry for a couple days because it kind of has this oily residue, but once it dries it's good. So I'm gonna let it dry the whole weekend and then I'll hang it up and I'll insert a picture of what it looks like hung up with my oils in it. I'm really excited to get my oils on it rather than in a basket that I can't even see what I have. But the rain has picked up. Looks like it's gonna rain for a while. We were so short on rain this month so it's really nice to get a good rain. I thought we would end this video with a little thing called things you may not know about us. So I am gonna tell a thing about Jay that you might not know about him and he's gonna tell something about me. Yeah because I had planned and I knew we were doing this. I'll go first. Okay it's kind of ironic that Jay is wearing this shirt today, but Jay is an avid teenage mutant ninja turtle fan. When we first started dating there was ninja turtle posters. In fact there's a lot of posters all over this living room, but he has all the ninja turtle things. In fact Jay even has a ninja turtle visor to put in like the window. A heat visor. A heat visor to put in the window of his car. I don't know if Jay's had enough time to think, but what is something that they might not know about me? So something that you might not know about Summer is that for our wedding day she practiced a choreographed dance before we danced. Me and her danced at our wedding. My dad and I did a whole choreographed dance that... Yeah that's what I said. But you didn't say it was my dad. You just said me. Me and my dad did a whole dance and it was pretty fun and it was a good time. Yeah it was good. She did good. And Jay doesn't even know. I think we're gonna go ahead relax for the night. Jay already ate his donuts. I earned this night. I didn't finish them. I've had like one fourth of two donuts so like a half a donut. Oh real quick funny story. When I was gonna go check on the cat because she was still outside when it was raining and it started to hit the porch which I didn't know yet, but when I opened the door she was getting ready to come in through like her little doggy door and her feet were wet and she came in and slid and fell down.
