-nyc diaries_ relaxing week by myself, apartment sitting & lots of eating.

On our monthly Ruby's date. How is it? It's so good. First tea. It's strong. You can taste the watermelon, but I can also taste the vodka. Do you taste it? Yeah. But it's also really yummy. To me. I'm just weak. Let's just switch. I'm gonna have to pour this over. Oh my god. How cute is this? Thanks, Rumi. So for dinner, we are having tteokbokki, tuna kimbap, and banchan. Oh my god, this looks so good. First thing I need to do today is go to Trader Joe's because I have no groceries for the week. And as much as I would like to keep just ordering takeout, it definitely adds up. Let's go. I made it back. It is very hot and humid today. But I will say it was quite nice being able to just walk home with my groceries versus having to lug them on the train, up and down stairs. Yeah. Very, very nice. Thought that we could do a little grocery haul. Lettuce. Salad mix. Red peppers. Tomatoes and avocado. My beloved baked tofu. Seriously, cannot live without this. And then I also got some mini tortilla wraps because I want to try making some tacos. Chickpeas. Some coconut yogurt. I wish that they had the bigger tubs, but they only had the tiny ones. So I just got two of those. Some straws and balloons. Last thing that I got are these two sparkling drinks. This is sparkling black tea with peach juice. I also got this strawberry one. To be honest, I kind of just fell for the packaging just because it's so darn cute. Let's try this black tea. Cheers. Wow, pretty good. I am impressed, Trader Joe's. Not bad. I was craving something sweet, so I finally just gave in and got some cupcakes. Wow. I got vanilla, red velvet, my favorite, and chocolate. I'm so happy. Really famous cookie place here in New York, but I have yet to try it just because the lines are always crazy long. They actually have these frozen ones, so I think all you have to do is just pop them into the oven for five to seven minutes, and then they're good to go. I'm going to have a little late night treat as I watch the final episode of my K-drama. I binged that in just a few days, and I'm not ready for it to end. So moist. So today is my last day here. Sookie and Eugene are flying back tonight. Welcome back, roomies. I'm just going to spend some time cleaning and tidying to make sure that this place is ready for their arrival because I'm pretty sure they get in pretty late. I just want to make sure that this place is nice and ready for them to settle back down into especially because they were so nice to let me stay here. I have enjoyed my time. Honestly, this place is so nice. I just want to manifest an apartment like this one day.
