Whoa. We're live. Oh my gosh. This is our bathroom by the way. And okay, so apparently I didn't do a good enough job doing JoJo's high pony. No, you did actually a really good job. I did a good job. But today for all you that have been asking, she's actually going to do it the right way. So I'm going to flip this. There we go. So should I just talk to you? Yeah, talk to her. There we go. I got you. Wow. I've never done this before. It's kind of a lot of pressure because I'll be honest guys, there's not a whole lot to the high pony. But when it's done good, there's... What's my favorite way for you to do your hair? I mean, I love this, but... Flirty high pony. Flirty high pony. What am I talking about? Okay, so I guess we'll just start because we don't have a ton of time. I think first and foremost, what you want to do... My hair is already curled and I think it's really good to curl your hair first. Perfect. And hold on. If you guys have questions, fire away. I'll kind of answer them if I can in between. So first step. Okay, just curl your hair. Curl your hair. I think that's what's going to give you sort of those fun little pops in there and it creates texture. So I already have my hair curled. I already have some product in it. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to add a little bit more into my hair. So I'm going to do... What curler did you use? So this curling iron is a Bombay curling iron. It's the barrel size is one and a quarter. Gosh, you look good. Thanks. She is hot. Okay, so one and a quarter. That's what I do. Just depending on your hair, you can use whatever. So I use a bunch of different products. There's a couple of texture sprays that I like. Good, because you just got a question about texture spray and dry shampoo. So these are the two that I have in my bathroom right now. It's the Amika... I think I'm saying that right. The Undone Volume and Matte Texture Spray. And then the Orbea Dry Texture Spray. I also love... I mean, there's a bunch of brands that I like. Moroccan Oil, Unite. I mean, I have a bunch. There's a few questions that I can answer too, because someone just asked you to curl away from your face. Yes, when you're curling away from your face. But you also want to mix it up and go some towards your face so they don't bunch together. Boom. Okay. So I'm going to get into it. Hi, Pony. I'm going to just put some texture spray kind of in these little lines in my hair. Okay. Okay, no, this is good. Mirror's good. Mirror's good. So this is just to sort of create that texture, especially if you recently washed your hair, or maybe your hair is a little thin. We're just going to grit it up. Get that grit in there, guys. Get the grit. Okay. Just make sure it's clean there. Oh, there we go. So I got a lot of hair. A lot of hair. A lot of hair. A little tingly. Okay, here we go. Wish me luck. Sometimes it takes me three or four times. Depending on how you want... I like to pull it up first and kind of see how I like my part to be when I'm pulling up my hair. I'll kind of do a little bit of a center part. Oh, center part. Okay. Go side by side. It's okay if it's messy, guys. The messier, the better. I like messy. I like messy. So we're just going to start going up. And then what helps me once I get to this point, and I kind of like sort of how it's looking this way, I kind of like to pull my hair each side. So I like to sweep it up this way and then sweep it up that way. All right. Kind of get it. And then I'm going to flip my head over. Okay. And just kind of get it. Get all that in there. That's what I didn't do very well when I did your hair. All that in there. And also, guys, babe. Yep, yep. I'm on it. I like a really high pony. So do I. So when I have my hair flipped, guys, I'm just going to move it forward a little bit. So I'm just going to bring it up a little bit. Okay, move it forward. Sorry, this might not be the best angle. So move it forward while the hair is flipped. Or however you like it. People might not like it like that. Full contact here. So this is kind of where I'm going to want it to be. Okay. It's a little messy. See a side profile so people can kind of see. Okay. So that's where I like it. A little high. I like that. I can't see where it's looking. Looks good. I'm just going to smooth out a little of these bumps. Smooth out the bumps a little bit. But like I said, the best thing about it is that it can be totally imperfect and that's what makes it great. So don't stress about the bumps. Okay. So I'm going to just put in a ponytail and see. I'm already getting some bumps in there, but that's okay. I like the bumps. It's okay. We can fix it. Bumps with the... Okay. So I have my hair in a ponytail now. I'll do this side. Okay. So I'm going to take it and just pull it up and tight. So I've done the side one and you can just pull each side depending on how you want it to sit. And then this is also heated to kind of get it flirty. Take this middle part, guys, and just pull it up. Pull up the middle part. So just take these pieces and start pulling up. Okay. That helps with the height? Yeah. And it also kind of creates this sort of thing right here. I like that thing. So I'm just going to kind of play around and see how my hair is sitting. It's obviously super messy and that's okay. I'm going to push it up. This is kind of where I like it to sit. So now this is kind of just where like the little tweaks come in. This is where the magic happens. So I'm just going to take a... Just like a little teasing comb. Okay. If anything works. Teasing comb. And I'm just going to go from the center. Go over here, basically. Brush it out. This is what I like. I like when a little piece sticks kind of straight up here to kind of give it that perkiness, guys. Is there any questions? Any questions? Hasn't been a ton of questions. People just... She's my fiance. She's freaking gorgeous. Let me do me. Okay. So brush down. And I'm just going to kind of smooth it out. What comb is this again? Just any sort of like... I think I got this at like... I don't know. Okay. Any sort of hair place. Okay. So my hair kind of just... I like this sort of messy look, guys. Yeah. But if you kind of want a little more volume, you can take the end of a comb and you can kind of just kind of shake it out. Kind of get a little more volume there. Pull it in. Yes, Crystal, she curled her hair first. Yes, I did curl my hair first. And I also put product in it. Product. So I'm just going to kind of play around like this. Flirt it. You see how messy this is, guys? I love this. And I want that to stay all day. So I'm just going to take my texture spray and I'm just going to spray it. All of it. Messy it up. It kind of helps, guys. If it looks crazy at first, that's okay. But just start doing this. Rubbing it with your fingers? Yes, kind of rub it to kind of give it texture. And then down here, I don't like these to piece together too much. So I'm going to do the same thing. Okay. Mess it up. People are asking kind of what products do you use? Do you want to go over some of those again? Yeah, so I think that the key to this is texture. So you're going to want a lot of texture depending on how your hair is. I always like to start, if my hair is, this is going to sound counterintuitive, but if my hair is cleanly washed, I'll start by putting dry conditioner in it. Even though it's not greasy, I think it kind of gives, it doesn't give you that grit, that texture sprinkle, but it'll kind of start the process of getting it not so slick and silky. So I'll just put some dry shampoo in there. Really any dry shampoo works. This is Amika. I think I'm saying that right. But I also love this Batista that you can get literally anywhere. Oh yeah, use that a lot. Anything. And then I'll go in and I'll take my texture spray. And that is... Let me see that again. And the Oribe one is also really good. Okay. And the Oribe. Boom, people wanted it. Okay. This product is actually kind of... This is great, but a little goes a long way. This will kind of give it that beachy little... Ooh, I like beachy. This little like... I don't know how to explain it. It's a little like sticky, so... They smell wonderful. Ooh, my sprays. Oh gosh, guys, don't use that. My sprays mess up. Scratch that. But I'm just going to play around with the top and that's really it. Does it work better with dirty or clean hair? You can do both. If your hair is clean, then you just put a lot of product in it. But you want it to feel like this. And another thing, I have very full hair. So that's helpful when you have sort of this. Yeah, someone asked if they have really thick hair that... Yeah, so if your hair is super thick, you may have to double up on your band. So if you double up on your band, it's also going to create height for you. So it's going to bring it upwards and it's going to hold it. So that's really it. And then if you want to cover this band right here, I don't mind it, but you can just take a little piece from the back. Oh, I did that. I did that on ours. Just a small little piece and you can wrap it. This will kind of take your ponytail from being like daytime casual to kind of like more fancy. And then there's two ways of doing it. You can either tuck it. This is going to be hard to show. And I'm going to be able to get this. Oh, okay. Actually, I'll just do the bobby pin. It'll be easier. Okay, so you can tuck. You can tuck it back into the hairband or you just take a little bobby pin. And I, to be honest, I don't even know what this looks like. It could look really bad, but I just pin it kind of up into the back of my hair. Boom. It's kind of loose, but that's kind of how it is. And then you can also take more bobby pins if you want this tighter and just hide it into the band. Okay. People are asking what kind of shampoo and conditioner. Guys, I use a lot of stuff. I'll be honest. I think that's just Pantene, isn't it? That's Pantene. I have Function of Beauty in there. I like, the Function of Beauty one is that I custom made. Don't, you know, I'll be honest, a little secret. I love the way Pantene makes my hair feel, but my hairstylist said that it wasn't that great for me, but I still like it. So that was something that I grew up on, but I'm not like a shampoo snob. So if I try something out and I like the way it feels and the way my hair looks. Does it hurt your head or give you a headache? Do you wear it all day? No, but I'm also tough. She's tough. So that is that. What's the difference between texture spray and dry shampoo? So texture spray is just going to give it a little more grit slash stickiness. It's like a spin between hairspray and dry shampoo. And then dry shampoo is just going to sort of be more matte, but like more like a powder. So it's not going to give you that hold where texture spray will give you a little bit of hold. Gotcha. And then if you want to hold it down, guys, top it off with a little hairspray, a fine hairspray. Get it high. Look at that high pony, baby. Blurrty. Let it be crazy when you walk out the door because it's going to flatten. So just spray it. Play with it. That's it. And another thing that I do, I don't have it with me now, but if you sort of have a little bit of like, I don't want to say a receding hairline because I don't like to say that, but like these areas right here, sometimes what I'll do for like photos or for filming, I'll go in with like a brown sort of like eyebrow powder or an eyeshadow that's really matte and kind of matches my hair and just fill in these spots. So you get sort of a clean hairline. And that's really simple. But I think it all just comes down to like maybe the texture of your hair and there's definitely ways to make it really thick and voluminous and... That was easy. Yeah, have a look. Looks really good. Okay. Almost that, like maybe just a little better than when I did it, but not... But the next year, the better. I feel like that's it. That's it, guys.
