Hey guys, welcome to foodie Friday. I totally just made that up. But in this video, I thought I would
show you guys what Amelia eats because you all kind of know what I eat from my what I ate
Wednesdays. So I thought it'd be interesting. I get a ton of requests to do like toddler snacks,
toddler diet kind of videos. So I thought it'd be interesting to show you guys what Amelia eats
in any given day. Obviously, it's not the same every day, but this is just what she's going to
eat today. This video also will feature something that we baked together and we made a video. It's
really cute. So be sure to check it out. I'll put the link down below. It's on the Mom's Eye
View channel. Be sure to subscribe if you like the video because we're going to be doing more
of those over there on that channel. So I hope you guys like it, but stay tuned for what we baked
because it's actually really cool. Okay, so it's breakfast time this morning. It's like half eight
and this is what Amelia has been having for breakfast lately. So this is readybrek and I'm
going to show you guys. It's the instant like easy sachets. That's what they look like. And readybrek,
if you don't know, is like finely milled porridge and it's nice for kids. And what I do is I chop up
half a banana and I mash it up in a little bowl and then I add the mashed banana into the readybrek
and she has her readybrek with whole milk. She drinks the super milk with like the added vitamins
and stuff in it. And then I'm going to add some honey, which I will show you guys. And this is
Amelia's breakfast. So she's having her readybrek. So I just added some honey and adding the banana
is just a good way of like secretly adding it in there and having her eat it without even noticing.
And then for her drink, which she's actually finished, she has some orange juice. We get the
innocent kind and that is her breakfast. For lunch, Amelia loves ham and cheese sandwiches. It's just
like her go to lunch meal. So that's what she's having. Oh, is it hot? Hot, hot, hot, hot. That's
what she's having today. She's having a toasted panino with ham and cheese and sweet corn, which
is one of her faves. I've cut up some cucumber. She honestly, she rarely touches the cucumber.
She does like tomatoes though. So I put them in, but I always just give her the cucumber anyway,
in hopes that she might eat it one day. And then she's drinking milk. And I just wanted to add
that Amelia rarely finishes. In fact, she never finishes what's on her plate. We always give her
more and half of it ends up in the dog's mouth or on the floor. So that's just how it is. But yeah,
she'll probably eat like at most half of this. So Amelia just got up from her nap and she's having
a snack. She always has a snack and watches some Peppa Pig or something on the couch with me
after her nap. So for her snack, she's having some grapes, which are her favorite fruit.
And one of these Goyos, these are by Glenisk. They're like an organic company and they do these,
they're really clever actually for kids to eat their yogurt or like get some kind of a healthy
snack. She loves them. They're just like these little pouches of strawberry yogurt. There's no
sugar. It's like a sugar-free organic recipe. And, um, they're really, really good actually.
The yogurts, the pots that you get, I eat them myself, but this one, you just like rip off the
top and then it, you know, there's like a little slit there. Amelia can suck it out and she loves
to do that. So we're going to have a little snack. Yeah. Okay. Come on. Let's watch some Peppa Pig.
Come on. Good girl. This is not really a typical meal. In fact, she's not had this in a really long
time, but we're actually having separate meals. Usually we always eat the same exact thing,
but Jonathan and I are having kind of a lazy pasta day. So Amelia is having PB and J
sandwich toasted made by yours truly. Um, so just peanut butter and strawberry jam. Oops,
careful. It's leaking. Good girl. And then she's having her milk and a boiled egg and that's her
dinner. Um, now usually, like I said, she does have whatever we're having, but, um, today was
just a little bit different. So it's kind of a fun meal, but I remember when I was little,
I used to get boiled egg and toast if my parents were like going out or something like that before
dessert. And Amelia is having what she thinks is a cupcake, but it's actually a healthy banana
muffin. We baked these yesterday. Didn't we? I'll open it for you in a second. Sorry. You want me
to open it? You want me to open it? We baked these yesterday. They're super healthy. They,
we got the recipe from the ASDA website and we put up the recipe video on the mom's eye
view channel. So check that out and subscribe to that channel if you liked that video,
because we will be doing more if you guys like them. This went really well. These are really
healthy. They've got sunflower seeds in them and dates and all kinds of things that she wouldn't
normally eat. And I need to cut this up for her, but, um, it's like a healthy kind of toddler snack
or dessert. And she doesn't even know the difference. So thank you so much for watching
this video. If you want to check out my blog for pictures and check out what cupcake. Yeah.
So we're going to eat our cupcake now and, um, check out our baking video and let us know what
you think. So we will talk to you in our next one. Bye. Say bye-bye. Bye.
