Pancake meets Caesar (our new kitten)

We're walking to the car. It's such a long walk. Well, it's not really. It's like 10 minutes. But, I'm so excited. I thought I would, um, just vlog this because I'm interested to see Pancake's reaction. I'm really nervous. Like, I'm not nervous to get him, but I'm really nervous to get, um, Pancake's reaction. Like, I really hope he likes him. He'll probably be raging at the start. He'll be, like, really angry. But, hopefully after a while, they will get used to each other and he'll be fine. I haven't vlogged in ages. It feels so weird. But, um, I know it's been a bit of a long time. But, yeah, it's just been, like, lockdown for, like, four months now. And we haven't been doing anything at all. So, there's just nothing really. I haven't been motivated. I just don't really know what to record at the minute. But, I just thought this was a good time to, to vlog. And, yeah, see the wee journey of Cesar coming home. So, Carlo has a wee bag on his back. It's so funny. He'll have a wee, um, like, wee school bag for him to go in. So, he'll be going in that. And I'm ready to go see him. I've been talking to him from... I haven't been talking to him. I've been talking to the girl, the breeder, on FaceTime from the 5th of January. So, I've been waiting for so long. Like, it feels like forever. I can't believe the day is finally here. So, I will update you as we go on. So, I've been outside this woman's house for, like, 20 minutes now. She's still not out. I don't know what's happening or how we're getting it, or getting him brought over with COVID. But, we're just kind of sitting in the car, slouching. So, I'm not sure if she's waiting on the rain to come off or something. But, I don't know. She said 10 o'clock and she's, um, still not out. And it's quarter past. So, I don't really know what's happening. I'm really nervous because I don't know what way, what way she's going to hand him over. Because she told us to bring our own carriers. And, yeah, I don't know. She's still, still not out. Okay, so it's been half an hour now and she's still not out. I'm getting really freaked out now. Like, what if, I'm just paranoid. Like, what if she doesn't even give us, give us one? She's already texted. I know, but, like, why is it taking so long? Half ten? Right, so, it turns out it was our fault. We were at the wrong house. I'm actually so embarrassed. We're half an hour late for her. Like, she was like, I'm finishing my break. But, we'll have him. And, he's so tiny. He looks so much bigger on the video, doesn't he? He's so tiny. He's crazy. He's so small. Right, I'm going to turn around and show you. He's actually gorgeous. He is stunning. Okay. I can't believe how cute he is. Look at him. How stunning. Hello. We actually would have been home already if we hadn't went to the right house. I'm so embarrassed that we were literally 40 minutes late for it because we were sitting around the corner. There's two house numbers that are the exact same. Literally a two second walk. So it was really confusing. And I can't believe we were sitting outside someone's house. And they were looking out the window and all. And I was like, why are they looking out? Some randomers just sitting outside their house. He is just so cute. He's just sitting there. He's so scared. I can't wait to see Pancake's reaction. But I can't because I know it's going to be bad. He's going to hate it. But I've looked at loads and loads of videos. Like there's one how people introduce their cats. And a lot of them seem to put them in the toilet first. Like we don't have a big house. So it kind of has to be the toilet as well. Because we don't have like a separate room really. So I'm going to put him in there. I'll let him settle for a couple of hours. And then we do the introducing after that. Do you not want to come out yet? Like he is having a good sniff in there. He's so funny. Aww. Hello. He did come out of the bag by himself. He didn't take the mic. He's been walking around a bit. Pancake's going to cry. I think he was in that. Pancake's still sniffing in there. Oh come on. I think you've sniffed enough. Aww. He's so cute. I don't know. He can't get a hang of everything. And then there's Pancake. Right, they're still sniffing. Who is that? Eh? I don't know if the vibe's off. I'm not sure. Who is that? I don't know if they see each other and Caesar's not coming. I thought Pancake would have been the one who was going off. Caesar. It's okay. Pancake's just not really bothered that much. Yeah, we'll have them separated if we need to. We'll have them apart. Mm-mm. Oh my goodness. Okay, watch. No. Watch out. He's going to have a heart attack, Caesar, when he sees the big monster jump up. He's probably sleeping watching. Watch, he's hissing. Okay, never mind. That wasn't good. That was so cute. Yeah, it's been like six hours and there's still not much. I mean, they're not fighting each other. They're just keeping their distance, so. I don't know when they're finally going to meet. He's just watching them. Awesome. Keep moving so we can see them. Yeah, Caesar. I don't know. They just haven't even worn overcoats enough to sniff each other in the room. Caesar's a wee bit feisty. Their look just hasn't much changed, to be honest. They're still hissing at each other. I mean, they've came around a wee bit. They're not really getting in each other's way at the minute. They're just being in the same room. They're sleeping. They're not best mates or anything. They haven't really touched each other without hissing. They haven't touched each other at all. But yeah, I'm just going to keep updating and see what happens until they become best mates. If they do. But yeah, I don't want to put this vlog on until there's an outcome. Do you know what I mean? So I will just keep updating until there's any difference. I'm hoping it's still there tomorrow. But he did pee for the first time and he actually ate when he started playing. So I think he started to settle. He definitely wasn't settled before because he didn't make at all for like a full day. Like, until this morning from yesterday morning. Yeah, is that my key? Hi. This is just going to take a few. Thank you. So we're on day six. I didn't really have any updates any other day because there still wasn't really anything to be updated. Like, the past two days have been amazing. They're like finally playing with each other. They're not really fighting or anything. Like, they're just wanting to sit with each other and play. So it took like six days, but we got there. And I never thought that this would happen. I'm so happy. They're so cute. They're just playing together. I know. They are friends. I think Pancake likes them. Pancake doesn't really play that much. So it's not like him to even be playing with something. Now he's playing with Caesar. It's so cute. I'm actually so, so happy. I've seen all these other YouTube videos. Like, it usually only takes a day or two. So I was really scared. I was really like, this really isn't working. Like, they're never going to like each other. But it just takes patience. So happy it finally worked. And they're just friends now. Isn't she cute? Playing together. So happy. So yeah, it only took about a week, but we got there. Hopefully you can still hear me.
