THE DAY SHE GOT ENGAGED | *SHE HAD NO IDEA*

This is the day I've been dreaming about for years. Guys, I think something's happening today. You want to tell them what we think it is? Well, first of all, we're going to go down to St. George, and we're going to walk through the house that we're going to be building this fall, which will be really fun. And then secondarily, something big is going to happen. I think Dallin's family is down there, which is weird. But we don't know anything at this point. Or do we? All right, on our way to St. George. Franny, we got to go somewhere, okay? And we'll be back in a couple days. We left you enough... Don't worry, guys. We left her tons of food and extra water, so she'll be fine. Never believe gentry. Or grandma's going to come get you. Bye, Franny. Oh, and also we have to take our other car because... Too many of us. Well, yeah, that and we'd have to charge a couple of times to get down there, and I don't want to have to wait for it to charge. Biggest flaw of electric cars. All right, let's do this. We're at the original Swig right now. My family is already driving me nuts. Just kidding, they're not. But I thought you guys would want to see that. The original. We are headed to Desert Color. We're going to go see the beachfront home, which is Gentry and Steve, our friend Steve Hutchins. They went together and helped get the plans ready for the house. And so we did essentially the same interior of the house, but they made them look different on the outside. So we're going to go see their house because their house is finished. And it's decorated. It's being rented out. It's so cool. So if you guys are ever looking for a place in St. George to rent, ours is not available because we haven't started on it. But theirs is called the Beachfront Home on Instagram. So you can check them out there. Oh, and they do probably not for a year. Ours, right? It won't be done for a year. We're starting it in the fall. Basically in a year. Anyways, but theirs is going to be available to rent. It's already booked out. Like we wanted to rent it for this weekend and it was booked out. It is that cool of a place, right? You guys love it. If you come down to St. George and you just stay in desert color. You gotta check it out. It's really just quite the sight to see. So we're doing it for rental property so we can rent it out. It's a really cool area and there are not many places like that here. So that's why we were able to get a lot early on and we're so excited about it. But I'm excited to see this finished because I saw it when it was like still under construction. And for me, I can't visualize plans. So it's good when I can like see it first. We'll give them the tour. We'll give you a tour. It'll be worth it. That's right. I know I'm excited. This is our lot right here and then you can't see it up. But that's just pure water. I'm going to walk out. You can see where Brock and Kesley and Boston are. So here is the view. So the view from our front porch will just have such a killer look out there. Then this is the back patio. This is kind of the setup that's going to be fire pit outdoor grill. What do you think? I love it. So here's the hot tub. I like this, though, because there's like a little shelf. And Steve is so good about he designed this with McQuay. I sat there and basically just kind of nodded my head and was like, oh, yeah, that'll be great. But his view is like incredible. And basically midday and in the evening, this will all be shaded because the sun sets that way. So I'll take you guys on a little tour upstairs and you'll see what I mean. But everything opens up like this thing completely slides open. So it's indoor outdoor, which I love. And then here's the inside, the little nook. And this can seat, I think, 28 people. They're getting it cleaned right now. We're kind of in between. But the beams and everything in this place are pretty awesome. Here's the entry, little powder bath right there. But I love this door because at a place like this, it's like you want light coming in. But what's even crazier is it goes up three floors. I'm going to go all the way up to number three, level three. But let me give you a taste of level two really fast. Again, it's getting clean, but seriously, just another huge hangout area. Actually, I'll just start here. And this was designed purposely. It's cool about this is there's nothing in your way. So there's no deck or anything to block your view, which I love. The pool is going to be cleaned here in a minute. And the pool will look about as blue as that out there. I'll take you out onto this deck that every bedroom has a bathroom. And then there's bunk rooms. But here's a little a little deck that you can hang out out here, sunbathe or whatever you want to do. And again, there's our lot right there. But the views like the higher you get, get better. And then there's another master there. So seven bedrooms, seven baths and a couple of half baths, a theater room. So there's just so much to so many places to hang out if you have huge families or business conferences or whatever. This is one of the details that I love because walking up the stairs, you just have light everywhere. Nothing about this house is dark, which is really nice. Now walking up to the third level show you this is the outdoor little living space. But first, let me take you in this room. And this is already dibs this one. But look at this room. And this like this would be what you look out every day that you stayed here. But this is everything's a king. So like pretty nice size rooms for rental. So this is the space where I think will be used the very most. This is just the outdoor deck area. But tons of shade. It's about in the 80s right now and it feels so good in the shade. There's another fire pit over here on this side. And there's another fire pit here and another fire pit down there. We're really concerned if people get cold. We don't want to get cold here. So but this is just a place you could totally just hang out, watch the kids in the pool or whoever and just enjoy that view. But there'll be some more houses similar to ours along there. And then more along those sides. So look, just look how the detail Split Rock is the builder. And I'd highly recommend them because first of all, we love them. They're just the most laid back good group of people that build amazing houses. So and then my hope everything is kind of moving. But there's going to be other lagoons. I don't know if it's here or over here. So and there are sliders everywhere. So this whole thing opens up. Looks like the kids are in there. So so here's the bunk room. So this is where Brock and Cassie will sleep. Not just kidding. I know the little lights. They really did a nice job. And this was one of the things I was like, why? Why do you put a sink? And it's like, well, because if you have to like brush your teeth or. Yeah. So this is the theater slash a bunk room area, which is seriously so nice. And we got the builder. We got everybody here today. And then Greg, my business partner, he's going to be building somewhere along there. OK, but then we both have good views and then we can look at each other and wave in the morning. So but so many places just to entertain. And then one last time, let me tease you guys with the area where everybody is. There's the builder himself. So if you're ever in St. George and you get lucky enough to have him build your house and there's his wife that never wants to be on camera. She's the backbone. So yes, incredible. Oh, and then I'll show you downstairs master. That's the one that we didn't know. But this is also super cool because you just have full view of the pool. And then there's an outdoor bathroom, too, which is nice. So people aren't tracking stuff into the house. But this flooring can get wet. But I love this bathroom. So you got a huge tub and no jets because we don't want it to be gross. I don't know. Jets kind of weird me out. And then the nice little walk in shower, which is so nice. Little seat, little bathroom right there. Obviously, I'll have a bidet and then a closet right here. And then there's also owner's closet. So that's probably where all of his swimsuits and I don't know, whatever else. Here's the crew. We're going to go look at one other lot. So builders taking the Saturday off and just taking us around everywhere. Where are we to take one outside? Well, there's Greg. Becky is running a whole bunch of errands right now. I'm just kidding. They're down on a list. Serious conversation and the rest. And I haven't been to Outback Steakback in about 20 years. And it was actually really good. Yeah, it's been about. Most important part of getting together with your friends is finding a spot where you can take pictures. Oh, Greg's going in to get someone. I would never do that. I'm not easier. Look, my friend will take a picture for us. All right, guys, we are headed somewhere very special. We have now let these three in on the secret. Are you guys excited? Yes, so excited. It's kind of a big deal. You'll find out in five, four, three, two, one. Give you a little sneak peek. It's about to go down. And Caitlin has masterminded all. And Dallin. And Dallin, obviously. And Kesley. And Brock. And Boston. This is pretty. I don't know if this is picking it up as pretty as it is out here. That backdrop is like unbelievable. OK, so they're over there getting everything set up. I told them that I also wanted to be surprised with Alyssa and Dallin. So I might walk right behind Alyssa and Dallin. So I'm surprised as the father of the bride. And I'm also more of a I'm kind of overseeing this whole project just from the car. And of course, when I go over there, I'll have completely redo it a different way. Just so I'm satisfied. Anyway, Dallin and Alyssa should be here at seven. So a few minutes and then things are going to go down in a very good way. The day I've been dreaming about for years. Get her out of the house. It's obviously not as surefooted as myself. Oh, OK. Dallin might just need to throw her. Oh, my gosh. Just throw on your shoulder. Your first injury as an engaged couple. Her ankle's a little swollen, but it'll be fine. I wouldn't get it every time.
