We're back from Santorini, after a few days on that island.
The truth is it's super good for there.
And the only thing is that, muchísimo calor hacía.
But well, we're here in Crete again, which is where we're going to end the trip.
We'll be one more day alone, because we have a flight back to Madrid tomorrow.
So we are staying in Heraklion, in the capital of the island.
And what we're gonna do is it's pretty late.
The idea was to come a little earlier, do a tour of the city, have dinner and such.
But we're late because the ferry we came on from Santorini
He's been late, like an hour and a half.
Then it took us all the way to the airport to rent the car and stuff.
Well, at last we've run out of time and it's pretty late.
So nothing, we'll rest, we'll take a shower.
And tomorrow we will begin with force the last day.
I'll show you the hotel room where we're staying here in Heraklion.
We're only staying here tonight, but the truth is the room is pretty good.
It's a shame you can't stay more days, really, with all you have.
But good, I'll teach you short till tomorrow.
This is our apartment for tonight.
This is like a little salon.
Here's the kitchen.
As you can see, she's very chula.
He's staring at the light, putting on some more orange bulls.
But, well, it's pretty white.
Here is the bathroom.
See you.
How you doing, super cute.
Super cute decorated todo.
And here's the shower.
It's these showers that are so rainy.
And then here's what's the room.
Here to leave the suitcase.
Y la part de la cama. You know what I mean?
As you can see, it's pretty good.
Start a new day.
We have come today to the area of Nosos.
That is a city, well, an antigua ciudad.
It's only 5 kilometers from Heraklion.
Y en Nosos is a city that is very important.
For in fact it is considered the first European city in history.
This is where the Minoan civilization lived.
It was also one of the most important civilizations in Europe.
He lived in this part of the Mediterranean.
And that was a civilization that ended when in the year 1500.
Before Christ more or less, 1600.
A volcano erupted in Santorini that's why and other factors.
He was, at least at that time, a believer.
These were the factors that caused the Minoan civilization to disappear.
He lived mainly on the island of Crete.
Then this city was built in the year 2000 before Christ.
The city of Nosos.
And reached a maximum of 100,000 people here.
In this city right now it's pretty destroyed.
It was discovered a hundred and fifty years ago.
By the 19th century.
You were digging her up.
And they've been restoring some of the rooms of this great palace.
More than 1200 rooms.
Because this palace is what was considered a ciudad palacio.
I'd need a little of both.
It was a palace but it was used for many events.
Some of these rooms are more or less rebuilt.
To see what the old palace was like.
What we'll see.
As for the Greek mythology.
It's where the Minotaur was found.
The mythical labyrinth of the Minotaur.
The King of Minos.
Much of what you see in this palace.
Not to mention practically everything is rebuilt.
Because not only the volcano eruption.
He made the Minoan civilization disappear.
But really what more damage did he cause in this palace.
There were some earthquakes.
This palace was finally built in 2000 BC.
Back in the 1800s there was an earthquake that did great structural damage.
And then other earthquakes made it slowly fall apart.
Late 19th century, early 20th century.
When he was doing this reconstruction.
Well, it's been done according to what you thought it was.
The different rooms, the rooms.
And depending on the functionality that you thought each of them had.
He's been doing the reconstruction on the base of it.
We've been to the throne room.
That's where the throne of King Minos was.
I've been saying that before.
And the truth is it's a tiny room.
Visitors are not allowed inside.
There's a glass window as far as I can see.
We have now come to the small fishing village of Agios Nikolais.
Which translates as San Nicolás.
It's already pulling more towards the east of the island.
It's an hour and a half from Heracleon.
It is a very pretty little fishing village.
That makes you a little curvey on what's the island.
And that makes it a kind of lagoon.
That's the lake you see down here.
That is the lake of Boluismani.
No, it's not really a lake.
Because it's really connected to the sea.
With a little walk, a mini river.
What's up?
But, well, it's called the Boluismani Lake.
Because of that feeling.
But remember a little of the towns like Janía's.
Where we were at the beginning.
Because it has this kind of port.
No, it's not a Puerto Rican.
But good, this port with the restaurants and so on.
The little places around what is the port.
In the lower part.
So nothing, let's give a little tour around here.
Maybe we'll come by the area.
Now we have come as the last point of the day and of the journey.
A la playa de Boulisma. It is a beautiful place.
It's near the little town we were in before.
The Agios Nikolais.
It's an incredible play.
It's really pretty.
There are no differences with the beaches and the sea of southern Crete.
Although it seems a lie.
That's what we've noted.
For example, in this part of the north the water is a little more murky.
In the south.
As for example in Loutro.
In the playa de la Zonissi, and so on.
The water is clearer here.
You can be swimming.
You see quite the depth.
You can go snorkeling.
You see the bottom.
For example in Loutro the bottom was like 3 or 4 meters.
Well, you see perfectly.
Then in that aspect it was better.
This is what you got.
For example, the water is warmer.
It's pretty hot.
It's more like a caribou roll.
We've enjoyed it a lot.
We've been here a few hours.
But we have to pick you up.
Because we're going to the airport.
And we'll finish the trip.
From here to Greece.
For these three Greek islands we've been to.
For Crete, Milos and Santorini.
And good for you.
No, I'm not going to alargar.
The truth is, the trip was spectacular.
We've been enchanted by all the places we've been.
Some more sites and others less.
But good.
That's for your taste.
For example, I liked Crete a lot, Milos.
For all the areas you have to bathe.
So unique.
Where you can be even alone.
That part of me has been charmed.
Santorini is a place where most people go.
O todo el mundo is enchanted by him.
And surely it is so.
O sea.
You are cute.
It's precious.
Especially the part about her.
And all that is precious.
But it's true that it's not for me.
Then that depends on each person.
In my case.
Well, the fact that there are places with so many tourists.
That everything is so focused on what's on the photo.
Well, I don't know.
I'm not so full.
But it's true that it's very pretty.
In the evening it is also muy bonito.
But you have that part.
And besides, it's not a zone so destined for beaches.
Or bathrooms.
That's what I liked most about this trip.
Places where he could bathe.
Sites that are so unique.
Then that part no me la da Santorini.
But that doesn't make it any less beautiful.
It's a spectacular place.
I'll tell you what.
If you go.
You'll be delighted, I'm sure.
But simply.
- I'm not going to.
Well, that depends on the kind of trip you're making.
Or what you're looking for when you travel.
Well, I'm sure you'll fill some places more than others.
Nothing more.
So that's nothing.
I'm not here.
Thank you so much for accompanying me on this new journey.
From this new stage.
The post-pandemic.
Hopefully the first of many.
Despite me.
Thank you very much.
And see you next time.
