It looks like there's a potato in my drink.
This leaf life is not for me so far.
Honestly, it's probably my least favourite food ever.
Feels like rationing back in the day.
World War II vibes.
Well then, I guess this is where it begins.
Today I'm going to be following a Models What I Eat In A Day video.
So I came across this video the other day and I watched it because I thought it would be really
like good inspiration for some healthy summer meals and stuff.
As I was watching it, I was thinking one, this looks like a lot of effort.
Two, I've never heard of some of these ingredients.
And three, I don't really like some of these foods.
So today should be interesting.
But saying that, as I was watching this video, I really, really liked the girl who was making it.
So I'm going to link the video in the description down below.
I love her morals and stuff.
She doesn't promote dieting.
She just promotes eating healthily, which is probably what I need to do.
Because if any of you guys have seen my What I Eat In A Day videos,
you know I love a ham and cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps for lunch.
Not today though, my friends.
Not today.
I'm absolutely starving.
So I'm going to go and have breakfast now.
Let's hope that it's a filling breakfast.
Otherwise, I'm going to be a hangry ham today.
And a hangry ham is not something you want to see.
I think possibly the hardest thing about doing this video today is that the girl who created
the original video wasn't from the UK.
So when I went to my local Asda yesterday, I couldn't find a few of the ingredients.
But I think the thing I'm going to struggle with the most is she doesn't drink normal cups of tea.
And I drink a lot of tea.
As you can see, these ingredients do not equate to a usual British cup of tea.
So just like she did, I'm going to put a little bit of mint and a bit of ginger in a glass
with some boiling water.
And that's going to be my tea for this morning.
Wow.
I love health.
I wasn't sure what to do with the ginger because hers looked like it had been shaved.
So I just shaved mine.
I don't know if you're meant to do that with ginger or not, but I did it.
My god, what's up with those mint leaves?
And this leaf life is not for me so far.
But while that's cooling down, it's time to make breakfast.
The breakfast that the model has isn't actually too far-fetched from what I usually have.
I usually go for a yogurt and fruit and granola.
However, she used a coconut cashew yogurt.
It had no dairy in it and stuff.
But obviously, Asda in the middle of Essex did not have that.
So I just got a coconut flavoured yogurt.
I got the healthy one because I thought that's probably what she would choose if she were in Asda.
She also used homemade granola.
However, you can't beat a bit of Georgian's cherry and almond.
So I'm just going to stick with my usual for that.
It's granola.
It's pretty much the same thing as what she had.
And then she used half a banana.
I would usually have a whole banana.
And she also had a kiwi.
Kiwi is probably my least favourite fruit of them all.
And she ate the skin.
She doesn't look like she used much yogurt.
So I've stuck to the amount that kind of looks like she's used.
Because she eats her kiwis with the skins on, I thought it was only fair for me to try it.
It looks hairy.
Cheers!
The skins are coming off, I'm afraid.
Alrighty then.
So here's my breakfast compared to her breakfast.
I'm not going to lie, that took me quite a long time to make this.
And I am starving.
Like babe, aren't you ever so hungry that you just want to get up and have a Weetabix?
Can you really be bothered doing this every single day?
First things first.
Bottoms up.
I mean, it's refreshing.
It just ain't a cuppa.
But it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
My face might say otherwise.
I am going to miss a normal cup of tea today though.
Next up, breakfast.
This actually looks delicious.
Like I'm quite proud of myself.
I think it looks quite like hers.
Oh, that coconut yogurt.
Delish!
Let me just wash my healthy breakfast down with my healthy tea.
Okay, maybe I'm not the biggest fan of the tea.
But to be honest, I can quite happily eat this breakfast.
The coconut yogurt and the kiwis making me feel well tropical.
I feel like I should be in the Bahamas.
Little update.
I finished my brekkie.
It was actually very nice.
Not as filling as my usual, but the coconut yogurt was a big hit.
I'll definitely be buying that again.
But this tea, I just can't get on board with it.
I'm really trying my best to drink it.
I've been taking little sips for like 10 minutes now.
It looks like there's a potato in my drink.
And for my next trip, ladies and gentlemen, we have lunchtime.
So for lunch today, I have something a little bit different.
And by a little bit, I mean very.
Someone tell me what is rye bread and why does it feel like a brick?
But anyway, for lunch today, we've got rye bread with hummus and cucumber.
And then another slice is smashed avocado.
And she put goat's cheese on there, but I'm leaving the goat's cheese out.
I absolutely hate avocado, but I'm going to give it a try.
Even though I've tried it many times before and I've hated it every time.
Let's make lunch.
I'm hungry again.
Shock.
I forgot to mention she also had a boiled egg on the side.
I'm not really sure why, but I'm down for an egg.
Okay, here's my lunch so far.
This actually looks so similar to hers.
Apart from the fact my rye bread is about twice the size of hers.
Honey, am I complaining?
No, I'm not.
I'm just waiting for my egg to finish boiling.
What's gone wrong with my egg?
I'm not going to eat the egg because I'm a bit concerned.
I'm not excited about this avocado.
I really don't like it.
I hate the feel of it.
I don't like the taste of it.
There's just nothing about avocado that pleases me.
I've got my glass of water here as well.
Hell.
Oh, I'm scared.
I'm actually scared.
It feels like you're eating snot.
I don't know how anyone eats it.
Honestly, it's probably my least favourite food ever.
I don't even like the feel of it in my mouth.
I had to spit it out.
I've really tried, but I just cannot eat the avocado.
I think what I'm going to have to do is make another one of these hummus ones
because I just cannot deal with this devil food.
Let me know in the comments down below.
Do you like avocado or not?
If you say you do like it, are you lying?
Okay, I'm back and I now have a much more decent looking lunch.
I'm really sad about the egg as well because I don't know what went wrong
and that was our last egg.
Nevermind, you win some, you lose some.
I seem to lose many.
The rye bread feels very heavy.
Not like normal bread at all, but I love hummus and I love cucumber.
I actually really like trying new things though.
I don't mind this bread.
It's just so dense.
I have an exciting update for you.
So, I'm still currently eating my lunch.
As you can see, I've got quite far through it.
I really like it.
The rye bread is a little bit dry.
I feel like I needed to put a bit more hummus on.
Like, you got to slap that on there.
But generally, I'm really enjoying this.
Mate, I could be a model.
I can eat like a model.
Actually, I don't look like a model.
Maybe I can't be a model, but I can eat like a model.
And that's the main thing I've learned from this so far.
About half an hour later, my mum just got home.
Went, do you want a cup of tea?
I can't have one.
Incredible scenes happening here today.
It's time for an afternoon snack.
And by snack, I mean a green smoothie.
Although I'm not gonna lie, I'm very excited for this because I'm really hungry.
Okay, another thing I've learned, I eat way too much.
If I want to work on my physique to be strutting down the catwalk,
I need to sort my life out.
Just to clarify, I'm not really aiming to be walking down the catwalk
or changing my diet anytime soon.
I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
I do sometimes like a smoothie in the summer.
However, does not usually include this.
Much better.
But anyway, in this smoothie, she included baby kale.
This was the only baby kale I could get from Asda.
It had to come with its mates.
Also didn't realise it was out of date when I bought it.
So I love that for me.
She also used frozen spinach.
I just got normal spinach because Asda didn't have it frozen.
But I thought, what's the difference?
Frozen mango chunks.
Very excited about this.
Mango is my favourite fruit.
We've got some almond milk and the other half of the banana
that I used for breakfast this morning.
So that's everything that's going into my smoothie.
She also added like some maca powder, I think it is.
Some protein powder and all that.
But I don't have any of those things.
So I'm working with what we've got, people.
That's not too bad.
I'm not gonna lie.
On this day, I don't mind this as a snack.
Is it a snack though?
Debatable.
I quite like it.
Right, my friends.
It's time for dinner, finally.
It's quarter past six.
I'm really hungry, I'm not gonna lie.
Tonight is chicken stir-fry, I think, kind of thing.
Little bit adapted because again, surprisingly,
I couldn't get zucchini noodles in Asda.
Let's do it.
Let's get cooking.
Okay, little update.
My camera battery died,
but I've made the almond butter sauce for the chicken.
The chicken and onions are over here cooking.
I'm gonna put the noodles on in a minute.
Obviously, if you wanna make this dish as well,
then check out, I think her name is San.
I think that's how you pronounce it.
Check out San's video
because she explained it all like in depth.
Okay, turned out to be a bit of a fail.
It doesn't look bad.
It smells really nice.
I guess we're just gonna have to see what it tastes like.
But it looks nothing like hers.
My mum's got one as well.
Lucky her.
I mean, it's barely even similar by this point, is it?
Right here, guys, let's hope the chicken's cooked.
Oh my God, it's so nice.
Hannah, you have outdone yourself.
Oh my God, I'm so impressed.
It's like, I would kind of compare it to like a chicken Bacarni.
I'd rate this a solid eight out of 10.
I'm a chef.
Okay, guys, it's a little while later now.
Please ignore the telly behind me.
I know it's a bit annoying.
The verdict on dinner, it was really nice,
but I overcooked the sauce.
So it was kind of like sticky.
It kind of got stuck to the roof of your mouth,
but the flavour was really delicious.
So I think I will make that again, actually.
Now, the final part of the day.
This is the part of the day that I've been looking forward to the most.
I'm not going to lie.
I think that says a lot about me.
So after San had dinner, the last thing she ate was a little evening snack.
So I've got the tea, not great.
But then San herself has allowed me to have a little bit of chocolate.
It is dark chocolate.
I don't mind dark chocolate though.
Like, I'm fine with that.
But she only has two squares.
Two squares of chocolate plus fab han equals never happens in existence.
I think this is the exact chocolate that she ate.
This is the limp one.
And the squares are actually a reasonable size.
Here goes.
Here are my two squares of chocolate I'm allowed for this evening.
Feels like rationing back in the day.
World War II vibes.
This is the last thing I'm allowed to eat tonight as well.
I'm going to be a hungry ham when I wake up in the morning.
It's a big breakfast for me tomorrow.
I might treat myself to a fry up.
Lol, not really learnt my lesson, have I?
But anyway, on that note, I've got my tea and my little bit of rationed chocolate.
San, if you're watching this video, babes, I loved your video.
I'm obsessed with you and what I eat in a days now.
I wish I had a diet like I've eaten today.
I'm going to be making a few little changes.
Nothing drastic.
This definitely isn't going to be making a reappearance after this video.
Not my fave.
Do subscribe to see my future videos.
But for now, thanks for watching.
I hope you're having a lovely week and I'll see you again soon in my next video.
Bye!
Just realised, am I going to be copyrighted because that's in the background?
